• With Fusion OEM key?

  Is that what someone has successfully used a key OEM with Fusion?  I suddenly thought about this while studying on a topic on another thread.

  It seems that the OEM keys are not officially allowed to be installed in any virtualization software.

  OEM DSP "whitebox" versions of Windows work like VMs for the merger.  The product key may not work through the easy Setup Wizard of the merger, but a custom installation work.  As noted, legally, you must be a person who is authorized to use an OEM version, but otherwise, System Integrator OEM DSP, versions of Windows will work as virtual machines.

  @Gingerpip: what is usually 'not compatible' is branded OEM of Windows versions.  (i.e.: Windows prestalled your computer Dell or HP.)  These versions of Windows are looking for from the specific manufacturer material and usually properly reactivate on the different manufacturer equipment.  But the 'white box' OEM software is not hardware specific so can be run as a virtual machine.  However, there are other limitations that are set out in the OEM and other agreements with Microsoft System Builder.

• Clarification on the protection of the VMS with snapshots. SRM 5.1

  In SRM 5.1 documentation one of the limitations listed is:

  VCA mode will mitigate this risk, but you must make sure that the two Clusters to the protégé and recovery Sites are at the SAME level CVS before take snapshots of the memory.

• Installing Win7 downloaded from Dreamspark, with Fusion 5

  I installed 5 Fusion on my Macbook Pro. And now I want to install Win7 with Fusion 5.

  So I downloaded a file large calld "en_windows_7_professional_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_676939.sdc."

  Ms Dreamspark (= Acamedic download site) in my download directory.

  Question, when I run VMware Fusion, I select 'new', and then on the next page I

  then navigate to the file '*.sdc '?  This doesn't seem to be an ISO image file!

  5 merger does know how to install Windows from a non-ISO file?

  What I read the. SDC file format is a .cab file download secure and is actually downloaded and transformed by its proper delivery mechanism and is deleted after being decrypted and uncompressed leaving you with a file type appropriate for what is being downloaded.  So I guess that if all you have is a .sdc file then something has failed in the process.  However, since this is only what I have read and have not worked directly with files of type .sdc, you will need to speak to support where you bought the file and it is certainly not directly usable by VMware products.

• VMware vCenter Converter Standalone client incompatible with Fusion 5.0

  I'm trying to convert my computer from Vista 32 bit on a virtual machine to use on Fustion 5.0. (I have the new retina Mac with Mountain Lion). Unfortunately the coverter allows me to choose Fusion 4.0 and earlier versions.  Does anyone else have this problem?  I hope that VMware is looking at upgrading the standalone converter to make compaitble with Fusion 5.0 anyone else having this problem?

  There is nothing wrong with convert to a Machine virtual VMware Fusion 4.  Once converted and opened in VMware Fusion 5 you can simply enhance the comparability of material to VMware Fusion 5 through its parameters.

• Cannot run or install images of Windows 2000, Windows 2000 works with Fusion 5 Pro?

  I have existing images of Windows 2000 tried to run. I also started an installation of Windows 2000 from scratch. Each time Windows 2000 appears at startup with the | bars progress, but when you get to the end, my Mac everything freezes. I have to hold the power button / stop. So far, Win XP and Windows Vista work fine.

  Windows 2000 works with Fusion 5 Pro?

• MacBook with GMA X 3100 is not compatible OpenGL with Fusion 3.1.2

  I try to get some games running on a guest XP with Fusion 3.1.2 but I can't.

  Today, I use a MacBook with Intel GMA X 3100 graphics card, and I spend 'Accelerate 3D Graphics' on 'On' in 'Settings', 'view '.

  But it seems to be the merger isn't compatible OpenGL, sometimes I see graphic garbage, but that's all.

  I test this with some games like 'Speed Dreams' or "torcs".

  No idea how to get OpenGL running with the merger.

  With wine (1.1.44, Kronenberg Port, see "http://winebottler.kronenberg.org" "") everything works fine, the graph looks like on a Windows PC.

  Well, you will get the performance pretty poor OpenGL on this period of material.  But you're right, Fusion has to work or not allow you to market.

  Argh, you can still see that the single line in my script that I did not test, the Export-CSV cmdlet, gives you bad. The following script, I tried from the beginning to the end and gives even better output:

• Impossible to install 10 Windows via BootCamp on iMac 5K with Fusion Drive

  Hello

  I tried to install Windows 10 Professional via Boot Camp on my iMac 5K end of 2015 (version OS X 10.11) with a disc of the Fusion 2 to for about a week now. Right now I'm on my 4th or 5th try on Windows 10 installation on the iMac because each installation fails gives me an error that the drive is not formatted correctly or he couldn't find the score even though I have the selected in the list of available drives. I even went up to both to run the commands of the PART of the DISK from the command prompt in the area of troubleshooting Installer Windows 10 to format drive to NTFS instead of FAT32.

  Here are some of the mistakes that I received:

  1 Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. This space of hard disk is formatted with a version not support the NTFS file system.

  2. we could not create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the Setup logs files.

  I used the Boot Camp configuration application (version 6.0.1) to create a USB key after you download the image ISO from Microsoft. The USB flash drive that creates the installer will start the iMac, but I can't get past the screen "where do you want to install Windows? I tried the merge disk partitioning ways without success, beforehand, because I thought that it could cause a problem. He was left as a full drive 2 TB, or divide the flash part away and seen the almost 2 to rotation and the merger of 128 GB (flash) portion and lucky either.

  I'm full of ideas on what to try... I have loaded Windows 7 Professional via Boot Camp several times and have never encountered a problem with Boot Camp with 10 Windows so far.

  Workaround I found that worked for me was to install

  Win7 Pro 64 bit.  Then created just the Bootcamp driver USB key

  (no operating system installer).  Next I went to do the upgrade of Win10 of

  in the environment of Win7.  FWIW, I also chose to not save

  anything (new installation).

  You will need to keep the installation to make sure that you press the Option

  key with multiple reboots (why Windows still insists on this)

  and select the Windows volume to boot from.  Once all the nonsense restarts

  were carried out and finally Windows was running, I plugged it in training camp

  driver USB key, install hardware drivers and everything was good to go.

  Now, it was on an old MacBook Pro, which does not officially have the Bootcamp

  support for WIn10 if the material is quite capable.

  I tried just the merge statement in SQL Workshop.  The result is an insertion of 2500 all records user to the table of endings each time that it fires.  If I run again, I get 5000 inserts.  If I understand this process, t.users_id = u.id must return nothing, triggering the insert without match.  Even when there is a match, I always get the insert.  What the hell is happening?

  The p_user_id and the p_term_eff_date are power from bind on page variables.  I put those to be bind variables when I tested the query.

  I'm under apex 4.2 on 11g.

  Thanks for posting the instructions CREATE TABLE.

  Don't forget to display instructions INSERT for you samples, a few calls to the procedure (with specific values for the arguments) and content of t_term after each call.

  What t_users role in this problem?  You get all the information to t_users; you already know the user_id to the time wherever you call the procedure.  I guess the only reason why you have to t_users to this problem is to guard against inserting a user_id not valid in t_term.  (The foreign key constraint would guard against that, too, but it would trigger an error.  You might find a little more elegant to just merge 0 line when an invalid user_id is passed to the procedure.)

  Here's a way to do it:

  Because t_terms.id is forced to be NON NULL, you must provide a value for the id before you can insert a new line in t_terms.  In the above procedure, I guess you have a sequence called term_id_seq for this purpose.

• Cannot use 'Start Up' command on the menu with Fusion 8.1 Pro bar

  After upgrading Fusion 8 on El Capitan, 'Start Up' command can be used off buy Windows 10 settings of the menu bar. It will be available, sometimes clicking on 'Power Off' of random times. Did someone responded with this question?

  I have the problem, it's very strange!

  I use TDE in the name column when I create table1, but I change table2 to encrypt the column.

  I have the error ORA-28374 when I use the merger.

  I dropped table2 and I recreated with TDE in colum.

  So no problem when I use the FUSION!

• Replicate the VMS with FTP and VM with virtual disk shared by: SRM with vSphre replication

  I have a VM and FT is configured on it. Now I can reproduce the virtual machine with SRM with replication of vSphere. I have not configured array based replication. Similarly, I have two DB VMs cluster, but they share a virtual disk between them. Can I replicate these VMs DB with vSphere replication?

  I got the answer, for the virtual machine with FT and shared virtual disk replication, to do SRM with array based replication. vSphere replication cannot replicate virtual machine with FT or shared disk.
