  After successfully I scan a document using my printer/scanner HP Deskjet 2512, the digitized file did not save to my office. This is the first time I came across this problem, now that I'm under El Capitan 10.11.3 version. Is there a fix in a future software update?   Thanks for the explanation. I actually have to install Acrobat and it now works. I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader XI (I think, http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/11.x/11.0.02/en_US/AdbeRdr11002_en_US.dmg ) and opened the program. I noticed that after I opened the new drive, my Adobe Reader 9 program began to work. After that, I tried to open Acrobat and instead of getting the error 6 message that I had before, I had an error on a question of license that would require me to uninstall and reinstall the software. Once I did these steps my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro started working! Don't know why my program, but it is fully functional again. I hope it helps someone else, I have why I came to answer.

• Lightroom 2015.2 CC crashing under El Capitan.

  I work under El Capitan 10.11on a MacBook Pro, retina 15 inches, 2.5 HGHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB of ram and a Nvidia Geforce GT 750 2048 MB graphics card. I thing the computer should be able to run Lightroom CC 2015.2 smoothly. and yet it crashes whenever I try to edit a catalog and randomly every few minutes.

  I see a few answers regarding problems of crash under Windows, but not for Mac. For those of us who use the program in our professional life, releasing a program before it has been tested just shows a dark side to Adobe just interested in making more money and not really interested in the end-user (in addition to his portfolio).

  So that the 'upgrade' removed several features and many expressed that looks more like a downgrade, cannot work at all because the program crashes really kills the Adobe Evangelist and loyal consumers I have been for many years in the past.

  I would like to note that solutions 4, 5 and 6 are not solutions really are... those who are "allows to burn down the House and start over."

  Seriously... the worst ever out of Lightroom. I'm so angry.

  Updated my iMac with El Capitan today and I tried to use 13 elements Organizer to import my photos from a Canon Rebel camera, as I have many times in the past (of which there are two days).  However, now things don't see my camera.  The "get Photos from:" drop-down list remains empty (< none detected >).  Photos Apple application sees the camera and starts automatically, as she normally does.  But no matter what I do, Photoshop Elements does not see the camera.  I also tried on my MacBook with the same results under El Capitan.  Any suggestions?  I was able to load my photos using Apple's Photo app and exporting so I could read in the elements.

  This work around for cards SD high capacity (64GB & more) does the job for people using Photoshop and import with bridge.  It may work for the EP as well

  (1) Insert the SD high capacity in a card reader connected to your Mac.

  (2) insert a USB key which has sufficient capacity for the files you want to download

  (3) copy the files from the SD card on the memory stick

  (4) open Bridge (or organizer PSE?)

  (5) click on Files | Get files from camera

  (6) select the USB key on which you copy the files

  Bridge reads the files and is completely functional - able to rename files, convert them to DNG, delete them when finished. etc. Maybe the same thing will happen with PSE.

  A PITA that you add the step of copying the files on the memory stick, but it's running.

Hit the tilde key ~ key allows me to works for the main window and the preview. But the update designed to fix the recently introduced terribly efficient survey system has not fixed the problem.

  No second monitor not attached, no transit of mercury turned on. Lots of RAM and very simple comps. I read on these forums earlier where a technology adobe says that the problem is user interface taking too many resources at the opening. Makes sense. But you wish someone from adobe has been listening and working on a solution.

  Try adding the signal to the workspace, and then position it under the timeline and do it too thin horizontal as possible.  If I do that even my Mac Mini will run previews in real-time.

  Tried to re - install the OS X El Capitan: reboot 'Command & R' key does not work (just restart the computer as usual). Using the key Options on the re-start appear three icons in the middle is the OS X disk icon (by clicking on it or by double-clicking on it doesn't do a thing), below left is an icon reload (a semicircle arrow, re-load OS X a drive icon), below right a right arrow pointing to the right (this brings back you to the normal running user mode screen). Cannot get any menu to launch the reload of the OS X.

  No idea what I'm doing wrong?

  The El Capitan OS X can be loaded on a Flash DRIVE or a DVD from another machine and then loaded on the computer problem?

  Wait, 10.5.8 is not El Capitan, 10.5.8 Leopard & the hifgest that you can run on a G5.

  Usually the PPC Macs as G5s cannot start OSX USB, although there may be a work around Open Firmware.

  CMD + r only works in 10.7 & upwards.

  See if it works...

  Startup, (now shift key at startup), run disk utility in Applications > utilities, then highlight your reader, click on repair permissions, restart when done.

  Since the upgrade to El Capitan regularly when I send attachments to clients, they complain that the attachments are not here... just a picture of what I sent. (I'm an architect and usually you send pictures jpeg or photo-rendus.) I solved this problem previously using the utility, a 'attachment Tamer", but they no longer support the Apple OS since El Capitan. Is there a setting that miss me somewhere in the Mail to my attachments STAY AS FILES instead of being converted into images online on the receiving end?

  Let me first State that no matter how it seems for them it's always an attachment. They can do a right-click on the image and save it in a file if necessary.

  But, to make them more happy... in Mail go to the Edit menu and select "Always send Windows Friendly attachments" and "always insert spare part at end of Message."

• Wireless keyboard no longer works with Bootcamp that run under El Capitan

  I have an iMac 21.5 mid-2011 "2.7 Ghz, 12 GB with a Bootcamp with Windows 8 partition is installed.

  Everything that used to work very well.

  End of September / beginning of October, I installed El Capitan, but never checked Bootcamp as only a few client projects require me to switch platforms.

  A recurring job that needs to be updated with Windows apps landed on my desk today.

  So I started Bootcamp/Wiindows and everything seemed normal.

  My Apple Wireless Mouse mouse works but found, when I got to the Windows account login screen, that my Apple Wireless keyboard does not work with Windows more.

  I have read several threads on this discussion forum and tried the suggestions made by different people: the VMRAM reset, turn off the iMac and unplug the power supply, the keyboard in Mac OS X Bluetooth pairing. But no joy.

  Several responses seem to indicate that there is a software which can be downloaded in Windows that allow the keyboard is working again.

  However I can't sent the newspaper on the screen to reach the Windows desktop, because I need to enter my password or security number using my wireless keyboard.

  If I seem to be stuck between the hammer and the anvil :-(

  Are there bright and sensible ideas I can try to fix this?
