    Hi Aur0xx,

    Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

    We understand that you are trying to add Hotmail and your workplace for your Safari Top Sites, but when you clear Safari history, these sites disappear.

    The first article below explains that Top Sites that are not marked as permanent will be deleted if you clear the browsing history Safari.

    Safari for Mac: delete your browsing history Safari

    This article explains how to maintain a website in Top Sites.

    Display your Top Sites - using Safari

    • Keep a site up to the Top Sites: Hold your pointer over the thumbnail of the Web site, and then click the PIN icon appears. To unlock the site Web for Web sites can be replaced, click the PIN icon again.

    Once you have Hotmail and your workplace configured to appear constantly in the Top Sites, Safari history resetting shouldn't delete these sites.

    So somehow, I managed to set up the date to December 31, 2100. The only problem is that I opened YT in Safari and now I can't erase it from history. When I remove and reopen Safari it comes back. There are solutions to this problem?

  • How can I remove users from being able to clear history?

    I need to know how to lock preferences for the parameters of the story. I don't want users to be able to change the settings of the story and I already tried the local method - settings.js and mozill.cfg. But the settings don't not gray in the menu options once I put them and that's what I want. I know that my file is playing because I have other parameters that are shown in italics in the subject: config that I blocked. I'm using the wrong settings of the to do it eventually? Or is there another method that I need to use. I already followed all the 't' on this page: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences

    Here is my test mozilla.cfg file I created:

    //

    lockPref ("app.update.auto", false);
    lockPref ("app.update.enabled", false);
    lockPref ("app.update.service.enabled", false);
    lockPref ("toolkit.telemetry.prompted", true);

    Who you trying to change in the settings Option > privacy and you want to prevent others to change?

    You crashes only the settings in 'Clear history of Firefox closing' and not the main parameters.

    You can take a look to the topic: config page to see if it has affected prefs by activating / disabling the checkboxes.

    I don't know which have effect. privacy.item * Pref.

    The subject: config page shows only one for privacy.item.cookies and the source code makes clear to me also.

    I don't know why you want to include items such as sessions (active connections, basic authentication) used by FTP servers and disk cache and offline cache (offlineApps) application.

    People should be able to delete data in the event of problems and clear the cache and cookies must be one of them (we recommend a lot of times to clear the cache and cookies).

    Clears the form data and research should also be possible unless you disable save both passwords and form/search data.

    Note that only tools > Options > advanced tabs, then browser.preferences.privacy.selectedTabIndex will have no effect.

    Browser.history_expire_days preferences and browser.history_expire_days_min are obsolete in the current Firefox and used only versions in versions of Firefox 3.

  • Miss me the function clear history in the history menu Firefox

    I am currently using Firefox 21. Since the 19th, the function 'clear history' in the menu history Firefox disappeared. So no way click on it and clear the history you like, last time... or everything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser several times without change. Only way to clear the history is by manually deleting on the left side of the window after doing Ctrl + h is it possible to set the browser?

    Do you clear recent history in the menu background?
