It is said in support of the pages that the option ' Privacy > don't remember history ' is equivalent to private browsing.
He said also that after you activate private browsing does not store history or passwords. So how are related options: "confidentiality > don't remember history ', ' confidentiality > settings customized user > permanent private browsing ' and ' security > remember passwords?
(1) if I activate "Privacy > don't remember history" fact it also means that the passwords are not stored?
(2) activate instead
"Privacy > settings customized user > permanent private browsing."
This still implies that passwords are not stored?3 If 1) or (2) are together, what is the role of the apparently independent option "security > remember passwords?
I'm sorry but the logic of the user interface is not really clear for me
Thanks for your help.
1. Yes. Setting "Firefox will: don't remember history ' prompts you to restart Firefox, after which 'always use private browsing mode' will be checked. The option "Remember passwords for sites" will be disabled and unavailable (grayed out).
2. Yes. It's the same thing.
3. as I said, in this case the option "Remember passwords for sites" would be unavailable (grayed out). The rest of the time, this option allows to disable the registration of passwords not in private browsing mode.

Firefox 7.0.1. Windows7 Pro 64.
Yesterday I was streaming audio of sky.fm and noticed that the back navigation toolbar arrow no longer and that he has failed since. FF restarting, rebooting the computer, same problem. Private browsing has never been used, i.e. the history file is fine. Using it is the only way to return to a previous page or the site. The visual indication only that the arrow was clicked, the firefox in the tool bar icon fades. All other indications are normal. The current url is displayed, and FF is sensitive to clicks on the link goes to the front - back just not.
Any ideas? Thank you, John.Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

I'm unable to stop "private browsing".
For some reason any Firefox automatically put me under navigation private when I open it. I try to close private browsing, but the option is grayed out. And the problem is that I don't even know if I'm really in private browsing, because it does not indicate in my browser, it just keep signing me my FB, Google, etc... Help, please!
Hi Firefly4u,
Have you looked at Tools > Options > privacy? There is a setting there will be such Firefox to always start in private browsing mode. If is selected, just turn it off and restart Firefox to see if that solved the problem.
You can find more information about the settings in this tab in the article Knowledge Base privacy, and-not-track browsing history settings.
Hope this helps!

When I use the private browsing and connect
- 1 when you use the sign of private browsing Google will keep history within my Google account
- 2 when you use the sign of private browsing Google will keep history within my YOUTUBE account?
Thank you
First of all, update Firefox 16.0.2 to stay secure. Update Firefox to the latest version.
To answer your questions, if you are connected to your youtube account Yes, she will keep a list of your videos visited. It is not maintained by Firefox (or any browser) but by youtube. The solution is to not log into your account or delete your history yutube.
Regarding your first question, I'm a bi not clear what exactly you mean.

When you use private browsing, your web history is connected to your wireless router?
I know that during private browsing, even if your browser does not save history, passwords, etc., that your browsing history may be followed by Web sites and your ISP. When in private browsing mode, your browsing history is getting connected to your wireless router?
Yes, PB has no effect on the information stored in a journal of router.

I can not the firefox window to ask me if I want to remember my password. I'm not in private browsing. The site is not on the list of exceptions in the security zone where all other sites of passwords are stored.
Hello, Web sites can specify whether browsers should be able to save the name of user and password (through the AutoComplete = "off" attribute in the login form in the html source code)-it is often the case when a high level of security is probably held by these sites.
You can either install an addon or use a bookmarklet to work around this restriction.

BlackBerry Tour 9630 - OS 5.0
Problem:
I got this phone from a friend who bought it at the Sprint USA. I've now warned
a Blackberry plan with my operator in France. I got a Blackberry message:
"Your handheld device was registered by the wireless network.
I got this message a few times when I rebooted the Blackberry. However, now
I'm trying to set up the e-mail account, he said that the device was not registered and
follow the following instructions:
Options -> Advanced Options -> host Routing Table -> sign up now
Which I did and then received the following message:
"The registration message sent."
But I never received any confirmation. I contacted my ISP
but since they have not marketed the 9630 they can really help.
We tried to configure and save manually the device on a web browser
on your desktop:
mobileemail. Vodafone.fr
It worked, I was able to add my device with my PIN and IMEI code and
Add an email. But still nothing on my mobile device... :'(
"Your device was a conencting the server problem.
Also I always "Activation required" on the top of the screen.
Could someone please help with this question? I don't really know how
retrieve the blackberry browser and for labour to send it.
Internet seems to work very well, I can access to Whatsapp, viber
and the web via Opera browser... But I just wanted to know if it is
possible to make full use of the Blackberry options
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

Hello again,
Given that I had no solution and nothing to lose, I decided to reset the factory setting
my Blackberry by smoothing on...
And guess what... Everything seems to work perfectly well. I was able to set
e-mail messages. Browser and Blackberry logo are here! So I guess that there are incompatibilities
with the settings already on the phone and the new (from my ISP).
In any case I still don't know why it is still written Activation required on top of my screen and also
When I switch on the mobile, it is still not able to 'register' on the phone. Even if every thing
seems to work fine now.
Thanks for your help.

How can I stop Firefox 4 to automatically switch on private browsing mode?
It appears randomly in private browsing mode. When I check the history when Firefox is opened, it will appear, but when I exit and restart the history is clear. I think it is probably triggered by the https sites, but I'm not sure, so it seems random. I have never used or turned on private browsing.

How can I get rid of the private browsing page when you open a new private window?
When I opened a private page of private browsing navigation appears and says this:
Private browsing
Firefox don't remember the history of this window.
In a private browsing window, Firefox will retain all the history of the browser, search history, download history, form web history, cookies or temporary internet files. However, files you download and bookmarks you make will be kept.
To stop private browsing, you can close this window.
While this computer will not have a record of your browsing history, your internet service provider or your employer can always track the pages you visit.
I want to get rid of this suggestion?
It is not possible to get rid of this page in normal mode.
However, you do not get this page if you start Firefox in private browsing permanent mode (don't remember history).- Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "Use the custom settings for history": "always use the private browsing mode.
You can use an extension for private browsing mode support tab.
- Private tab: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/private-tab/
- Private browsing mode tabs get a dotted underline
- You can toggle private browsing power mode using the context menu of a tab

In addition, above and below the central main screen shows the desktop in the bottom of the tool or menu and the address bar and one downstairs that displays the current pages of use, clock, etc. This should be now or can we change it?
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in private - browsing using Firefox without saving the story mode (permanent).
- In private browsing mode some menu items and features are disabled and show as gray choice.
- You're in private browsing mode, if you see "tools > stop private browsing", possibly gray.
- You enter private browsing mode, if you select: Tools > Options > privacy > History: Firefox will be: "don't forget the story ever.
- To view the history settings and cookies, choose: Tools > Options > privacy, choose the Firefox will setting: use the custom settings for history

Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox/tools > Options > General > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.
