Automatic filling instructions say click on the Firefox button > Options, but this choice does not. where is he?

UPDATE: following instructions provided by cor - el; they worked. Thank you! Interestingly, after doing that once, choose 'Options' became visible and remained so.

Running Win7. Firefox instructions say:
"Prevent Firefox from storing form entries.
If you do not want Firefox to remember what you have entered in the form fields, you can turn off the automatic form fill feature:
1. at the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, and then click Options. [* There is NO other CHOICE 'OPTIONS', so it's impossible and the process can take place as described.*]
2. Select the Privacy panel.
3. set Firefox will: to use the custom settings for history.
4. remove the check mark from the box that says search and shape Remember history.
5. click OK to close the Options window. .

THE PROBLEM: in the order above, there is no choice 'Options', while the process can not be run as described.
How should I complete the process?

  • Press F10, or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.
  • Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "tools > Options" If the menu bar is hidden.
