  Check if the credentials Manager service is started and set to automatic.

  1. click the Start button, type services.msc and press ENTER.
  2. scroll down to the credentials manager, right-click on it and select Properties

  I have installation AutoLogon on my Windows 7 SP1 machine. If I restart the system, I am automatically connected to the account than I expected. If I logout, I am taken to the login screen with the other accounts on the box. I expect disconnection would work the same as restart. Is there a setting in the registry that is missing? Thank you

  I tried typing "reactivate", and it automatically corrected to 'disable '. Twice. Why? I say again, WHY? I tried to type a word which * is * a Word, in fact finally I was walking on a dictionary, he was there. • If I configure Windows XP for automatic logon, then I can't access with Remote Desktop in Windows 7.

  I think that this is normal, you cannot establish a remote desktop connection to a Windows XP computer when automatic login is enabled, I believe that this has been changed in Windows 7.
