• Automatically get new IP settings for the network adapter

  I have a home network with two computers Vista and I have a Vista laptop for work.  Where my work laptop is home it does not automatically connect to the internet, similarly if I want it.  When I go to network and sharing on laptop computer center it displays icons for the laptop, my home and internet network.  Threre is a X red between the network icon and the internet.  If I click on the red X a pop-up window indicates that Windows checks the problem.  Then a box will appear with several options, one if which is automatically "get new IP settings for the NIC 'Wireless Network Connection'.  When I click on a window pops up that says repair, and after a brief interval, she announced that the problem has been fixed, and it was fixed.

  How can I configure things so that she will do it automatically without this manual intervention.  There must be some way because I have never asked a password or permission to continue.

  If I turn off the laptop and then turn it back on a few moments later, the network connection is still there.  The problem occurs when I try again a few days later.

  Thanks for the reply.  I did it.

  I'm not sure it would fix the problem however, because the problem occurs after a day power off and power back up a few days later.  So presumably the power to the network adapter has been disable for power off intervals.

  Something happened tonight when I put under tension.  Asked me to confirm something on the network (unfortunately I can't remember what) and after that, I was connected to the internet - without having to go through the manual process described with my problem.  So maybe something has been reconfigured will correct the problem. • AnyConnect + timeout during automatic reconnection

  I have configured AnyConnect with network Trust detection and automatic reconnection.

  I have a problem with this use case:

  1. Users connect to AnyConnect with certificate
  2. When the 3G network is no longer available, AnyConnect tries to auto-reconnect
  3. After 30 minutes without network connectivity, users have this alert "your connection to the secure gateway has been suspended longer than the time limit. A new connection is necessary, which requires re-authentication.

  4. If the 3G network is available, TND detects that the network is not approved and connects automatically.

  The message in step 3 is unnecessary and users think they must connect manually. How can I remove this alert?

  I tried to put the "idle time-out" unlimited in group policy, but it doesn't change anything.

  Idle time-out is the correct setting. Two things could've gone wrong. You don't want not unlimited because without a maximum connection time, which means ghosts sessions would not be cleaned up. I propose a framework of 12-24 hours.  If it still does not respond, you applied probably this to the wrong group.

• Video plays automatically regardless of the settings

  In Firefox for Android running on Android 37.0.1 4.4.4, video plays automatically on the CNN Web site regardless of the settings.

  More precisely: in settings > display, I removed the check mark "Allow autoplay" and in settings > display > Plugins, I selected "Tap to play." However, the video plays automatically on the CNN Web site. I have this problem with Chrome for Android or the Dolphin browser.

  Hi, I have a vi that connects to a Bluetooth transceiver and collects and plots / stores incoming data. The connection is initiated by the user on the front panel.  However, sometimes LabVIEW gives me a connection error, sometimes it's once an hour, sometimes it's once every 24 hours, and I have to manually start the connection.  I was wondering if there is a way to design a vi that is always looking for a connection, so if the connection is lost it reconnects automatically.  I see that there is no sample Bluetooth screws that come with LabVIEW (2010), would one of these work?

  Whenever the router is turned off and turned on, the printer loses the configuration of the wireless network and I must choose the wireless network and re-enter the password.

  It seems to be all right with the wired Ethernet network which I use at the moment.

  What could I have done wrong to the wireless configuration?

  I guess that the printer cannot get the IP address of the DHCP server on the router after reset of the power.  So I try give it a static IP address.  I don't seem to be able to set a static IP address for configuring wireless on the printer either.

  Can you tell us what you have calls of " ""entering the unknown conferences or auto attendants" " " value in the settings > conferences?

  Looks like you have set up to "Create new ad hoc conference", which will give you the results you see when someone made up in the MCU by using the prefix and anything after that is not either the Conference Officer or active auto.

  Try to change to 'Default auto Standard' and see what happens.

  We have a PIX 515E and we have just implemented a few remote users. Everything has been working well, except that users have unreliable connections that often fall. When their ISP connection drops, they connect in the VPN client again.
