Automatic reconnection to a bluetooth device

Hello

I have a bluetooth device that communicates using port virtual com. When I reset the unit it disconnects - obviously. However, when the device is live * not reconnect.* I couldn't find an AutoFix * battery Toshiba Bluetooth for Windows v5.10.14FP1 * who * to automatically reconnect the device *. Is there a way?

Open "Settings Bluetooth" by a double-click on the Bluetooth system tray icon.
Select "Bluetooth-> Options...-> other-> COM Auto Connect settings-> activate the COM port required to reconnect."

There are some time I accidentally "forgot" a Bluetooth of my friends when they were connected to my phone.

I checked that my bluetooth works. (I am able to connect to my friends phone, and my headphones are also able to connect to my friends phone)

I read online messages from others with various other phones that have had the same problems and tried various solutions without success.

  • Automatic reconnection Plantronics 855 Bluetooth Pre

I'm having some trouble ensuring that the Plantronics 855 receives a signal from the Pre. Similar to the questions in my Acura TL hands free system. I find myself having to disable bluetooth on the Meadow, and then reactivating to operate. Also, sometimes I will need to turn off the 855 and then turn it back on as well. Have only had it for 2 weeks, so I did not yet understand the trend, but the marriage of pre and BT does seem to not yet be happy.

Anyone else have similar problems and / or answers to why this could happen?

Update: my pre was replaced because of the Oreo effect.  This solved all my problems BT with the 855 Plantronics, as with my Acura TL hands free system (except the end key on my wheel by placing the call on hold rather than hang up)!  Must have been a HW question with the original pre or associated firmware version.

  • To automatically reconnect Bluetooth

Hi, I have a vi that connects to a Bluetooth transceiver and collects and plots / stores incoming data. The connection is initiated by the user on the front panel.  However, sometimes LabVIEW gives me a connection error, sometimes it's once an hour, sometimes it's once every 24 hours, and I have to manually start the connection.  I was wondering if there is a way to design a vi that is always looking for a connection, so if the connection is lost it reconnects automatically.  I see that there is no sample Bluetooth screws that come with LabVIEW (2010), would one of these work?

    Hi baseball07,

The example of "Advanced Blueooth Server.vi" (go to help > examples > Search bluetooth and it should appear in the list) should be a good place to start. It shows how to connect to several headphones at the same time, using the listener to create function.

Thus, it shows how to use the Bluetooth to waiting on the listener function. In this example, VI, if you catch an error Connection Timed Out or connection closed, you stop the loop and close. You can change this so that if you receive this error message create you a flag to show that a shift has occurred, but rather to stop, continue the loop outside while Cook waiting for Bluetooth on the State of the listener. As long the device he always tries to connect, you should be able to reconnect automatically on the bluetooth device.

    I hope this helps!

  • Several similar Bluetooth devices

    Hi all

I'm curious to know if anyone has an effective way to manage several bluetooth on their iPhone, particularly similar bluetooth devices.  Here's my scenario specific household:

I have 3 Bose Soundwave mini in different areas around the House and bring with me to work, a living room stereo system using a logitech bluetooth receiver, stereo room bedroom using a similar receiver and a stereo in my backyard using the Roverbeats Unify bluetooth receiver and another in my garage with a similar Roverbeats receiver.

Often with receivers, my phone will connect to a receiver in the other room, although it is literally in front of the receiver, I want to associate.  I'm so often or having to choose between keeping the receivers do not use unplugged, by selecting "forget connection" on my iPhone every time and just rematching.  With the mini Bose I have not found a way to rename each different unit which is confusing, as they are all labelled the same in my list of Bluetooth connections (I am able to rename every single unit on my Macbook, but that will still be often confused and have connection problems, making me forget all connections with all minis just reconnect from scratch).  I have every Mini labeled with A/B/C, but do not have a way to differentiate one on my iPhone.

So, basically, I feel constantly forget liaison and/or keep some receivers unplugged.  Has anyone found any bluetooth utility function simplified to establish connections rename / prioritize?   I have an iPhone 5 9.3.2.

The name change you make on your computer just the fact it not on the device BT itself. Because there is no user controllable files management, there is no similar to iOS functionality. I don't know of any utility that will help you. The only thing I could suggest is turn off BT devices and turning them on only when you will contact them.

  • Y530 + Win 7 - no bluetooth device found

    Hello

My Y530 originally supplied with Vista, but I upgraded to 7 (as could get it for free from MSDN AA).

Bluetooth WORKED FINE with Vista, but now there is no way I can activate it. I downloaded and installed all the drivers Win 7 and the Lenovo Web site software (except driver BT, as it is said there is 'no bluetooth device detected' and I shoul turn it on). FN + F5 poster WiFi card only, also no BT in Control Panel device. What can I do?

PS. I'm starting to miss my old T41 where everything worked fine, just the way I needed. Y530 is full of annoying features (not to say 'stupid'), with Lenovo Power Management as the first of them :/

I use the 32-bit version of Windows 7.

Meanwhile, I managed to solve the problem. When I was running my laptop for the first time after bringing it in a store, I noticed that this lamp wireless was pink - which means that BT was active. So I went to the BIOS and brought back to the default settings, that works then BT., I started the system and it automatically installs the driver. To be sure that everything is compatible with the power management, I also installed Lenovo for the BT software. After that Fn + F5 shows the device and everything seems to work OK...
