  3. I find a sequence of several - staggered for re-registration of components to WU.  Attempt to regsvr32 mshtm.dll, that fails with mshtml.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.  The file cannot be saved.

  I hope someone here can point me in some direction that everything I've tried so far heading an impasse.

  I am trying to install the EMCC 12.1.0.4 on a virtual machine in Windows Server 2012 hosted on an ESXi server. Previously installed without getting updates completed without any problems. Because some features did not work properly, I decided to install once more and also get updates from Oracle. I followed the directions of advanced installation. The virtual machine has been reset to the stage before. So no installation is dirty.

  After getting updates and display the patches Oracle Setup calls a Windows saying that the installer will be restarted. But it's not. I waited and waited, but nothing happened.

  Newspapers shows the first steps after the restart and no other error. I tried several other approaches:

  In all cases the same behavior:

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

  When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system.   While probably not 100% necessary-, it is probably a good idea at this time to ensure that you continue to get the updates you need.  This will help you ensure that your system update is ready to do it for you.

  Download and run the MSRT tool manually:

  Download/install the latest program Windows installation (for your operating system):
