Autonomous creation of labview executable problems

Hello

I have a problem creating an executable with my labview project and I can't seem to make it work. The presentation of the project looks like this.

but when I'm building the executable file of the Application Builder, it does not run the LabVIEW VI. However, it does not use the functions (from what I can tell) the DLL or the ChrApi.lvlib, because it does not activate the tests that these libraries are responsible for dedicated... any advice would be appreciated.

Check that the DLL calls in the vis.  If the ' name of the library or the path "contains a path, the Builder app will copy the DLL to the destination of the building and the executable will this copy.  If the "library name or path" contains only a name and not a path, then the DLL will be not be copied by the constructor of the app, and when the executable is run, it will ask the OS to find the DLL.

    All,

I built a labview executable that interacts with the GPIB and the Texas Instruments EV2300 via USB.

The VI works beautifully on the development computer and I built the VI in an executable file and it works fine on the development computer.  So, I built a Setup program that installs running Labview 2010 on the target computer.  I ran the Setup program on a computer on the production line I know can run GPIB and the EV2300, but when I try to run the executable I get an error that says: ""(votre demande) has encountered an error and needs to close.""

I can get labview executables that do not speak of GPIB or USB to run on the target computer, then it is not the execution environment.  And I VB6 applications that can run EV2300 and GPIB interfaces smoothly.

I don't do anything weird with the paths to files in my program, only the creation of the railways using the VI canned to convert strings into paths.  Under the program, I've read some text files and write a.

Is there anything that I need to know how to build an application with an installer?  I need to get up and running so the test program can work on a production line.

  • Run LabVIEW executable in Windows 7

Can I run an executable of Labview created with Labview 8.6(32-bit) in windows 7 or Vista. If this can be done then how? I tried to copy the lvrt.dll (runtime engine) in the system 32 folder, but it is not solved my problem. FYI, my Labview exe file also include the fuzzy logic toolkit.

Hope someone will help me. Thank you.

  • LabVIEW executable with my VirtualBench

    Hello

    32-bit Teststand 2014

    32-bit Labview 2015.

    VirtualBench model NI VB-8012

I created a Labview VI using the screws of VirtualBench. This VI takes a measure of voltage with the DMM.

I created a file of sequence in Teststand. This file of sequence called the VI as the limit of Test to verify if the measure is included.

I created a Labview graphical user interface, which calls the sequence file.

I'm able to run my VI, sequence and GUI. It all works and I am able to make my measurement of the tension of the VirtualBench.

Now, I want to make an executable for the end user. I have trouble with the VirtualBench during an executable. I created a project in labview and my GUI with the llb GUI has been added to the project. I built my executable and tried to run. The tracks of MISTLETOE, however, once I click on start to run my sequence file, I am prompted with an error (see attachment). The VI VirtualBench works normally, but not as an executable... Please help.

    Thank you

After working with the support OR an answer has been found.

I finished my executable running in debug mode. While the code worked, I was able to get an ERR(-17600) to my attached error message error code. They gave me the link below to try to solve my problem and it worked.

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/9C9EE3A6F7695AB9862578F0006CBF0E

    Solution:
Follow these steps to correct the error-17600 (sometimes the error-18002)

    1. Once you have generated your personalized user interface, TestExec.exe, open the project file in the LabVIEW Project Explorer and right click on the .exe file.
    2. Click Properties in the context window that appears.
    3. Click on the category of settings of the Source file on the left.
    4. Click any screws that you have added to the original project (under project at downtown records) and check the box to Rename this file during the generation and the beginning of the text add "UI_".
    5. Under project files, and then click the option of dependencies .
    6. Check the box to apply the prefix for all content items and add "UI_" in the text box.
    7. Build the project.

Thank you all for your time and help

  • External DMM communicates only with the LabVIEW executables

    Hello

I currently have a system of power supplies connected with GPIB and an Agilent E34405A DMM connected via USB.  The system works fine when I use the complete Labview program, but when I make an executable and installler and put it on another machine, that I can not get the DMM communicate the work of supplies of power very well and done my other equipment.  Any thoughts?

If your program LabVIEW use NI-VISA, you need to charge NI-VISA run-time on the target computer.

  • reinstall of LabVIEW 2010 problem

    Hi all. I'm new here.

I hope that you all can help me regarding a problem installing labview. I have attached a few screen shot for the error has occurred. The main problem is I'm using the same labview installation program to install the labview to my personal work from the laptop and it is, but when I install in my CPU business, he gave me a lot of mistakes. In addition, I had put out all the wall of fire to window, but it's still cant work.

    Information on my situation:

I made this my CPU company relocation is because the previous program installed labview had corrupted. So, I completely uninstalled all the labview program and reinstall it now. However, I am faced with errors shown in the photos. If I'm not mistaken, the previous version of labview installed is identical to the version that I install the CPU now.

You can uninstall all modules of NOR and do a reinstall. In general, I usually like starting a new installation of Windows (or go back to a clean restore point Windows) when this kind of problem occurs.

  • LabVIEW graphical problems

I have fixed this problem in the past, but not fitted with a filter. When I run my VI the graphic polts my data from right to left. How can I change to draw from left to right? I tried to change the entries in table without result. Any suggestions? I'm fairly certain that it is an easy solution, but with my limited knowledge of LabVIEW I run out of ideas for patches. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Change the property of the x-axis in "reverse".

  • Wiring of connectors in LabVIEW 2011 problems

I've just been 'bitten again"by a wiring problem with a connector for a VI in LabVIEW 2011 (I've not seen this behavior in any previous version of LabVIEW to 7.0).

The question is this.  I (or one of my colleagues, who also noted it), run LabVIEW 2011 (August 2011 release), 32 - bit, Windows 7, 64-bit systems.  I have create a VI using the usual 4-2-2-4 connector of mires and connect the appropriate connector.  I save the VI, then drop it on a block diagram to use.

In another variation of this problem, the VI has fallen don't watch any connector or, if used to 'replace' an existing wired in VI with the same model of connector, "break" all the sons (because it has no connector when dropped on the diagram).  Reopen and reconsider the VI show that, indeed, the connectors are wired, but when I use the VI, the connector wiring is absent (the VI dropped watch without connectors).

In the second variant, all right, the connectors appear as expected.  But I then decide to move a connector.  I have open the VI to edit, make a cut of this Terminal and rewire to its new location.  The connector pane presents the new model.  But when I drop the VI on a block diagram, the connector is in its original location.

Restart LabVIEW, indeed restart the PC, does not change.  The only way to 'fix' this is to disconnect all terminals and a reconnect them.  A nuisance, to say the least, but also an obvious bug.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere?  I sent to OR, but it would be useful to know 'is it just me?' or not.  In my defense, I've seen this problem on several computers, all win 7/LabVIEW 2011.  I've also seen this with several LabVIEW projects.

I've attached a file with such a VI "buggy".  When you open it, you will see that the 'Length' indicator is wired to the top of the connector set page.  When I drop this VI on a new VI, however, the connector indicates coming out from the bottom!

    BS

I was told by an engineer NOR that this problem (a) is real and (b) has been fixed in SP1 release (spring) 2011 LabVIEW.  I have not had a chance to check this point, but (the trusting soul that I am), I consider that this problem has been a "Bug in LabVIEW 2011 that has been fixed in the SP1 Release"and therefore, I am prepared to mark this "resolved".

I use MS Access 2010 and 2012 of Labview. When I'm under vi of Create table and insert a column, but I get a repetitive mistake that is shown in the images.

Please help me solve this problem.

If the memories are good, you must have the names of column in parentheses if you use spaces [DUT] [document Test/result] and so on.

  • LabVIEW installation problem

    Hi all

I have created an installer in labview(). When I tested it in labview PC pre-installed. It works very well. But when I try it in a fresh PC. I created the installer by adding runtime, max and visa toolkit or.

When I try to run the exe, it displays error "the program can't start because cvirte.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. »

When I tried this website nor is show labwindow/CVI. I have has not used in this application.

Please suggest to solve this problem

Are you absolutely sure that the CVI runtime engine is not used by all components of your program? Maybe it's some libraries that you use, although I would say that this situation is more typical for TestStand, not for LabVIEW. Try to include some cvi runtime in your Installer and see what happens.

  • LabVIEW FPGA: Problem compiling look-up Table

    Current versions of software:

    LabVIEW 2014 SP1

    LabVIEW FPGA 2014

    Xilinx Vivado

I'm having a huge problem in trying to compile my LabVIEW FPGA code.

    Some recall of the code:

    It's all in a SCTL.

I am streaming in a FIFO DMA and comparing it with the values previously stored in the shift registers (which are initialized to 0 at the start of the loop) in the SCTL.

The results of the comparison are then piled into a U16 and loaded into a lookup table (I use the LUT - 1 d), and I'm so help this LUT to decide what value will be charged to travel to record for the next iteration of the loop, which, in any case, would be either the current values of the flow, or the post previous registry value.

    (It's a triage loop)

I am able to run very well in simulation mode code, but when I try to compile, I get this error:

"The selected object has a built-in shift register that makes the output on a particular loop iteration correspond to the entries in the previous iteration."

Connect the outputs of the object directly to a minimum number of nodes of Feedback or uninitialized shift registers. You cannot connect the outputs to another object.

See using LabVIEW for more information on the objects with registers embedded offset. »

Someone at - it ideas why this happens, and what might be the possible solutions?

I'm tempted to break it down into separate loops, but I prefer not to because it is now a loop (and working in my simulation).

    I found my problem.

Any time that a LUT is in a chain shift register, it cannot:

    1. be part of a string of shift register that has a variable initialized

    2. follow-up to no decisive structure, like a box structure.

I just moved the position of LUT and it works.

  • LabVIEW executable not feasible using the asynchronous call

    Hello

my project works very well from the source, but fails to run as an executable file. I was able to follow him to the asynchronous call of a VI.

So far, I was able to solve the problem by using a queue dummy and loops in order to start the VI parallel to the rest of the code.

    I tried:

    1 mass recompile

    2. build the source distribution, remove existing build, create new

3 allways include reminder all screws and all the screws called by reference via Server

Always without success. I tried to hide the forum to find answers, but only found suggestion I already tried fail. Help, please

    So problem solved...

    Now it works.

But I can't understand why and what was the problem.

  • LabVIEW graphical problem

It is probably a very stupid question, but I tried for a few hours to avoid to ask this on the forum.

I have attached a screenshot of a graph and table in my VI in LabView. Both receive the same data in a file hard file saved another VI data capture. The graph represents correctly the data, while the table of cluster data in a cycle in a slice of time instead of 'paint' it correctly over time.

Can someone help me? I must be missing some time that me is featured in the face!  Thank you, Bill

    Solved the problem!

Added a convert from data Dynamics table 1 d of scalers and return to dynamic data. Now, I get the good wavepattern as expected.

    See the attached diagram.

  • Labview Remote problem

    Hello!

I have a NI USB DAQ of 6341 who assume to control a horse trough PMT and LED Labview 2010.

But, Labview is not installed in my PC, I use it remotely from the University and I am facing problem to use DAQmx (version 9.3.5) in Labview.

What I want to know is how to make my remote Labview for data acquisition in my computer.

I guess it's a very simple question, but after hours trying to find a solution, I decided to ask the experts...

    Thank you!

    Hello RadGent,

This solution will not work in your case.

However with NOR-DAQmx 8.0 and later, NOR-DAQmx OPC features can be used to obtain the features of reliable network of remote systems.
GDR (as mentioned in the document you provided) is not supported in NOR-DAQmx.

You can try something like this:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/3742

The best and the most simple of measures to be taken would be to install the software locally, especially because you are working with a USB device.

Goes on ethernet, at University, then return in the same pc to connect to the DAQ card would seriously increase the latency of the system.

  • disable the autorun on the labview executables feature * has not been resolved *.

Try to turn off the feature that automatically starts your executable when open labview. I know I could create a start button and all that jazz, but I prefer to disable this feature if possible.

You cannot disable this 'feature' because this isn't how applications work. An application will run as soon as it is opened. Your web browser is waiting for you press start until she starts running? This is how it works. If you do not the VI to begin its work as soon as you launch the application then you must put in a State of "rest" as soon as it runs and it will stay there until the user presses a button 'start '. I suggest you look in a state machine design. http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/3024
