Available for blackBerry Smartphones devices

App World, how do I:

1. get rid of an old device

2. Add a new device

Yes, and as I said, on the new device, if you connect to this existing account of AW, it will do exactly what you want.

BBID/AW account can have that only one BB (at the time) associated with him... and the Act of registration on the account BBID/AW, the BB itself, which shifts away the old BB account registration information and more news.

Indeed, since there is no record of the purchase, what is the point of all this anyway? With no record of the purchase, he would have no problem with just create a new account BBID/AW for this new BB and all just give up the old man a (unless, of course, you want to use the same e-mail address for the account registration, whereby cases that should not be shifted).

Perhaps you need to describe in more detail, exactly what you see, and exactly where you see. For example, if you are just looking to AW via PC/browser interface, please go to AW interface on the device. It is located on this new device, within the interface BBID/AW, you need to connect to this existing AW account.

Maybe, I'm not quite understanding your situation...

Thank you and let us know!

Can I buy for my Curve 8520 newly gifted GSP? And what other useful applications should I look for? I'm 81, retired and nothing else to do but to be thrilled by the possibilities of this wonderful instrument.

See this page of product specifications:

The 8520 has no internal GPS radio physics no software can overcome this physical limitation. You be relegated outside devices only, connected either via USB or BT, they are on the market, but I have no idea which are compatible with your specific model BB. You should look in GPS units that you like and then inquire of these manufacturers, if they are compatible with your BB.

It is a difficult question... "useful" is a personal and subjective thing. I suggest you install AppWorld and browse here to see what would be useful to your different needs, desires and tastes.

I also suggest that spend you some time at this place:

Good luck and welcome to the world of BB!

  • Applications for blackBerry Smartphones available for Curve 9360 - what URL can they be addressed via a PC?

I can't find a page where I can see comfortably, on my PC, the applications available for BB Curve 9360 on the BB site.

(From p. \Apps home I get to a list of devices, where I find the curve, but when I click it, I sent again to the homepage!)

    Hello

If, by 'apps', you mean these natively included in OS package, while it's complicated... There are a variety of basic applications, but each company is free to "Pack" the package of core OS with their network-specific things or they chose to push their customers.

If, by 'apps', you hear the module and 3rd party applications that the user chooses to download, then there are a variety of resources:

Each of them works differently, so it is quite difficult to provide detailed instructions for each.

    Good luck!

  • Not available for download from Blackberry App World for blackBerry Smartphones

I had period Deluxe on my 8330 and when I recently spent the 8530 I get this message "Period Deluxe is not available for download from Blackberry App World." when I tried to reinstall the application. I pulled the battery and it still does not work. I even tried to take the app from my 8330 through the phone on Blackberry Desktop switch option, but it still does not work.

I have the Blackberry App world, with my new phone, so I can not image what could be the problem.

The app is for all devices and I have 5.0 on my phone. All my other apps switched very well. I contacted the company that created the application, but they have been a great help because I did not have my proof of purchase by e-mail and have only the email with the code acitivation.

I have boost mobile are limited things on what I can and cannot remove.

The company finally gave me a new code of the application after a few emails back. This still does not resolve why Blackberry App world gave me the message saying that it was not available for download yet showed in my world as uninstalled and in their research.

  • Storage of applications for blackBerry Smartphones

Hey everyone... I use my 9790 bold, he repeats to me my memory to applications is 512 MB internal memory of the phone's 8 GB! So is there anyway to increase this limited storage for applications? In addition, this space does not increase if I use an external MicroSD memory?

    Hello...

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and fixed (size: 512 MB in your case) space that is available to the House of the OS itself, as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media- is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software

On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

    Good luck!

    Thank you

No, as I said, they are available in Android apps which you call is able to run for the right amount of.
You will need to get them on an Android App store, there is a good app called Snap specially written to help with this...

  • Applications for blackBerry Smartphones does not

I've been upgraded to version 6 on my 9300 curve but when I downloaded a few applications, they do not work.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

A little sparse on the details... "they don't work" could mean that they launch, they communicate, or a myriad of other possible symptoms. Accurate description of what you're trying and that happens helps us not to guess.

But, since you have left to guess, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. I hope that will move things again for you! Good luck and let us know!
