Average channel on a specific window

Looking to find the way to a specific window of a channel. I need it to be something that can be plugged into a loop, because I'll be caclulating on all channels (150 +). Using the block function stat Gets a little bit hairy if you try to put in a loop.

This is my current code, I would use the average 98001-100001, store in R4 variable points, then connect a free move to shift.

Dim iLoopOG, iLoopO, R4
ILoopOG = 1 to GroupCount
ILoopO = 2-GroupChnCount (iLoopOG)
R4 = * looking for a line here to calculate the average window *.
Call ChnOffset ("[" & iLoopOG & "] / [" & iLoopO & "]","[" & iLoopOG & "] / [" & iLoopO & "" '] ", - R4,"free shift")
Next
Next

Hello Tamer,

This will make the statistics part of selection a bit shorter:

I have Sun
For i = 1 to 23
StatSel (i) = 'No '.
Next
StatSel (6) = 'Yes '.
StatResChn = 0
StatClipCopy = 0

Call StatBlockCalc ("Channel", "98001-100001", "" [1] / [2]'-' [1] / ["& GroupChnCount (1) &"]'")

Other variables should not be necessary, because they are dependent on the StatResChn and StatClipCopy is true, that they shouldn't be in your use case.

Hope that helps a little,

Otmar

  • Can we average channel error using multiple channels to measure the same voltage?

I don't know how correlated error terms are between measuring channels max, but it occurred to me that, if they were relatively independent, I might be able to sample the signal even with several channels and increase accuracy.

For example, rather than measure a voltage with an AI only at 100 kHz, I could connect up to 10 different lines to HAVE the signal, sample to 10 kHz on each line.  This should allow to reach me on average some of the error associated with each channel (, or so I think).

Can someone speak definitively to this?

    Thank you

    Sean

Well, if you are using a MULTIPLEXED Board (everything is not specced for simultaneous sampling) then each channel is connected to the ADC even one after the other, best that you would be able to do is extremely, extremely small variations into the paths of each channel of the multiplexer.  This would still be massively overshadowed by the inherent noise from the system and the accuracy of the device.

Your best bets to reduce the measurement error is to oversample in one way to reduce the effects of noise and to calibrate the unit before starting each test to keep variations of temperature.  In addition, make sure you keep your calibrated Board (most of the boards have a calibration 1 year of the cycle).

For some applications, you should also consult wiring field and considerations of noise for analog signals, How to eliminate ghosting of my measurements? and Troubleshooting unexpected tensions, floating or crosstalk on Analog Input Channels to better account for ghosting and the issues of the hour.

  • Where to go to set the channel missing from the Windows Media Center Program Guide

    Hi people,

Hoping that someone like Barb Bowman (or a person with any with any part of the Windows Media Center team still it exists) can help me with this.  I'm missing a channel in my programming.  His 668 (Discovery HD) channel, and my program guide is for Seattle, Comcast King County South (digital). I spoke with Comcast, with Ceton Corp (manufacturing of my digital cable tuner card) and with Zap2it (info guide provider program for WMC).  All of them confirm what a) 668 is in my registration, b) 668 is tunable my card, and c) 668 announces are included in the current program guide data from Zap2it.  My data to guide program is also completely updated according to WMC. Zap2it has suggested that I use this site to submit the question to Microsoft:

  • A channel works only in Windows Media Center

Original title: Windows Media Center help
I have a TV tuner card installed on my PC and was seen no problem pulling in all my OTA channels in my area of Minneapolis/St. Paul MN.  Now a channel does not work it's affiliate Fox 9.1.  9.2 works fine and all my other channels.  9.1 works very well on my other two TVs connected to the same antenna.  I wonder if there is a setting or something that could help me with this problem.  Thank you.

    Hello

I'll also have a very similar problem.  Using OTA in cleveland, oh and the same error message, even if I have a problem with 19.1 (CBS) but 19.2 is fine as well as all my other stations.  I have my pc connected to a plasma tv and if I change its entry for antenna 19.1 comes to the fine and they are both connected to the same antenna.  I deleted and re-analyzed for channels and 19.1 is here and checking of its green signal strength but no picture.  I also tried to uninstall/reinstall the (aver Duo media) tv tuner driver nothing works.  This is a recent problem that this system has been since win7 is released and this channel has always worked. If you have found a solution, could you please post.

    UPDATE

OK, I found a solution that worked for me, its the site of hack7mc. http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/09/clearing-Guide-data-and-tuner-Setup-from-Windows-7-Media-Center.html.  I didn't know all the services they have highlighted but I stop those who ran, deleted the db for the guide data and restarted. Once back at the CCM reran the live tv Setup and everything worked. I hope this helps.

  • Several specific windows occur at random.

I met several pop - ups on a regular basis. Not only they redirect me by clicking on the links, they can appear click anywhere. I have links related to Star Trek, Fire Fox, & Flash more often. I uninstalled Fire Fox and it deleted all related records, that I could find, as well as registry entries and I have run virus/spyware scans, but they never stop. I always run Ad Block Plus, as well. This handful of ads are the only ones, it doesn't seem to detect.

It sounds like ad-ware. This scan you have tried?

You may have ad / bad-ware. More information can be found in the article troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware .

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If a single

  • 6008 USB channel power for specific times

    Hello

I am new to Labview, so I don't know if it's easy or hard to do.

I have an attached VI who writes exits Digital 12-channel.

What I´d wants to be able to write each channel for a specified time (avoiding the is fine - it doesn´t have to be super accurate, but he needs to turn off automatically after a certain time).

    For example:

When I click, channel 1, I want him to be for 1 second, then turn automatically cut and wait for the next command.

When I click, channel 2, I want it turn on for 0.5 seconds, before turning automatically turn off and wait for the next command.

When I click, channel 3, I want him to be for 5 seconds, then turn automatically cut and wait for the next command.

    etc.

So when I click Run, I could click on channel 1, wait a few seconds, channel 1 still once, wait a minute, then channel 3, wait 10 minutes, then channel 2, etc, in any order.

Is how easy it to do? Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

If you want to set the time separately, my guess is it would be easier for you to create the channels separately. It's more manual work, but I think it's better to come up with an algorithm of time-supervision to all channels at once.

To trigger the output, I think that it is better to share entries, then perhaps it would be good to get out them of the matrix as well.

In a loop, you can check the value of the button and then just write 1 to the port, wait for the timeout with time delay vi, then wrtie 0 again.

If you create tasks separately and do not merge error, the process for each channel will work in parallel, so a delay will not affect the actions of the other channel.

    Kind regards

    Mariana.

  • How select specific channels attached to specific 'create virtual channel '.

    Dear user of LabView,

I did a program of acquiring data of an LVDT, a forcecell and a strain gauge. I did so that I can add multiple LVDT and several gauges... So we can task 1 voltage and task 1 strain, but also multiple tasks of tension and the multiple tasks of strain...

The problem is now I want to show these data on 3 different graphics, each task would have its own chart. But unfortunately I'm not able to choose which chart should show which task. I tried to do it with the index, it went good for when I had 1 each connected sensor, but when I joined an additional LVDT Sensor, so an additional channel, the sequence of my graphics moved to the top and there were only 3 channels appear instead of 4. I wanted to show the data from the sensors LVDT 2 1 graphic, and another chart for the forcecell and one for the strain.

Is there a possibility to filter the tasks so that I can choose on which graphic task should work?

    I joined my program.

    With sincere friendships.

  • The power spectral density function counts inaccurate amplitude caused by the window function?

I'm new to this forum, so please let me know if this would correspond better to a different discussion forum.

    Here's the question:

I would like to know if the power spectral density function ("FFT PSD for 1 Channel.vi") automatically compensates for the loss of the amplitude of entry caused by the window function.  In other words, is a specific window correction factor applied within the PSD vi or do I apply manually?

    Details of the background:

I tried to answer the question myself by generating a sine wave sampling, it as it is periodic in record time (i.e. 0 to each end of recording time).  The frequency of the sine wave was such that the frequency would exactly correspond to a spectral line in the PSD.  Then I generated the PSD of the sine wave twice: once using a Hanning window and once using a rectangular window (not on average in both cases).  The rectangular extent of the PSD with windows to the frequency of the sine wave is 1.5 times the size of the PSD with a Hanning window applied.

The experience above indicated to me that a manual setting of the PSD output for the function of window was necessary, however, I repeated the above experiment using random vibration data and does not clear 1.5 x factor.  I have also been informed by his colleagues that the PSD should set for the window function.

    Thank you for your comments.

Spectral leakage.  When you use a finished sample data from the spectrum resulting is the convolution of the spectrum of the signal as if it extended indefinitely in time with the spectrum of the window.  Even if you do not use a window function, you actually have a rectangular window the same width as the sample size.

Draw out of the VI PSD with all style of trace to show points to the data points. Turn off Auto scale on the X axis, and expand the graph around your pic. Look at the results of different windows.  In any case, there are several values non-null.  With actual sampled data of limited duration, you will never get the idealized line spectrum.

If summarize you the output spectral value remains close to 3.2 for all windows.

  • Manager display Dell cannot see the second monitor in Windows 10

I have Dell monitors: a U2515H and a U2413. In Windows 7, Manager display has a drop down at the top allowing me to select each monitor. In Windows 19 (that I just installed), he went, I can change only brightness to one of my monitors.

I downloaded the latest version from here but no difference (in fact he told me that my current version is more recent).

Y at - it a software update in the works, or any manual fix I can do?

DDM requires more than a simple detection of the monitor - it requires a reliable * two-way * communication channel on the screen, where simply display something on the screen requires only a one-way link. If you check the DDM diagnostic log when you have a failed DP1.2 Garland, I think you'll find both monitors are detected, but we have a specific Windows error message that came through the display driver. The culprit will probably be of the 1st generation U2413.  This cannot be fixed by an update of the MDD.

Given that monitors DP1.2 1st generation have experienced problems with the DDC/CI, one thing to try is changing the physical configuration.

-Connect the U2515 directly on the map of AMD, and * allow * DP1.2 in the OSD U2515

-Connect the U2413 to the U2515, and * disable * DP1.2 in the OSD U2413.

  • lost sound for a channel of tv media Center in vista

    Hello world
Have had my cable is split into a TV and my computer.  My computer using Vista and is updated.  This Setup has worked well over the years.  A few weeks ago a tv in media center channel lost his.  All other channels are fine.  My TV has sound for all channels.  I replaced the splitter and still the same problem.  I think media center units must be reloaded in my computer.  This problem can be corrected by removing and reloaded in my computer?  Or is there another place I have difficulty?
    Thank you

    Hi 01starsky,

    Cause of this problem

This problem occurs because the Media Center always tries to play an (Arc consistency #3 algorithm) AC3 (Dolby Digital 5.1) audio stream that is present in a show. The AC3 audio stream offers the best quality audio experience. Some stations broadcast the required primary stereo stream and the AC3 audio stream option. If Media Center detects that an AC3 stream is available in the broadcast, Media Center selects that available stream. Some broadcasters may broadcast empty or muted AC3 stream. So, if a broadcast contains an AC3 stream, but no audio is present, Media Center has no sound for that specific channel.

Currently, Windows Vista doesn't have an option to force Media Center to use the main audio stream when a muted AC3 stream is present. However, you can contact the broadcaster and report the muted AC3 stream.

    Reference:

When you use Media Center to watch live TV on a Windows Vista-based computer, you can't always hear the sound
