  I'm trying to migrate from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom.  I have posted elsewhere on some frustration, I had in this process, in particular related to the cluttered interface and stop scrolling experience.  I was able to solve almost all problems (for example using lights out helps me to solve the jumble of interface, and I improved the scrolling experience manually create previews and by moving the catalog and previews a SSD).  Still an insidious problem.

  Open preferences > general and check Interpolation of the Image , I guess you have bicubic, but whatever it was set to the value, try neighbor closer, or Bicubic Sharper.

  Photos appear often blurred in the viewer while playing a movie in the timeline.  It is simply because iMovie is to reduce the resolution to limit the processing power required to play without lag.  It becomes clearer when you stop playing.  This does not affect the quality of the shared movies.
