AWM 10 g required for oracle 10g DB.

Hi all

I installed oracle database 10g Enterprise edition. I need AWM 10 g for the definition of Cubes and dimensions.
I found no MN 10g in Oracle's OTN web site. Pls guide me where to find it.

concerning
Chandra Khalil.

You can also download the latest version of 11g of mn and simply choose
type 10g when the connection and connect to the instance of database cube.
The type of cube of 10g of AwM 11 g provides exactly the same functionality that
the latest version of 10g of AwM.

  • Where to place the folder forms and reports for oracle 10g on Linux server

    Hello...

    Currently, iam has a migration to oracle 10g module.
    All my modules which consists of form and report files are inside a
    folder named PROJECT and placed in C:\ in windows server.
    So when I want to call a form or a report I used the path as "C:\PROJECT\module_name\form_name.fmx."
    My client now wants her project to be used in the LINUX-based server.

    Now, I want to know where I should put my form project file and file reports
    and how I should call them...

    Thanks in advance

    Can you say how can I call reports as u said hardcode the path when the report is not a good practice.

    I agree with Dhiraj Madan, paths of coding is a very bad idea, your application has become non-portable.

    For FORMS_PATH, you can use default.env, as already said (or .env, if applicable).

    The same can be done for REPORTS_PATH, using the reports.sh script, in $ORACLE_HOME/bin.

  • Info on Earphone for oracle 10g and 11g installed on systm unique

    Hello

    I installed oracle 10g n 11g on my system. I have question regarding oracle listening port.

    Oracle 10g, Listener.ora

    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = kankala.kalyan) (PORT = 1521))
    )
    )

    Oracle 11g, Listener.ora

    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1522))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (PORT = 1522))(HOST = kankala.kalyan))
    )
    )

    My question is why the names of the listener are same even if your are on different ports?

    and for disturbing people, why I installed 10 n 11 is
    Initially only oracle 11g has been installed on my system. Later, I learned for the first time forms and I have to connect to the database frm developer suite 10 g. so I installed oracle 10 g database.

    The names are the same, because this is the way which you created them.

    If you want to make a change to use NETCA to delete and recreate one of them.

    Just make sure that you have set ORACLE_HOME properly until you do.

    Both Oracle 10 g 2 and 11g RAC are supported for RedHat Enterprise 5 on versions 32 and 64 bit. It's really some information that should be available outside metalink (for people like you who are not yet customers).

  • Minimum RAM required for the installation of Oracle

    As I am about to install Oracle 10 g on your laptop with 2 GB of RAM (PC is empty), I would like to know if 2 GB is enough. I ask because the Oracle documentation search, I noticed (maybe I'm wrong) for Oracle 10g, it is advisable to 1 GB minimum, 4 GB recommended while for Oracle 11 g, he advised 512 MB minimum, 1 GB recommended.
    However, even according to your experiences, are 2 GB RAM enough to work? I remind you that I just have to work for junior DBA training activities and so my laptop will not be a real server for Federatzion a large amount of data.
    I'll install this way Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle Developer Suite 10 g (forms and reports) and APEX which should be ' ' light enough.

  • Question about Solaris x 86 required packages for Oracle 10 g 2

    Hope someone could help me please:

    In the quick setup guide, it lists those pacakges required for Oracle 10 g on Solaris x 86 2:

    SUNWarc
    SUNWbtool
    SUNWhea
    SUNWlibm
    SUNWlibms
    SUNWsprot
    SUNWtoo
    SUNWi1of
    SUNWi1cs
    SUNWi15cs
    SUNWxwfnt

    but then, the code example to check the existing packages says:

    # pkginfo-i SUNWarc SUNWbtool SUNWhea SUNWlibm------SUNWlibms SUNWsprot SUNWtoo SUNWi1of SUNWsprox.
    SUNWi1cs SUNWi15cs SUNWxwfnt

    Is there a reason that SUNWsprox appears in the code example, but not in the list above?

    Just curious!

    Thanks buckets
    DTXCF

    If you run 10 ground then you don't need to have installed as SUNWsprox has been replaced by SUNWsprot of SUNWsprox.
