AWM rejected documents defining

Hello

I know that I should obtain a number of rejected files while loading one of my cubes, but in mn after obtaining 100 of them, the load stops.
I know how to change the maximum number of records rejected in sql, but awm always starts the load with the evolution of this number to 100. How to avoid or set another number to use as registration number rejected max? I know there must be somewhere...

Thank you for your help :)

Hello

What version of AWM do you use? If you use 11.2.0.1A (available here:-http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/options/olap/olap-downloads-098860.html) there is an option under the tools-> configuration menu option.

If you are using an older version, then I think you need to upgrade your version of AWM to achieve this functionality

Thank you

• Is it possible to get a document imaging metadata standard (like dDocId, dDocName etc.) to switch to the BPEL workflow?

Environment : Webcenter 11.1.1.8.0

Requirement : need to make a call from RIDC of BPEL with Java embedding inside workflow.

Use case :

1. The ODC, scans a document and commits to IPM with metadata in the document.
2. A user will be notified of this validation using a BPEL process.
3. If the user refuses this document, I need to remove the document content server.

My questions are :

1. How to get standard metadata of the document in IPM to move to a BPEL process to call an RIDC from there? (with Java Embedding inside).
2. We can remove a document from the system, on which the workflow is triggered? Side effects due to this deletion?

Any suggestions is greatly useful.

Thank you

Abhishek K

This deletion causes a negative effect?

Technically, it should not cause any negative effect, but in my experience, a rejected document is not deleted as the first choice - well instead, a rejection could trigger a branch in the process or to provide additional details, correct bad numbers (possibly with a new revision), etc.

Note that a document usually triggers a business process, so it would be good to put an end to this process in a graceful way.

• Where can I design my documents to be used for DPS?

Hello. I use Indesign CC and DPS on a Mac and want to create a publication of the simple edition for iPad. What I leave me puzzled, it's where actually put together the graphics and text to my docs Indesign that I'll use to make items.

(1) I looked at the Adobe 'Create your folio edition single' video tutorial (here) that shows how create a new document and define the intent for digital publishing that creates a page ipad 1024 x 768. It is on this 'model' that I have add my text and graphics or do I have to design them before hand in the form of separate documents?

(2) if I want to create vertical and horizontal for the same document when I create a new document with the intention for the digital edition, it only allows me to create one or the other. Yet in the video tutorial, the Evangelist has both a horizontal and vertical layout in the same document. How can I do this?

(3), lets say I have 100 pages for my application, can I create 100 of these new documents defined with the intention for the digital edition?

(4) the video also illustrates the use of two images for the cover - cover images are dealt with in isolation article pages?

(5) also is it possible to create a folio with a direction and then later to add the second guideline?

Thank you

1. Yes, you add your text and graphics to this page.

2 Bob probably will chime on this one, but unless you have a REALLY REALLY REALLY convincing to reason to create both orientations, you should take just one. Do two directions double your design services work very little drive.

If you can not necessarily be convinced only to guidance so you can either make separate horizontal and vertical InDesign files, or you can use the functionality of other InDesign layouts to get what you saw in the video. But you want really, because a HUGE amount of work to the advantage of very few player support both orientations

3. maybe. If you only want to allow the reader to navigate between the pages by swiping left and right (i.e. you don't want all the places where they can slide up and down to see the content), then you can make a single InDesign document with 100 pages, and when you add that the InDesign document to your folio in Panel of Folio Builder you can select the 'Horizontal Swipe' option only

4. these covers does not apply to you, you make a request for editing simple. You will need to integrate them, but they will not appear anywhere. They are just PNG files.

5 n ° you have to decide from the outset.

• If I use Thunderbird, is the Mall located some place other than my desktop on a server? Or is it automatically downloaded on my PC? ?

I am limited on my data monthly allowance and do not want to use up my data on mail I don't want to see.

Thanks in advance, baud rate

Thunderbird is an email client installed on your computer. The only affected servers are those that you already use. I say this because some users seem to expect Thunderbird to offer its own server.

The only way to see e-mail is downloading it, then ultimately, I do not know how you would address messages, you think you want to see. How can you know what came in that you don't want to see?

In your case, you can configure Thunderbird to download headers only, reducing the amount of traffic. You can then delete what you don't need to see in its entirety and choose to download the full text only valuable messages. But I see this (Fetch headers 'only') option in the settings for accounts POP-connected, so you should take care to replace the default Thunderbird IMAP selection when it is offered. (Note: IMAP really wants and works best with a permanent connection, so is inherently unsuited to a situation where you try to minimize the consumption of bandwidth.)

Another approach is to check whether the filters provided by your email provider and running on the server, can be used to throw, or at least filing out of sight, "spam", so they don't even get offered to your e-mail client. But anyone who has ever tried to filter the spam won't know how it is important to identify spam. If you have a small 'white list' favored shippers and all the rest can treat as unwanted, then filters should be feasible. But you have to be able to control the rejected documents regularly because we all at some point receive useful question from an unknown address, which might not be in your whitelist. The issue here is perhaps the ability to filter on the sender field, i.e. the part after the "@" in an email address.

• The printer settings

How to set up the printer for the greeting card envelopes 5-3/4 x 9

Hi Bassets,

Thanks for the heads up!

The envelope size that you want to print is not supported by this printer. I included a list of formats supported:

US No. 10 (4.12 x 9.5 in)
Card envelope (4.4 x 6 in)
DL                                                     (4.33 x 8.66 in)
C5                                                      (6.38 x 9.02 in)
C6                                                      (4.49 x 6.38 in)
Japanese envelope Chou #3 (4.72 x 9.26 in)
Japanese envelope Chou #4 (3.5 x 8.1 in)
A2                                                      (4.37 x 5.75 in)
Monarch (3.87 x 7.5 in)
6 3/4                                                 (3.62 x 6.5 in)

• Remove the names of files pdf demolished in Acrobat Standard XI

When I open Acrobat Standard XI on my PC and go to "Show all" pdf files, there is a long list of my pdf files, which I voluntarily deleted. The names of deleted files, however, remain on the list show all. How to remove these names?

Hi Karl,

There is no direct option to remove the names of the PDF "in the recently visited list, however you can set the preferences and change the documents in the list recently used 0 or any other number according to your requirement.

Go in Edition > Preferences > categories > Documents > Documents defined in the list recently used for a many appropriate as per your convenience. Save changes so that whenever you open Acrobat once again, these parameters do not change.

The second option is as follows. This method is for Acrobat 10, but you can follow the steps and see if it solves your problem.

1. Open regedit
2. Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\10.0\AVGeneral\cRecentFiles"
3. Delete the subkeys that you find here to clear history
4. In the left pane, right-click on "cRecentFiles" & select 'permissions '.
5. Click on "Advanced".
6. Uncheck the box «Include permissions inheritable...» "& when the dialog box appears, click on 'Add '.
7. Select the entry for your username in the list & click 'delete '.

• line break in the value of the attribute

Hello

11g JDevleoper xml document I need to have the line Rodez well instead of having xml attribute value

I want to have

<some-xml-element> <value>this value goes over...

multiple lines!</value> </some-xml-element>

Is this possible?

Thank you

Anatoliy

Your original question was about an XML attribute , but him more later for example does not use an attribute and a child element (). Attributes of the element XML and XML elements are two different things. If the XML schema for the underlying document defines the attributes, you cannot specify the required values as child elements.

If the XML schema defines the 'value' as an XML attribute, you can specify newlines using characters references, for example:

value="this value goes over...
multiple lines!"

NB. If you put direct line breaks in the attribute (as in your first example above) instead of character references, it will not work. Please, have a look here for precise explanation:

Is it possible to have HTML or CDATA text inside an XML attribute? -Stack overflow

If the XML schema defines the 'value' as an XML element, you can set the necessary value in a CDATA section, which will retain the formatting, line breaks including, for example:

multiple lines!]]>

• Add the double name of the hyperlink (MonLienHypertexte, MonLienHypertexte (2), etc.).

Hello

I am writing a script which automatically creates hypertext links, based on source XML-tag references in a text and their counterparts identically marked in the reference list. It works fine, except that a reference is sometimes mentioned twice in a text, causing the hyperlink to have the same name and crashing the script. I would like to have the names of hyperlink automatically added with (2), (3) etc. If this happens. I tried before with if/else statements, but unfortunately without success.

My current script, without the addition:

// General declarations
var myDocument = app.activeDocument;
var myRootXML = myDocument.xmlElements[0];

// Include glue code
#include "glue code.jsx";

// Some main definitions

var myDocument = app.documents.item(0);
//This rule set contains a single rule.
var myRuleSet = new Array (new findCitationRef);
with(myDocument){
var elements = xmlElements;
__processRuleSet(elements.item(0), myRuleSet);

Thanks a lot for all the directions you can give!

Kind regards

I do something like this:

//Hyperlink names must be unique. If a hyperlink has already been created with this name, this iterates a number to append
//to the name in the format "(1)".
var iter = 0;
//Check if a hyperlink with the name I want to use already exists and that it isn't this hyperlink.
while (myDoc.hyperlinks.itemByName(myHyperName).isValid
&& myDoc.hyperlinks.itemByName(myHyperName).source.sourceText !== myThingToHyper){
//Bump up the number to append by one.
iter++;
//Change the hyperlink name so that the old number is replaced with the new one.
myHyperName = myHyperName.replace(/ \(\d+\)$/, "") + " (" + iter + ")";
}

You could change that to add a letter instead. the best way I know this is to create a string variable that contains the alphabet and slice the letter you need, but it could be any other way.

I think the problem with your script, it's that you're not accounting for cases where there is more than two hyperlinks with the same name. You want to use a while loop so you keep looping until you hit a number or a free letter.

• How to limit the download of files of type mime?

Hello

I searched the forum (and Google) looking for advice on how to ensure only users can download files of specific formats (format PDF, Word, etc.) for the types of specific documents defined in the application (for example, resume (Word), copy of transcripts (PDF)).

While I've used this research to begin working on a solution on server side, I would like to know if there is an easy way to apex to 'validate' a part of file - browse according to the mime-type.

Has anyone else had this address?

Ted

Hello

I would like to know if there is an easy way to apex to 'validate' a part of file - browse by mime-type

How about you, you create a check constraint on your column of MIME type. something similar to this:

ALTER table "My_table" add the constraint
Check "MY_TABLE_CON" ("MIME Type" = "application/pdf" or "MIME Type" =...)

Or you can use this plugin, provided with browsers supporting HTML 5:
http://www.theapexfreelancer.com/Apex/f?p=APEXFREELANCER:FILE_UPLOAD:0

For the environment,
Please check the error handling:

• Maintanence CUBE...

Hello

In my table of facts, I filled out some data. After maintanence CUBE view or "Measurement data viewer" are emerging data. Then I clipped to the fact table. After this once more, I completed the CUBE maintanence.

Then when I check the CUBE view or the "measurement data viewer", it shows the data.

My question is that...

Is the store to view CUBE data continuously? Why the view or the "measurement data viewer" are popping the old data?

Thank you
Alexandre Martins

Conservation of the data in the cube is controlled by the "script of the cube", which you can see in AWM. The default behavior of AWM is to define a script with two steps

• Load
• Aggregation (aka SOLVE)

With this script, that the cube will keep all data even after it has been removed from the underlying fact table. It is (I think) what is happening in your case. If you want the cube to reflect the content of the fact table, and then you add a leap to the script so that it looks like this:

• Clead data (aka CLAIRE)
• Load
• Aggregation (aka SOLVE)

Make sure that the clear stage appears first in the list, or it will cancel the load step!

• File is not found when you try to open a file fdf email

Hi all. I'm losing my mind here so I thought I would like to ask the community for help. I use Acrobat X Pro. I have a PDF that a new employee is supposed to fill. All fields work and record properly. There are 2 buttons at the end of the document defined on some areas to a specific e-mail e-mail address. When the user clicks on buttons, a .fdf file is attached to a new outlook message. The problem is when the recipient tries to open the attachment, Adobe Acrobat X Pro (and player XI) comes up with the following message is displayed:

"The file you are trying to open contains comments or form data are supposed to be placed. This document cannot be found. It may have been moved or deleted. You want to browse to find this document? »

The original file is located on a mapped network drive (the same drive letter on both computers). The same message is still on the computer that the e-mail was sent from. I saved the active document with 'Activate additional features'. I'm getting close to end. I need to be able to send email outside of the network, but do not have to include the entire PDF file because it has confidential information. Any suggestions?

Since you will receive Marlon from outside, you will need to do is first of all, open the PDF file, and then import the FDF.

• Lines in pictures?

I use the Adobe DPS for a few months, and with the last update, I noticed that there are lines that are going through some of my images in the articles.

Is there a way to solve this problem, or I'll just have to deal with from now on?

In addition, these images are used to study the retina display crisp on my iPad 3 while previewing, but now blurred.

Whenever we see lines anywhere in the content, it is almost always because the frame container has a height of fractional pixels. In this case one of the two following ways:

(1) your document defining unit is picas/points instead of pixels. You should always design using pixels.

(2) the framework itself has a height of fractional pixels. A click in InDesign and look in the top bar to control the height. Make sure that it is a complete pixel and has pas.25 or something after the end.
