background applications using a lot of RAM

Hello... This is Pratik Patil of India... I have a question that I was hard once I upgraded my G2 Moto at Lollipop...

Many stock apps use more than 70% of RAM my Google stock now Launcher lag a lot... all I try to clean the RAM by using application master cleaner which frees up about 120 MB of RAM each time... But after 10 more minutes, same thing is happening... is that what I'm doing wrong or what should I do to get more experience free RAM and lag?

First, uninstall the master application. It is not good for Android.
Second of all, free RAM is not good! The more RAM used, more
applications is stored in memory. Clean the master (made by Cheetah Mobile)
Clears the RAM when it IS NOT NECESSARY for Android. Applications like these makes
your phone battery life decrease. The app erases RAM suddenly, but then
When you open an application, Android tries to recover from memory, using CPU,
and so the battery.
Please don't think there less RAM is a problem. Clean uninstall
Master/RAM Cleaner or any other applications of battery saver. They do more harm than
well, Android itself can do it all. Apps like these are just created
by the developers to serve ads we (just Google about Cheetah Mobile and)
you will see. Cheetah Mobile create so many redundant apps with functions
This Android itself can do and obtain revenue using ads)

  • Solution for Google Chrome (Helper) by using a lot of ram and cpu on mac os x

    Hi all

Some people have several tabs of google chrome, and it's using a lot of RAM. It also causes the fan go crazy sometimes. I looked for a solution for centuries, but no solution has allowed, until I stumbled upon the simple solution to use a google chrome extension that hibernates unused tabs. The problem has now completely disappeared.

There are a few different extensions that Hibernate unused tabs, but the only extension which has enough options setting to do what I want, is called "The Great Suspender".

You can set the time, after which the Hibernate (sleep) tab. The tab automatically resumes when it focuses on, (i.e., you don't need to then also click on a specific button). And the tabs of the extended day before will remain in hibernation after you restart the computer.

There are many other parameters that can be changed. (After you have made changes, don't forget to click the 'save changes' button.)

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for the tip.

  • Windows 7 uses a lot of RAM during the idling

What happened since I have my laptop. I noticed that my windows 7 uses above 1.55 GB just idling. I mean im doing nothing! For now, he uses a bit little more because I have a few programs that start like SugarSync (cloud storage) and lightscreen (to take multiple screenshots without having to save them manually). Right now these programs use 14 864 (lightscreen) K and 27 192 K (SugarSync). I like the speed, so I have disabled many startup programs in msconfig. This is Adobe reader, Apple Push, Facebook update, Google update, GoogleDrive, Hp Quick Launch, Hp QuickWeb, iTunes, Logitech Download Assistant, SansaDispatch, LaunchBox HP, Skype, steam and Microsoft OneNote. So I have very few programs that I kept. My anti-virus is Kaspersky. The reason why I bring this up is that I need the RAM because I sometimes run a server minecraft and minecraft client with some other programs such as Skype and internet explore (by the way that I went from chome to IE10 because I love the metro look and how it behaves).  The thing that bothers me is that when I look at another computer windows 7 or my computer windows 7 friends they all use approximately 1.2 GB of RAM or less. How is it mine use so much? Is there a way to have Windows 7 use less RAM?

    My specs are:

    Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

    6 GB OF RAM

AMD A8 3520 M APU with graphics card Radeon HD with 1.60 GHz

I end this laptop a year ago.

EDIT: Just happened a few minutes after I posted this and it never happened to me before. I was sailing on a new tech Web site when all of a sudden my computer makes a * BOOP * sound. the mouse started trolling then stopped all together. The fan is stronger and stronger and I couldn't do anything about. I had to force reboot and now all seems fine. Any ideas on what this is?

    Hello Nathan,.

RE: 512 MB VRAM - I have twice this and I repeat what I said earlier, ",""my office has 8 GB of RAM and my video card Radeon HD takes 3348 MB of RAM to lend to my video card that has only 1 GB of VRAM on it. And given your use of Minecraft, I don't have what you are ready to video, but I guess that's a lot. "

It's the GB.3 my video card is my RAM (System) the loan principal. The same amount which is the difference between your computer and your friends. And you have different programs on your machine, or are they also set up as a server / clients? Each machine is different, there are differences even in models from the same manufacturer.

The amount of RAM you are talking about 'missing' is low. If you are short on RAM that 3 tenths of a means of GB that much - upgrade your amount of RAM immediately.

In fact, if you want to compensate for it 3 tenths of a GB of RAM place a 4, 8, 16 or 32 GB flash drive to a free USB port and dedicate it to ReadyBoost see this article for instructions and the performance benefits: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/using-windows-readyboost-to-increase-performance/ . I have a 16 GB key on both my office of 8 GB on my laptop 2 GB. This works.

Let me know how you fare.

  • Lenovo y510p using a lot of RAM when it should not

I just had the y510p the other day, installed windows 7 64 bit and it has loaded with pilots and after installing all the car windows updates (which is almost a day of the tool) and now it seems he uses around 35% of the 8 GB RAM and comes with SLI disabled and all it remains out. Any idea what could be the cause? Looking at the Task Manager I could sum up a total of about 1 GB used but it always seems like about 3 GB used

Yes, those look normal to me. You use 1.6 GB of ram right now which is pretty standard for Windows.

  • After Effects uses a lot of RAM

Im a bit new to after effects, but I know my way around. My problem is that I have a file FRAPS 1.2 GB I want to add some effects, but after he added into the computer and clicking on preview, I get about 15 seconds of good video but after the green bar made just goes. My look at the use of mu ram and 15 seconds on the ram 11FR spell. Why does this happen?

The file there 720 p and 32 seconds long and 1.2 GB spell, shouldn't the ram so 1.2 GB file? Ram im using is corsair 1600 mhz ddr3 4 gb x 4 revenge. IM also using CS6.

The FRAPS codec creates a compressed video file.  After decompresses video effects in order to treat and it stores this video in a form uncompressed into RAM for an overview.  That's why your smaller file grows to a large amount of RAM required for previewing.

After Effects does not play long video stream in real time.  The RAM Preview aims to build segments of a short preview to check your work.  To view the long segments, make a file of the rendering queue.

  • the process Svchost.exe to netsvcs uses a lot of memory (~ 600 MB) and 100% cpu

I have windows xp edition sp3 family. I hit the power button to hibernate the pc but I think an automatice update was running.  Pc crashes when windows resumes after hibernation. I forced a re-boot, but now the svchost.exe to netsvcs process uses a lot of RAM and CPU. I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with 1 GB of RAM. Svchost uses > 600 MB of memory and 100% of the CPU unless I have stop the DHCP service. When I stop DHCP the svchost stops using CPU and memory affected slowly decreases to about 150 MB and remains at this level. But without DHCP I do have access to the network.

After installing SP3 recently I started having some weird problems, as I lost my printer and had to re - install the software. Also noticed that after re-booting and desktop appears completely empty, the screen turns white and the taskbar at the bottom will appear empty for about 30 seconds, then reappears. PC seems to be more slow tha before installing SP3.

I've tried everything. Nothing stopped the svchost to chew all the memory, virtual memory and time processor. Had to re - install windows xp.

  • Application of windows 8... can I use to open the ram files and how does it work?

application of windows 8... can I use to open the ram files and how it works

I think you are talking about the files with a. Extension of RAM. If that is the case, have a read of the information at the link following, be careful, do not click on the buttons of the big 'Download Now' here, they are simply advertisements:

    http://www.FileInfo.com/extension/RAM

Real Player is a program that should help you to open these files. You can search and download the Windows Real Player 8 compatible version on their site.

    I hope this helps!

  • I get a message that the memory is low and needs to close... I have a lot of ram

Whenever I log in I can use the computer for a little while, and then I get the message that my memory is low... I have a lot of RAM so I don't know what to do next. Do you have helpful advice?

You can also get this error message if you have disabled the pagefile (virtual memory), depending on what software you are running may at that time.
Although not always necessary there are still many programs and games that use the pagefile.
To set up a swap file:
Go to control panel > system > advanced system settings > performance >
Advanced > virtual memory and check the size of the managed system, and then click Set.

If you want to save space on a SSD, you can also set a
Custom size with the min and max to 1024MB (2048MB) which should be more than enough for most applications that use a PF.
You can also set Page files on the other HARD drive if you have more than one.
A PF is also required for mini dumps (error reporting).

  • Clones using a lot of space

I expect this post here until I place a call to VMware. My linked clones seem to use a lot of space of SAN. I redial every two weeks, because I see my LUN put below 40 GB of free space. I have a GB 325 ONE of my clones. I have approximately 65 clones.

I use a ONE of my clones and a LUN, separated from my lines and another unit number logic for P-drives (2GB). This is why I can't explain why my CLONE lun uses as much space. If I look at virtual desktops, some use 6 GB, 8 GB, up to 12 GB!

I use a 4 GB also available with each vdesktop drive. I thought that if I don't do that, then all temporary files go to the P-drive and which fills up quickly. I thought the disposable disc is removed on logout?

If I update one of the desktop computers that uses say 8 GB, it comes down to a little more than 1 GB, which makes sense, because this particular machine use 1 GB of ram, so there is a 1 GB swap file.

Users installing not applications on the vDesktop, Windows Update is disabled. The only thing is antivirus dat get pushed.

    thoughts?

The first disc, a small view that creates who holds QuickPrep configuration data and other data based on the OS that must be preserved during the refresh and recompose operations.

The second disc, if I'm not mistaken, is where the view creates the right snapshot once the clone is created.  As far as I know it is used to help speed up the refresh operations.

The third and last disc you have listed is where the differential data is stored.  This is data that are different from what is stored in the replica.

  • Open built in the workspace Addons in LabVIEW application using the API

I do Veristand project who uses a lot o custom code for additional features (database Custom logging, several preconfigured stimulus profile running on action of the user, custom logging datafile, customized SCADA-like display of the State of the system (pipes, valves, pumps, etc.)). On any other user of hand interface for the control of the program must be simple, because operators use (the only options, no change in operation) and similar to the previous system solution (which was HMI, touch screen with multiple monitors).

I plan to do LabVIEW custom application for GUI which communicates with the gateway Veristand and target using API functions.

However, I want to implement some already existing in the workspace tools in LabVIEW code, such as monitor of the alarm. There are "Open workspace tool" API functions in the labVIEW Veristand API function list. This function requires the toolpath to workspace as an argument. How can I set path for those built in the workspace tools? I'm not managing to find with the simple search.

  • LifeLog is not connection application use

    Hello.   I run Lifelog on a LG G2 with a SWR10 through Sony's SmartConnect.

For some reason, Lifelog is not recording time spent on browsing activities, Communication, game or video (and maybe others - these are those I'm interested).   I have seen other users with similar problems and tried the suggested fixes: uninstall + reinstall, by disabling App + Cache data and activating / deactivating the Logger switches.  Nothing seems to work for me.

The application used to log very well but it has not registered the application data for recent months.  He doesn't see I take pictures, steps and transport, but it does not recognize e-mail, browsing, games and video.

Y at - it other ideas or workarounds out there?  It's frustrating because I chose this device on others, because is a broad view of the cup of the lifestyle.

    Quester! You are a genius!

It turns out that this option is not available on my LG G2.  After a little research, it seems that LG, in their wisdom, removed this particular option of Lollipop.  However, it can be accessed using a smart procedure, I found on XDA (here).  I copied the appropriate text below for other users of strugglign with the same question.

"The only way I know to access is through Launcher Nova. Long press on the home screen and select Widgets. Locate the activities widget and drag it on your home screen. When the activities menu opens, scroll down to and then select settings. When the menu grows, scroll down to and then select "Apps with access to use. You can then select and add Applock to the list of apps w / access to use. »

  • How to call BlackBerryContactList.choose () of the background application

I am facing a problem while call BlackBerryContactList.choose () to background application (process) nothing happens.

    Below is the code

    List of BlackBerryContactList = (BlackBerryContactList) PIM.getInstance () .openPIMList (PIM. CONTACT_LIST, PIM. READ_WRITE);
    Choose PIMItem = list.choose ();

When you call a user interface application works well, but even does not work when the application background.

    Please help me...

This dialog works separately from your Application.  It is not actually a part of your Application.  It is a Global screen.  It works very well.

But to use the dialog to choose, I think you should return control in your application, and as you've found, I think that you need to bring your application to the foreground in order to ensure that he choose the dialog box is displayed.  This means that you have to run a UiApplication, not a request.

To make sure that it can request not bought to the forefront accidentally, you can set acceptsForeground() to false.

But when you want to use the Choose dialog box, you will need to have this method returns true and then put your Application in the foreground.  When you get the answer to choose, you can set it to false and again take your application in the background.

I suggest while you develop it you just create a UiApplication standard and make it work like that.  Then try to simulate an application by adjusting the acceptsForeground() at the right times.

Since your application will in fact be a UiApplication, I suggest you have a too associated screen.  A simple splash screen will do.

    I hope this helps.

PS > there is a small chance that you can requestForeground on your Application when you call the method of choice and it appears.  Try it.  But I will not be surprised if it fails.
