background fade/gradiation color

Hi all. I'm trying to do a basic html page in Dreamweaver with a purple background color which is darker on top, then fades gradually as you look towards the bottom of the page. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

It will be simple and involves a horizontal mosaic of an image.

Create a file in your image editor (Photoshop/Fireworks) with a size of 20px high 1000px wide. (You can base the height of your needs of course.) Using the gradient tool, drag a vertical gradient (from top down) and note the hexadecimal values of the background color. This will be used for the background color of your page html value. Save your chart under horizRpt.jpg (or whatever you want), by using the save for Web option.

In your html page, set the background color of the same color at the bottom of your gradient page. Apply a background image - horizRpt.jpg and set tile to repeat x.

Now you should have an image which tiles horizontally and at the bottom of your gradient color should blend perfectly in the background of the page.

  • To get the background and foreground color of the screen title

    Currently the title screen background color is black, and foreground color is white.

    But when we use custom theme then it can have different background and foreground colors.

    That's why I need to pick up the color of the screen title properties.

    How can I achieve this?

    Thank you

    I think you want to color your application according to the background and foreground color! Override the paint of the main method and use instance graphics for call getColor () and getBackgroundColor ()... Save it to integer variables and use it anywhere where you need...

    I know that if I understand exactly what you're trying to do, but if you change it 'mode' to 'screen' to 'normal' and drag the pointer from left - right (or remove the "flip side" and drag right left) I don't know that that's all what you're trying to do.

    Another way is to paint 'the edge' with a big brush in the same color as the background.

  • Background fades to!

    Hello

    Need a little help actionscript!

    I'm create a microsite, in which the background color changes depending on which section you are in!

    I want it so that when I go to a current background section vanishes as the new on faids in!

    Ive got the bland in is sorted, however is there a kind of script that I can put in indicating the current context of faid out?

    Also say im in the red section and then want to load a different aspect of the red section! I don't want to re - charge the red background! Is it possible to achieve this? My first thought was to use a sort of IF statement, however I'm not exactly sure how I do this?

    I'd appreciate any help getting there, because I'm still learning!

    Thank you!

    Because the way you are on a forum of actionscript, the appropriate recommendation will tell you to fix things using actionscript tweens instead of tweens on the timeline.

    Here is an example that you can plug in a new empty file and try.  Just create a Movieclip and give it an instance name of "mc".  Then place this code in the script in the same setting (different layer)...

    Import mx.transitions.Tween;
    Import mx.transitions.easing.Regular;

    var tweenToAlpha;
    var tw:Tween;

    mc.onRelease = function() {}
    If {(mc._alpha > 50)
    tweenToAlpha = 10;  10% alpha fade
    } else {}
    tweenToAlpha = 100; fade to 100% alpha
    }
    TW = new Tween (mc, "_alpha", Regular.easeIn, mc._alpha, tweenToAlpha, 1, true);
    }

    The wheels are basically... When you click on the mc, if its alpha is > 50%, it has melted, otherwise it will fade.  I don't have it fade to 10%, so you can always see the mc click on it, but you can always click on it if it went to 0.

    I recommend you to play with him a bit and study until you understand what it does.  Then you will have a better chance to integrate with your design... it release you using the timeline for interpolation.  Find the Tween class to understand the arguments that are used in the Tween constructor.

  • Why no response regarding the lack of background and text colors?

    Although I see that two posts asking why this happens, the only answer has been asked which PC they had. I'm having the same problem (background colors and text are ignored) with this pavilion ze4900 (IE9.1). Pages display properly on my desktop PC but not on this laptop. Driver chart updated today but no change. I'm not formatting HTML simple like bgcolor = text color and black lime green = talking (even if the format #00000). I do HTML (no java, no flash, but a simple formatting) for my web sites and ebay auctions and have never had this problem other than on this laptop.

    After the search for other sources mentioning accessibility features, I thought about it. The IE Options for accessibility and the colors were not the solution, but by going to control panel, I found other accessibility options and had the function of "High contrast" which forced most of the elements without color and also made most of the invisible extra boxes (no border).

  • Header of the apex and the background of custom colors

    Hi all

    I tried for days to change the color of the header of reactive blue without success. I went in firefox and was not able to find the properties of the header. I wanted to just change to a grey color, can you please point me in the right direction.

    In another application I was working on I used centered blue and wanted to change the background to green however when I save my code as below in the css file and reference it in the model it changes only half of the page to the color I want, and the other half stays the same... I'm not good with css, so I'm lost.

  • How can I change a signature black (on white background) with another color?

    I have a handwritten signature black on white background scanned in and stored in jpg format.

    I need to select the black lines and change the color to something else, but I can't understand how to choose black and change the color to yellow (for example). I'm relatively new to Photoshop and am not familiar with masks, etc.

    The Replace Color tool does not work for some reason any. If I select the area using the magic wand, it selects I want to change (the black line signature), but I don't know how to replace the color then.

    Help! (I'm using CS5)

    Here's the process from start to finish:

    Make sure that you are working on a copy of the original image of signature...

    1) bring to the image of your signature.

    (2) create a new layer and fill it with the color you want to replace black with.

    (3) set the layer to screenmode.

    (4) to flatten the image by going to layer > Flatten Image.

    (5) duplicate the layer to control-click on the layer in the layers panel. Make the invisible the original layer by clicking the eyeball next to her.

    (6) use the magic wand to select the white area of your image and delete it. Make sure that contiguous are unchecked upward at the top of your screen so that you select the areas of white contained in the loop in the signature.

    (7) remove the layer that you have hidden by dragging to the trash in the layers panel.

    Now you can just drag the layer remaining in your other document, or record it is as a .png to be placed in a new document. I hope this helps!

  • Transparent background instead of color for the stage

    Is there a way to set the background color of the scene for transparent instead of a color? I don't see color option by clicking in the Manager of the property for the background.

    Do you mean transparent when designing in Flash, or after you publish the .swf to use on a Web page?

    On the Web page, you add the wmode transparent parameter to the embed code for give a transparent background to the scene.

    Best wishes

  • How to make the background like no color

    Hello

    I'm sorry if my question is beginner...

    I appriciate if someone help me findout how the backgrond (which by default is white) as "no color"?

    Thank you

    You can make transparent Flash - there must be a white color by default.  If the file is displayed in a web page, then control you whether or not the background shows by setting the wmode property in the integrating HTML code.  You can configure in the section of the publication html settings, or you can just set it on the web page.  When you set wmode = "transparent" background is not displayed.

    In fact, if you want a solid color, you don't need a background image at all, you can get rid of it and just put a background color in your css.

  • Background in layer colors

    I'm working on an Illustrator drawing I did a few years ago. I found that I can't drag one of the layers with a light background outside to have a layer of higher level (with no indentation). Which means that the background is light?

    Dark-Light Layer Backgrounds.jpg

    I use CS6 (Illustrator 16.0.0 32-bit) on Windows 10.

    This means that they are content on the gateway TBD. Holes is its own layer of base, with its own content, so not highlighted. Twirl it open and the contents of the holes will look the same.

    At the same time, to move the outline or the pillar 1, etc. 2 pillar to their own layer:

    • Click the new layer on the bottom of the layers panel line
    • Drag the square (yellow for outline) on the far right on the layer in the new new layer
