• How can I change a signature black (on white background) with another color?

  I have a handwritten signature black on white background scanned in and stored in jpg format.

  I need to select the black lines and change the color to something else, but I can't understand how to choose black and change the color to yellow (for example). I'm relatively new to Photoshop and am not familiar with masks, etc.

  The Replace Color tool does not work for some reason any. If I select the area using the magic wand, it selects I want to change (the black line signature), but I don't know how to replace the color then.

  Here's the process from start to finish:

  Make sure that you are working on a copy of the original image of signature...

  1) bring to the image of your signature.

  

  (2) create a new layer and fill it with the color you want to replace black with.

  

  

  (3) set the layer to screenmode.

  

  (4) to flatten the image by going to layer > Flatten Image.

  

  (5) duplicate the layer to control-click on the layer in the layers panel. Make the invisible the original layer by clicking the eyeball next to her.

  

  (6) use the magic wand to select the white area of your image and delete it. Make sure that contiguous are unchecked upward at the top of your screen so that you select the areas of white contained in the loop in the signature.

  

  

  (7) remove the layer that you have hidden by dragging to the trash in the layers panel.

  

  Now you can just drag the layer remaining in your other document, or record it is as a .png to be placed in a new document. I hope this helps!

  The blue square is the area of the camera is in point and exposure on.

  Tap on the area actually taking a picture of. For example, if you take a photo of someone int eh the room and the bottom is very light (or dark), tap on the face of the person to turn to that.

• To create a text box with a colored background but the text didn't appear not

  I'm doing a map of color-coding. It's just a black and white base card, but I filled in the cities with different colors using the paint bucket tool, to show which region they belong to.

  At the bottom of the map is a list of five regional offices and the offices of the area covered by each of them. I was hoping to create a box around the text, and then fill it (the box) with the color that corresponds to that particular region.

  Using the rectangle selection tool, I call a box around the text and filled with color. The opacity is set to 100%, so the text behind it disappeared completely. If I reduce the opacity of the text appears in grey, but I want the text to stand out and to be black.

  Using the Horizontal type tool I tried to redo the text everywhere again. However, the text I typed (see the text layer name) was not appear.

  Then I went in the character window and clicked rest character, hoping that the text arise, but it still does not work. The blue fill layer covers the original text, but is there a way to keep this original text, always be black, in order to keep the blue background? Or redo the entire text again in a new layer (as I tried to do below) would make more sense?

  

  Change the blending mode of the layer of color, darker color should work well.

• Question on color background with other objects

  I'm new to this forum and I am very new to illustrator program. I realize that this may be a basic question and stupid it is obvious to most everyone else here but put into perspective my skills. I am doing a project for my base class of graphic design in my community college and I do could be done better by someone in the kindergarten. He looks terrible.

  in any case, I tried to set the background color to a 8.5 x 11 in. project and I know that I can add the background color with a rectangle on the entire space and fill it with a color. My question is how can you put other objects from the background of different color on top a blue (or any color besides)? For example, I put a black circle on the top blue background but it disappears behind the blue, so you can't see the circle. I tried to reduce the opacity of the background blue, but it doesn't look good. I want to be 100% opacity blue. I just need to know how to put things on top of the background color. I'm using CS5 passing.

  You have the mode draw behind? If so, change it at the bottom of the tool palette, or press SHIFT D.

  I noticed my disabled TextInputs now have a much darker background with 2 beta with beta 1. the new background I find is much too dark. What was the value before the beta 2? I would go back to this value in my CSS file.

  I hope that makes sense for everyone, somehow when I was messing around with the colors on my screen, well, I thought that I just changed the outline of color display box well apparently not whenever I'm looking for something on the bottom of some site web it is comes in blue instead of white like it's supposed to be , and it's really hard to read things on a blue background, I tried everything I know possible to fix it.   If you are using Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options , and then click the color on the first page (e.g. General) of the Internet Options dialog box.

  

  Put a tick the use Windows colors option and click OK at the bottom. Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.

Change that is related to the ease of use (i.e. the color schemes for color blind and even non-color-blind people) must be prioritized the most aesthetic, but apparently not the case of vista, where color schemes are relegated to the option "Advanced settings", and no color scheme (text selected either blue, visible) 'windows' classic appears.

  My question: is there a solution to easily change the colors of vista, without any of the navigation in the menus? Some of the default themes (which you show with just a touch of color in the menu "level of transparency") is a high-contrast color.

  Hello Jose,.

  Unfortunately, you will need to navigate through the menus to change the color and theme of Windows.  You may be able to change the set of colors to your liking and save it as a theme so so you will simply have to choose a different theme in relation to changing the color permanently.  I hope that the information is beneficial.

• If an illustrator file has links with spot colors, how can I create PDF files with process colors?

  My file has shades of tones that came with the linked logo, I could not find a way to convert those shades of colors quadri.

  I need to send PDF on a printer with only process colors, I know that the printer can choose to convert spot colors to process when printing with printer within Acrobat Panel, but since we do not print, we need to send files to print ready with process colors only.

  Is there a way or a script to make PDF file generated from Illustrator with process colors only?

  You could try object > flatten transparency and clear colors to preserve overprints and Spot.

  I set the preset high resolution and turn on the preview to see if something dramatic is going to happen.

  After that, you can check the file of color dot in the separations Preview Panel.

• Output with uniform colors for web pages

  This color management really important issue which does not seem to be adequately handled by the Illustrator. I hope I'm missing something, but I'm afraid that I'm not.

  When you design a webpage in Illustrator, unless you're actively in view > proof Set > sRBG every time you open the document, in hexadecimal values selected objects will not match between the display of your document and the browser. On the other hand, save for Web, default will convert colors sRGB for you, so display them faithfully in the design.

  So, if you're not in the process of think to select sRGB format of test, whenever you open your document, and then once you start to produce for the web, images are, but do not have the background and text color. AND there is no way to convert the document at the end of the process to have the color values appropriate as far as I can tell.

  At this point, your only option is to make a save for Web on your overall design, converted it to sRGB which way, open the raster file in photoshop and select the hex colors from there.

  It seems at the very least, you should be able to set a default evidence for a document configuration, or be able to select the hexadecimal values converted for you to sRBG.

  I missing something here, or is this an accurate description of the situation?

• How ca I remove the yellow background (with red vertical lines) all my videos to my preview screen?

  In recent weeks, all of my videos (even those created before) now have a yellow background with red vertical lines when I stop (only when I stop). That, when I export, it creates the vertical issues with colors.

  I finally had someone from the tech group to answer! Here's the answer: the issue you report is a known problem / bug in first 2015 on mac 10.11 with Nvidia graphics cards. I advise you to change the rendering engine for 'Software only' for this problem.
