Background sound

Using headphones with my Lenovo ThinkPad I can hear a noise, for example if I run my finger through the casing of the laptop, the sound is amplified.  There is a background noise even if nothing is done.  It is not a problem with the headphones that are ok with another laptop, again I tried several pairs.

Any advice would be welcome.

Make sure that the microphone inside is cut in the reading options, it's probably playing back all it seem spikes upward.

    You want to completely remove audio or you want to keep your audio files and only to remove some unwanted background noise in it? To get rid completely of audio, do what Dave has suggested. For only getting rid of background noise, send the first clip to the hearing and to experiment with noise reduction capabilities.

  • Can you add a background sound on the site of Muse?

    I found a solution very inpractical to add a background sound: add sound on another Site and make a link from Muse to this file outside. Very little practical use and not much:

    1. The sound starts everywhere when we change the page in Muse
    2. There is no control for music (volume, power switch, etc.)
    3. Very complicated.

    Is it possible to import an audio file into a page with audio control specigic?

    Thanks for all the solutions I receive

  • adding background sound of Captivate 4

    I saw a demo in Adobe Help Viewer 2 for adding background sound to a slide. I had to use the menu item "Movie. However I don't have a 'film' menu item The name of the application in the demo is "macromedia Captivate. Is this another application? I've searched for macromedia captivate on the Adobe site, but did not find.

    Hello

    Macromedia Captivate would have indeed been version 1. We are now up to version 4 and Adobe is now owner of Captivate because they acquired Macromedia years.

    If you want to add the background sound, click the Audio menu and select Background Audio.

  • Background sound (running on select slides)

    I have the narration on most of my classes and I want to run a background music on six of the eight blades.

    When I select audio background, he added music to all the slides and I don't want that. I tried to import it, but it won't let me put an audio file by slide. I work with Captivate 4.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Kristen

    Add audio as background to the project (Audio > Audio background).

    On the slides when you do not have audio, examine the properties of the slide. On the Properties dialog box is an option titled "Stop background sound.

    Enable the option, and you should not hear any background sound for this slide. But others will always have it.

    Hello

    Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

    IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

    IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

    Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

    not better?

    IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if she's here, it is no longer necessary but Java still
    installs and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again). Look for other
    possible problems.

    Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right.
    Allowed are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program, ask
    topic here.

    Could be a free - SpyBHOremover - BHO - standalone program, needs no installation, download and
    run - not all are bad but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

  • Background sound stutter when idle in IOS

    Hello

    I am facing a very annoying problem on iOS. I've done a few apps guided meditations, and I need to play meditation is the background. Problem is that whenever the device goes into "idle" (either) mode, the sound stutters and is reduced to silence for 1 or 2 seconds. Which is very annoying, especially when you are in the middle of a meditation and need to clearly hear the instructions.

    I have a somewhat more complex code in my applications, using SoundChannel and SoundLoaderContext objects, but even with very simple code below, the problem occurs:

    package {}

    import flash.display.Sprite;

    import flash.media.Sound;

    import flash.net.URLRequest;

    SerializableAttribute public class Main extends Sprite

    {

    public void Main()

    {

    var mySound:Sound = new Sound();

    mySound.load (new URLRequest("Local/Demo.mp3"));

    mySound.play ();

    }

    }

    }

    In my application.xml file, I have:

    < InfoAdditions > <! [CDATA]

    < key > UIBackgroundModes < / key >

    < table >

    Audio < string > < / string >

    < / array >

    []] > < / InfoAdditions >

    I tried a lot of things, as in my object SoundLoaderContext using a large buffer, or with "NativeApplication.nativeApplication.executeInBackground = true", but nothing helped. It occurs on multiple devices (iPhone 4 and iPhone 6). It happens with AIR 19 and the last beta of AIR 22.

    The only occurrence when it doesn't happen is when I launch audio, press the HOME button (so the application is sent in the background, and I see the dashboard iOS), and then press the power button. Here, no interruption of the sound. But if I press the power button while the application is in the foreground, the hiccups/stutter/pause bug occurs.

    If you just want to hear what it sounds like, you can download this app: Beyond the assertions - meditations guided on the App Store

    Then launch the free audio session and once he started playing, press the power button on the unit. You will hear the noise is reduced to silence briefly for a second or 2, but just be very annoying.

    Could you please help us with this, because it must be a problem of general block for anyone doing an audio player on iOS, and it is very unpleasant for the user.

    Thank you very much!

    Frédéric

    PS: I read on this DONKEY: GitHub - freshplanet/DONKEY-background-music: Air Extension Native (iOS and Android) to manage the background music and I do not know if it would solve the problem. Unfortunately, he is 4 years old, and I develop on PC, so I can't recompile it. Anyone have a more recent version please?

    I just tested 24 beta AIR, and the problem is solved! Thank you very much to the Adobe AIR team, it is a life saver for developers of audio applications. See you soon!

  • Background sound in ActionScript 3

    Hi I have a problem where the sound is not playing in my flash file, I've linked class SoundPlay my flash through properties file but no sound will play.

    I imported my music video to the library in my flash called _blank.fla file.

    package {}
    import flash.display.Sprite;
    import flash.events.MouseEvent;
    import flash.events.Event;
    import flash.net.URLRequest;
    import flash.media.Sound;
    import flash.media.SoundChannel;

    SerializableAttribute public class SoundPlay extends Sprite {}

    private var snd:Sound = new Sound();
    private var channel1:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel();

    public void SoundPlay() {}
    Start music
    var req:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("4am.mp3");
    SND. Load (req);
    channel 1 = snd.play ();
    }

    }

    }

    The error I get is:

    C:\Users\Casey\Desktop\Sliding duck Shooter\SoundPlay.as, 1 5000 line: the "SoundPlay" class must subclass 'flash.display.MovieClip' because it is linked to a symbol in the library of this type.

    Could someone help me please how to fix this error and get my background music playing as soon as I open my flash file?

    Cheers in advance

    Casey

    If you have imported the audio file into your library, then you don't need external as file.  If you have assigned the name of SoundPlay class for the audio file in the library, and then to use it use it create you the new sound instance in the fla...

    var snd:Sound = new SoundPlay();
    var channel1:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel();
    channel 1 = snd.play ();

  • Why Firefox does not play background sound in Web pages?

    I have added a background music file to my website using FrontPage 2000. The audio will play in the "Overview" tab but won't play in the Firefox browser window. "< bgsound src ="http://www.Your-Daily-Income.com/TVS/Audio/waves.mp3"loop ="-1">"
    When I discovered the source of the page (http://screencast.com/t/w0p7Z2iLvMi0)and click on the hyperlink "bgsound src" file, I get this: (http://screencast.com/t/D49tu8NsKPH)
    Any help is appreciated.
    CCMC

    BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox and only works on IE.

    You must use other means as an embed or object for older browsers or audio tags for recent browsers.

    If you use the type = "application/x-mplayer2" Windows Media Player will be used to read the file.
    Without a specific type of the QuickTime plugin attribute will be used under Windows.

    <object data="http://www.your-daily-income.com/TVS/Audio/waves.mp3" type="application/x-mplayer2" >

  • iMovie adjust the background sound for a clip?

    Using iMovie 10.1.1 I can't adjust the sound down to a clip. I used to be able to define markers on the soundtrack, and between the markers I could drag the volume bar upwards or downwards. Is he past?

    Can not believe it...

    No, it's still possible.   Make a selection from the soundtrack (can be attached or detached from the video) then adjust the position of the black line horizontal volume:
