  • What is the BSOD Windows 0 x 00000071 and can simply be fixed?

Whenever I run to the top of my Windows XP, I get a blue screen with 0 x 00000071 and session5_initialization_failed. I have no idea what that means and I CAN'T run in Mode without failure or last known working configuration, they also give me the same error. I used to have the BSOD 0x0000007b but then I used a CD of Windows XP Recovery console and it changed to 0 X 00000071. Is there anyway I can fix it from home and keep my data? I tried using fixboot and chkdsk/r, and it does not help. I have also a certain blank CD I can burn but I don't have the original Windows XP cd.

As the title States where Windows XP Professional SP3 with 0 x 86 stores the error logs when a blue screen happens? I can not find I checked in the system log, but could not yet identify the BSOD error codes. I activated to connect with these error codes when it occurs.

Can someone tell me where to find the error codes to stop Windows (BSOD)? Also, if you can describe what the entry will look like it should help.

    You have several questions.

1 - this one accident was linked to Redlight. sys with description BufferZone Kernel Module is a driver file of the BufferZone belonging to BufferZone product company.  That needs to be removed (at least for testing)

    2 - cumon

Associated cumon.sys driver filter system provider (R) Win 7 kit Windows DDK CRCMon (it's a minor issue)

    3 - cmuda.sys related to cmuda.sys C-Media Audio Driver (WDM). YOURS IS 2002

    How to find drivers:

-Google search for the name of the driver
-compare Google results with what is installed on your system to determine on what device/program, it belongs to
-Visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware or program to get the latest drivers (do not use Windows Update or Device Manager Update Driver function).
s ' there is difficult to locate them, post back with questions, and someone will try and help you find the right program

The most common drivers are listed on this page: driver reference

  • BSOD - Windows XP & Dell D630

We have several Dell D630 laptop computers who have experience of many BSOD per day.  The machines work fine when they are not attached to a network.  However, once they plugin for the network, start the BSOD.  All PCs are under Windows XP SP3.  We have updated the driver for the CARD on a few PCs and no change.  We have applied all MS updates and there is no change.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

    1. how many laptops are connected to the network?
    2. what version of Windows XP is installed on the computers?
    3. do you get an error message when the blue screen appears?

Verify that if the problem exists in Mode safe mode with networking, if the computer works as expected in mode safe mode with networking, and then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.

    a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

    b. you need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by Symantec).

Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.  Launch auditor.  You don't need to run memtest again unless the auditor is not the cause, or you want to.

    Hello

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - set the VIEW to hide
Microsoft drivers - update those without drain in their names. (Also update the BIOS and the weak)
level chipset drivers on the site of the constructor/the system motherboard.)

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • BSOD Windows 7 Professional when the system is restarted

    Hello team,

Can someone please review the BSOD Crash Dump at the link: http://1drv.ms/1w4OJSm and help me with what I need to do to solve this problem.  I have no problem with my machine except when I try to shut down or restart the system and then I constantly get this BSOD Crash Dump.  If you can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you and best regards,

E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

    Hello team,

    1. because I don't have a spare machine I ran the utility auditor of Microsoft may not be able to turn it off.  I apologize.

    2. I have day a virtual digital badge and then I got a new BSOD pointing PCI.sys as long as possible problem.  Please mention the BSOD Crash Dump: http://1drv.ms/1ww5oZN

    3. Finally, I tried to end the Windows session before rebooting my machine and then I rebooted successfully without a BSOD.  After disconnecting...   CTRL + DELETE to log on...  Then a box will appear so that you can restart or shut down your machine.  I chose the reboot and the system has rebooted without a BSOD.

    4. I will continue with this procedure to restart my machine and if I'm not getting any BSOD I will consider this issue resolved.

Thank you very much for your support...

Regarding the new DMP file, it was related to e1c62x64.sys Gigabit adapter NDIS 6.x driver of Intel Corporation (yours is 3 years old).  I remove and install the most recent available.

    Hi all!

I am having trouble with my Win 7 64 bit. It crashes quite often and I get the BSOD.  Finally, the error code 4 times was:

Until windows told me that he had problems of video material. But after that I downloaded the latest drivers for the graphics card I didn't have these problems.

I tested my memory with Memtest86 + without error.

    A-data not DDR2 ecc 800 MHz
    Sapphire radeon HD 4870 vapor-x 1 GB
    Intel Q6600 G0
    PSU Chieftec super 750W series

Stop and restart the computer. Press f8 during restart to get the menu boot options. Select the option to use the VGA driver. Follow the prompts to restart.

Power your computer like that for a few days, see if the problem stops. If so, the next task is to install a stable driver for your video card.

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

This scenario usually indicates a problem with the hardware. Alternatively, the driver can cause this problem.

Event 41 in the following scenarios can occur.

Scenario 1: Restart the computer and there is a stop BugcheckCode error in event data

Click here to show/hide the scenario

Scenario 2: The computer is off by holding down the power button

Click here to show/hide the scenario

Scenario 3: The system restarts randomly, and no error message Stop BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely not responding like it (crashes)

Click here to show/hide the scenario

What is the brand and model of the computer?

Try these steps and check whether that helps you resolve the blue screen error:

    Method 1:

Run them as Diagnostics of the memory of test to check memory problems. See the link for the same mentioned below.

Diagnosing memory problems on your computer

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/diagnosing-memory-problems-on-your-computer

    Method 2:

Please follow the steps from the link below:

    Check a drive for errors

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/check-a-drive-for-errors

    Important:

Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

    Method 3:

Log on to the computer manufacturer website and update the latest drivers for chipset, BIOS (Basic Input\Output System). Also, look for other updates to the device driver.

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

Note: Update of the BIOS can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered unusable. Be sure to observe the instructions of the manufacturer.

    See also:
Resolve stop (blue screen) error in Windows 7
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7

Important note: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

In addition, you can also download the minidump files so here experts can analyze the cause of the error on a blue screen.

The following link has information about the use of Windows Live Sky Drive:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02dB-4665-993a-08d865088d65

    I hope that helps!

    Hello

The kernel power event 41 ID error occurs when the computer is off or it restarts unexpectedly. Starting a computer that is running Windows, a check is made to determine if the computer has been properly closed. If the computer was not closed properly, a kernel Power event 41 message is generated.

A 41 event is used to signal that something unexpected has happened that prevent Windows to close properly. There may not be enough information to define explicitly what happened. To determine what can happen and to identify a possible resolution, it is important to know what made the computer at the right time before the event occurred.

If the 41 event is logged because the computer's power supply was interrupted, consider getting a UPS (UPS), as a backup battery power. A low power or, in the absence of power can cause this problem. For example, if you added the RAM or hard drive or additional devices at the beginning of this problem, the power supply may cause the problem.

"Please refer to: event ID 41 error Windows kernel 'the system has rebooted without cleanly close the first' in Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 '

    Note:

Applies to: Windows 8, Windows 8, Windows 8 Enterprise

Also since the laptop is new I suggest you to contact Sony Vaio.

Please post back with the State of the question.
