• Blue screen and bad RAM memory?

  Hey guys.

  I am using a MBP retina 2012 15 inches with an external monitor, a generic LCD 1080 p via HDMI without problems. And recently updated for Sierra.

  The question starts immediately when I plug it into the screen. The Macbook seems to overheat and run fans above 4000 rpm, which is very audible and boring. CPU and GPU temperatures go above 70 degrees C (normally they make 50 +). The battery holds for only 1.5 hours, generally works well for 4-5 hours.
  I tried killing all apps, followed a bad process in activity monitor, changing default resolution - nothing helps so far. The CPU is barely used by 10%, the memory pressure is fine.
  It's just that time when I plug the screen - Mac starts bad feeling. Never, the problem occurred on El Capitan. Maybe it's a GPU problem, but certainly caused by the OS.

  Try resetting the NVRAM (hold down the command-option-P-R on startup).

If it works fine for a new account then it's something in your own account which is the cause - perhaps an element of connection or some other system changes induced by the operating system previous and who does not play nice with Sierra.

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

  Open Console.app in Applications > utilities. Filter, called "String Matching," right, high enter "I/o" without the quotes. What happens when you do this?

• Bad video card - last ditch effort

  I'm 99% sure this is my video card that is causing this problem.

  Started a few days ago the screen filled with red pixels randomly, it could get worse over the next few minutes, and then the computer was completely insensitive - had stopped the clock and the mouse does not work yet.  I was able to ssh from my laptop, but cannot open applications and reboot via ssh wouldn't work, had to hard - reboot.  After having let it sit for awhile, it seemed better, I was hoping it was a stroke of luck.  Just right tonight (a few days since the accident of 1), he began acting again... bad.  I tried to run the Apple Hardware Test, he could not even done that - she's blocked (at the forefront in the screenshot), the mouse still worked, but even after half an hour, neither the time nor progress bar update.

  I removed the video card all together, the system is not is more locked up (so far), I am able to use via my MacBook screen sharing, and everything seems good function... which pretty much confirms for me, it's the video card (or slot) that's the problem.

  Does anyone have suggestions until I leave shell $500 on a new video card?  This expenditure could not have come at a worse time...

  I don't think I need anything too serious for a video card, I use Final Cut Pro.  I installed also just Apple Motion (literally, one day before all this crap started to happen, it seems strange that it could be related, but the time is quite a coincidence), and I join with two dual-link DVI ports.  I'd be curious to know if anyone has recommendations what video card to buy.

  As you say, the episode seems when you subscribe in iTunes, the iTunes Store is not show it again. I can access the food OK in FireFox and Terminal; It validates in FeedValidator but CastFeedValidator cannot read the stream even after 3 minutes.   I have my Apple TV (4th generation) hooked up to my receiver Pioneer Elite and the audio quality is very, very bad on all HD, its horrible movies. Everything is fine with my HDMI cable, receiver, or Apple TV. The volume is so low compared to the playback of a blu - ray movie or watch anything on television. When I watch a movie to iTunes HD on my Apple TV, I have to turn up the volume so much, but it does not increase the volume as it should. The audio is so different from a blu - ray movie, seems almost alive compared to watching a movie to iTunes on my Apple TV. Its really, really frustrating. Its almost unacceptable. Whats up, the poor audio quality? In most cases I pay more money for a movie to iTunes that the blu - ray of the same film. I expect the same or better quality audio.

Can I use a Wi - Fi connection, but I prefer the direct ethernet connection. Is it useful to draw on this bad boy of 27 inches down to the Apple store?
