IPod keeps playing same song

In the last few days my Nano ipod will play the first song in a playlist and then pay again. I can choose to play another song, and it will play that. And then she will play again. It doesn't matter whether or not he is in a playlist.

Is there a setting that I can have passed by mistake?

Thank you

I think your iPod is put to repeat a, which means that they will repeat the same song permanently.  If your iPod nano is an older model with a click wheel, go to the settings on the iPod screen.  There is a setting here to repeat.  The value Repeat All or Repeat Off (no repeat) (repeat current list).

If your iPod is the newer type with a touch screen, the repeat setting is on the reading of the iPod screen.  The button looks like two arrows in a loop.  Tap to change the setting.  7th generation iPod nano, see pages 18 and 19 of the user guide for more information on the repeat parameter.

If you have a 6th gen iPod nano, is the same; You may need to drag the current playback screen to see the repeat setting.

Why does my 7th generation nano play different versions of the same song (acoustic, demo, replacing) one after another before she switches to a different song?

We have two iPod Nano at home, and with both, must press 'next' to get another song. He just continues to play the same song over and over again... They both used to play shuffle or a whole list as requested...
    What is the problem?

There is a setting on the iPod to repeat.  The choices for this setting are repeat Off (without repetition), all (repeat current list) and one (repeat current track).  Your iPod can be set to repeat one.

If the iPod has a click wheel, the repeat parameter on the settings on the iPod screen.  Go ahead and repeat all or Offvalue.

If the iPod is the current model touch screen (or previous gen 6), the setting is on the now playing screen.  The button looks like two arrows in a loop.  Tap to change the repeat setting.  See page 19 of the 7th gen iPod nano guide user (where it says repeat songs)

  • How to stop the same song playing over and over again

  • My iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen the same song just rehearsals

I have an Ipod 2nd generation shuffle, and he will never play the song I put on, he would usually play about 6 of the continuously, despite having lots of songs on this subject. I recently restored to factory settings and got 64 songs on it, but he will play only one of them, which she repeats,

The shuffle uses flash storage.  Flash storage ends by wears.  Thus, the cause may be a hardware problem on your shuffle, especially since a 2nd gen shuffle is about 10 years at this point.

One thing you can try is to reformat the shuffle outside iTunes store.  This must be done in a particular way.  Are you using a Mac or a Windows PC?

  • iPhone 6 s plays the same song over and over again. How can I play songs on it down?

IPhone 6 s plays the same song. I saw old post about the colors white and blue, but I can't find how to do this. When I hit shuffle just randomly he takes up a new song. What I am doing wrong?

    Hi david5311,

If I understand your question, you have a list of songs (a playlist?) that you want to read in order, but one of your songs repeats instead.  Is this fair?

Take a look at the resource below to get instructions on how to use the new music on your iPhone app.   If you change your display to the current playback full screen size, you can see the controls a little easier.  Make sure that repeat and shuffle functions are turned off and the songs should play in order.

With the help of the new music app

    Play your music

When you play a song, you see the Miniplayer at the bottom of the screen. You can continue to browse other titles to find the next perfect song.

Or you can tap or slide up on the Miniplayer to see the display of current playback and controls. Press on the in the upper left corner or sliding down to close the now playing screen.

Also on the playing screen, you can rewind, pause, or quickly transfer a song, control the volume and more.

    Shuffle or repeat your music

Press on at the bottom of the playback screen to mix songs in a playlist or album. Alternatively, you can ask Siri to scramble your music.

Type once to play entire playlist or album looped or twice to repeat a song.

    Enjoy!

  • My iPod shuffle is still up to the same song

I always use my iPod on shuffle mode. When I turn the iPod off the next time I turn it on it restarts at the first song rather than continue where I left off. It is very annoying because I always listen to the same songs. When I load my iPod I plug it in the wall (not on the computer). Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thank you.

  • iTunes 12.5 maintains synchronization same songs

updated my iPhone 5 yesterday to iOS 10.0.1 and also updated itunes to 12.5.

And now, iTunes keeps synchronization around 2, 5 k of the same songs to my iPhone everytime I sync.

Already, I have removed all the songs and did a wipe of the iPhone and after that I restored a backup, but iTunes is always synchronize the same songs over and over again.

    Any ideas?

PS: Songs are NOT in a smart playlist

Open iTunes, preferences, devices and make sure that «prevent iPods...» "is checked.

  • My Ipod jumps on the songs

My Ipod nano 7th generation jumps on the songs, and I can play at all.

    What could do?

All the songs or a few songs?  If some songs, he always jump on the same songs, or songs at random ?

First, do a Reset (reboot) on the iPod

First things first... This isn't a pod... This is the induration world ipod makes its way into your every day language.

Regarding duplicates. He doesn't have to put the song on more than 1 time. However, that's the rub. If I put a song on my memory internal and then synchronize a playlist with this song in the internal memory, that his perfect WMP said already on the device. However if I sync the same playlist of the external card it syncs the song once again. As long as you keep playlists on the internal card, you should be ok!
