Hello
It is possible to print bar codes using normal oracle reports
But how using XML reports? What different steps must be taken to do the same thing?

Hello

Please refer to these documents.

    Hello

    -Simply download IDAutomation barcode fonts fonts. install this barcode font in your local fonts (C:\WINDOWS\Fonts)
    -Copy the same font (.) TFT) and beep path installed as xmlp\font (windows box)
    -After adding the police in your local area, you can find the same thing on MS works fonts (so that font is available for use in ms word)
    -Use the entry filed in the placeholder and replace the police in rtf model barcode fonts
    -You can now view this bar code font in ms word and reports too.

    Please try this

    No data found -put all the code in a form field

    In your example, the EMPNUM field has no data then it will display "No data found" in red.

    And if data are available, it will display the actual value.

    Add this logic to all your individual fields.

    Just want to know - if none of the columns were not given, in this case - that we

    EMPNUM PERSONID2 EMP_FULL_NAME NATIONALITY NATIONAL_ID Date of birth GCC_PENSION
    No data found No data found No data found No data found No data found No data found No data found

    (GOLD)

    Hello

    I am Consultant technical Oracle Apps HRMS.

    I wanted to know, if we can make Digital Signatures in the reports XML for HRMS application of Oracle 11i applications.

    If so, what is the approach to do so.

    Your prompt response is appreciated.

    Hi Patrice,

    The BI Publisher standard part of EBS applications.

    Most of the EBS reports (R12) rely on BI Publisher.

    If you check the 'XML Publisher Administrator' responsibility, you can see all the models used in the application.

    Your technical team should already know this.

    On the other hand OBIEE need separate licenses.

    But for you would be BI Publisher.

    See you soon,.

    Hello

    I've sent the updated file to your ID. Have a look at.

    Thank you.

  • Insert a link on the xml report. The link must open a document (PDFS).

    Is it possible to insert a link in the report? The value would come from a sql query. The link when clicked on would open the pdf or doc.

    This is done through a href or by inserting a hyper dynamic link.

    Version 5.6.2 Release documentation reference how to insert a hyperlink. Not sure if this will work for me.
    I tried, but in literature, he States:

    >
    If your input XML data includes an item that contains a hyperlink, or a part of
    one, you can create dynamic hyperlinks when running. In the Type of file or Web page
    domain name of the dialog box insert hyperlink, enter the following syntax:
    {URL_LINK}
    where URL_LINK is the name of incoming data item.
    >

    However the dialog I get when I inserted the hyperlink does not have a place to enter the item name. In other words, there is no "TYPE of file or Web page" area that I see.

    Hi ashalon,

    I made this way in MS Word.
    1. create the placeholder for the value
    2. put highlight and make a hyperlink
    3. Enter the url in the address bar

    So if you have a complete hyperlink in the URL_LINK xml element you just enter {URL_LINK} in the address line. If you have only a part of the link, IE only a product name, you can enter 'http://www.oracle.com?product= {PRODUCT_NAME} ".

    I hope this helps.

  • Add button on seeded table advanced to catch the person_id for generating the xml report

    We have a requirement to generate PDFs seeded page report.

    And we ensure a success without end. So really looking for inputs or ideas.

    1. Since the elastic layouts overall sizing is based on the user's default fonts size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those that need larger fonts size since the line length remains proportionate.
    2. Sizing of divs in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the entire layout will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase the widths of the various divs to compensate for this.
    3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.

  • XML report (with report.xsl stylesheet) print shows the font colors, but not highlight table colors

    I try to print the XML report generated by TestStand as a PDF for archive.  When the XML report in Internet Explorer, everything seems fine - sequence names are highlighted in blue-green, the neck is green, in case of failure is highlighted in red.

    However, when I print this page as a PDF (with BullZip PDF printer, or even the XPS printer), went to all the light of table layout.  The result of the object to be measured in the header is colored red or green depending on the State of pass/fail, but sequence and setting names in the form applied to the tables in the body of the report have no highlighting.

    The stylesheet modifies what is returned when the XML file is printed?

    It is the output seen in Internet Explorer

    It is the output seen as a PDF printed from the same file read in Internet Explorer.

    Thank you

    Matt

    Hey Matt,

    It is in fact due to a default setting in Internet Explorer to not print the colors of background on Web pages. To change it, simply go to the configuration Page screen (on IE9, you click on the gear icon, then print > Page Setup) and select the option to print background images and colors. After doing this, the printed report must contain the colors you see on your screen.

  • XML report shows the parameters instead of the name of the variable

    I would like to than the actual variable name to be included in the report XML rather than the "settings."  I tried many things to get there without success.  Any ideas?

    Ok. It must be in the stylesheet that I use for the XML report.  I am an accountant on an older version of the horizontal.xsl due to some customizations, and the problem I have described does not occur when I use the latest version of the stylesheet.  Must have been a bug that has been fixed.

    Thank you

  • How to recover the XMLP report after publication

    Requirement:*.
    There is a custom created page that has some data (all data is display only) on level 1. There is also a link on that level 1.
    When the user arrives on this page for a particular search (from the search page) values and on a level 1 line and click this link, an XMLP report must be generated and open.
    When the user comes to the same page with the same values of research and the same line at level 1 later, after some time/day, the XMLP report which came already should open instead of generating a new report XMLP.
    Therefore, the XMLP report has generated only once for a particular line of level 1 and should now be reused.

    Technique of the logic applied so far:*.
    The logic was written on the component.record.fieldchange of the link level 1.
    I was able to generate the XMLP data file. By using this data file, I was able to generate the report (in PDF) and publish as well.

    Creates the object:
    & oRptDefn = create PSXP_RPTDEFNMANAGER:ReportDefn(<Report_Definition_Name>);
    & oRptDefn.Get ();
    & oRptDefn.SetRuntimeDataXMLFile (< XML data file >);

    Set the outdestination:
    & oRptDefn.OutDestination = < Some Unix Path >;

    Report of the process called:
    & oRptDefn.ProcessReport (< name of the report definition model >, % language, date, & oRptDefn.GetDefaultOutputFormat ());

    And published:
    & oRptDefn.Publish ("PSUNX", "", "", 0);

    The report is published. I can view the report in pdf format on
    Main menu > Reporting tools > XML editor > search for XML report

    Question (which is also a roadblock):*.
    Now how should I proceed in order to open (display) the same report when the user clicks on the link to the level 1 again.
    How can I reopen this same report next time?
    I was wondering that if I get the report Id, and the process Instance (as displayed in the search for XML report), I can save for later use. So I can dynamically create the report using these 2 URL identifiers when the user clicks on the same link next time. But not able to get the correct values of these properties.
    After publication, & oRptDefn.ProcessInstance gives 0 instead of the process instance, as shown in the XML report search page.

    Please help with your expertise.

    The instance of the process number is automatically filled by PeopleSoft during the call to publish. However, the problem is that you cannot recover the instance number of processes assigned by PeopleCode after the call to publish. I think that this property has a use when you run the report through the process scheduler and not the application server (which is the case in this situation).

    Take a look at the PSRF_RINFO_TBL notice. In this recording all the XMLP reports will be stored by the report URL. Your condition said that when a user enters a component with a certain search criteria and a report has already generated so that criteria at level 1 should link to open that specific report. With the file PSRF_RINFO_TBL, you know what reports have been produced so far. The only thing you need then is to link a report to a specific search criteria. If you run a SQLExec on the PSRF_RINFO_TBL after you have published it you should be able to recover the process instance and the content id. If you add a record or some fields of the record exist for this component, you can bind the instance of process/contentid to search criteria. If a report already exists, you can use the code I posted in my previous post to open the report on the screen.

  • Bar code, select type automatically

    Hi, actually I think that if we can do a VI that will decode a bar code without the user to select the type of barcode... given on the condition that the user does not know the type of bar code...

    And this is the example of the player code 1 d barcode, provided by the NOR...

    So I think that using a loop through each type of bar code, given that an enum... then there must be a correct output while others will result in errors.

    But I do not know how to view the data type without errors occur...

    Can someone tell me how to make or you have a better way to achieve this process?

    Put the code bar vi in a FOR LOOP and exit the error cluster in table form.  Then you can read the Boolean error to determine what value of the index has a correct result.
