  It's a scam.

  If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, explain, and change passwords.

  If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

  And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

  Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

  Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.

  Someone else just posted a similar question, but this subject seems to be closed. I have ADE on my desk for several years. I don't use it often, but I had several books on what I liked. Now, I have a nook and will want to probably use more often so I wanted to update. My user ID was an old defunct e-mail address and I wanted to change my ID to an existing address to avoid confusion.

  I followed the instructions in the previous post and using CTRL-SHIFT-D I deleted my old ID and then I entered a new. Now I see that I can not access my books and more I can not re - authorize my PC with the new code.

  Now that I reread the people of other post, I see that the answer said that will happen, so I was warned, but I acted too quickly.  So can I do to fix this stuff? My books are lost forever?

  To read your books, you need to use your old ID.

  If you still remember the password for it, he any too much he's using an old email.

  iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  Try to provide the exact text of the message you see. "size will end or something" identifies not enough information for anyone to be able to solve the problems.

  My machine now works. Here's what happened between my last post and the MS update feature works once more.

  I answered my own question about the SubInACL is allowed file to use on my machine. Googling it I found that it is a 'security descriptor and Editing Migration command-line tool' and that it would work on my XP Home edition. So I have done no harm. But he didn't explain why the machine does not respond to a stop command.

  So, with no harm done and an available restore point, I thought that I would see what the SubInACL program since the drive light was working but no message readable in detail until it was over.

  Googling the first line (echo off) in the batch file led me to a MS page that explains the function of command to echo. If I wanted to see out all I had to do was remove the echo off line. So I used Notepad to remove the line and saved the file. Re-run the bat file then produces a flow of lines in the cmd window - moving too fast to read. I got what I asked for but don't want that I really needed.

  Google "screen xp file output. The second Google result was a link to www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation , which explains how to redirect the output of a command file into a text file. So I followed the example and added a ">" and a unique filename at the end of each line. Worked like a charm. Weres big, very big files. All order lines have reported no failure except HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet which had modified 204160 entries and lines 901 has failed. Looking at a small sample of these faulty items, that they seem to belong to my McAfee AV, so I expect them to be special.

  A reboot of the machine successfully. Still didn't update.

  I ran the MicrosoftFixit program with no error reported.

  Rebooted and found the update feature works again. Cross my fingers batch of this next month of MS updates does not return this ghost.

  Hope someone can benefit from my experiences.

  1. click on start.
  2. choose Execute.
  3. in the run box, type: regsvr32 MSXML3. DLL

  If this did not help, you may be re-recorded some files more:

  3. in the run box, type (pressing well after each one): -.

  My laptop has a valid copy of Windows XP Professional and has always already been updated successfully, both manually by using the web page for the custom updates and so automatically.

  I still regularly ran my anti-virus (N360 which is always updated) software and windows defender.  I have also always used Spybot S & D.  None of the mentioned software found no major problems, as I expect, because they are supposed to prevent intrusions.   (a) press the Ctrl, Alt button Delete (if it is prompting you to press on).

  (b) click on your user name and password (if your username do not have a password, it will identify you by clicking on your username).

  First someone downloaded 'System tools' on my computer and tried to find my credit card and asking me to pay with a credit card for their service of removal of this system on my computer.  How do they know that it was on my computer if they do not have there?  They also deleted some of my files and share them on the internet.  And they have deleted the help section on my computer.  Whenever I tried to use it to get help for the Microsoft situation, they close me.  They have to monitor my online conversations and connections so they knew when to stop.  I went into my computer and founjd they were disassemble my files and export some to the internet.  It has been almoist for 2 weeks, and they are always at work.  I tried to go to IC3, the internet to tell police what had happened.  but they have to change my access to my computer... password, access to MSN and change my settings by default so that I could not use the button restore.    They hung my computer to one of them to do file sharing, which they stole my music, private photos and other things... like my anyaudioconverter.  I don't know what to do, except to go to IC3.  If you have any ideas to help me, please let me know.
