  • Another logical drive inaccessible after you delete the C drive.

I deleted my C drive to reinstallWindows. D, E drive work properly, but drive F is not accessible. Its does not appear in my computer and Disk Manager shows is allocated. Even if the data are easily retrievable through recovery software, but I want to now why it happened. And how to fix it?

    Hi Aman,

Given that you have saved the data, you can format the drive and see if it helps.

Format the disk in disk management.

    a. click Start. Click run, type diskmgmt.msc , and then press Enter.

    b. find the drive. Right-click on it and select format.

  • delete the printer driver by political group or batch script

I am migrating our server F & P from 2003 to 2008.  I created all of the printers in server 2008 and tested, and they print correctly.  Test the issue I am running is this: I can add the printer Server 2008 for fine local workstation, but users are unable to print the new queue.  If I go ahead and deleted the printer and remove the driver completely and then add the printer on 2008 server works very well.  So, I'm looking for a way to remove printers and drivers of each workstation via Group Policy or batch scripts to make my life easier.  Thank you.

  • Accidentally deleted the audio driver and have more noise

I managed to delete my audio driver.  I don't need an update.  I tried.  I went on the Device Manager, or what it's called and my speakers appear, but they are bright color.    I guess what I need to know is to get a download of a driver.  I am running windows xp pro.  I've looked everywhere and all I find are updates and links to a possible purchase.  I know that windows has free downloads, I just need to know where to get them.  Please help me.  Thank you.

Do re-post with your PC/laptop, name and reference number.

Or go to the manufacturers website and download the audio drivers XP-specific for your model.

If the re - install the drivers does not work, try this:

Right click on desktop > Open > in the menus at the top of the page tools > File Options > tab view (or view) > scroll up to 'Show hidden files' and check it out. > Apply/OK your way out of the small window.

Access the c:\windows\system32\Dllcache and locate the sndvol32.exe file > copy it it here: c\windows\system32 overwrite when asked. Re-start.

    See you soon,.

  • Delete the folders drive pen by mistake

I held separately the files and folders on my USB stick and another external hard drive. But, yesterday, when downloading the information to the computer, I deleted by mistake some records of the pen drive, not the expected external hard drive. Is it still possible for me to save these files back? Some of these records stayed my photos of delivery of diplomas and documents. Thank you for all the advice!

Y at - it an extra copy of these deleted files? If there is, just copy them all back. But, if there is not these additional copies left, keep this unused USB and take some third-party data recovery software to take risks.

Search the Internet, there are many similar data recovery tools that could be your choice, such as Recuva, and much more.

After the data recovery, also do not save files restored on this USB data recovery fails.

Never be so careless on your data from drive disk or pen again.

Back up all important data well could be really useful to avoid similar data loss problems in the future.

  • How can I delete the C drive on my computer or hard drive?

It is full, but disk clean makes virtually no difference, and it will not defragment either.  It's so slow.

The c: drive is where are stored the documents, the windows operating system, programs, etc.

Uninstall programs, compress/remove the useless documents to free up space.

You can delete? Yes. But you have tio decide if you want to what is there. For most of them, if you ever neeed them, you can * probably * re-upload.

But more importantly, if you have only 600 MB of free space, it is a * small * amount. Wharever to save space will be a stopgap. You can now save space, but you will find you soon in the same situation. The only real solution to your problem is to buy and install a larger capacity drive. Fortunately they are very cheap right now. This morning I saw an ad from Newegg.com for a 500 GB drive to $40.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that you try to remove the cab files.

You can remove the old data1.cab install files if you know what they contain or if the program that is used to rely on them more.

Important: If you remove a version of that file which depends on program, you may not be able to start this program or use wisely.

Please follow these recommended steps and post if you still experience the problem.
