Basic question on the plan text mode

I have PS CS5

I try to get a contour crunchy in my text. I use the outer glow and tweaking the settings, but the outer edge of my plan 'sex' is medium to soft and more like a light pen technique.

How can I get a very hard and crunchy outer edge / describe my text? Can you point me to a simple tutorial on that?

Thank you

Four other things that make the difference:

1. the police (some fonts are not smooth and the race will be not smooth or crunchy)

2. using a race inside usually receives a cleaner line.

3. in the tool options bar check aa (anti-ALIASING) has the value other than none.

4 see the text at 100% of view (actual pixels) % like 31.3 and so on can do

the text or images appear pixelated.

  • Basic question on the configuration of the OVD

    Hi gurus
I have a basic question about the configuration of the TPM. I have all the "employees" in Active Directory and 'Employees + external users' in OID. The employee user password is maintained in AD, while the same for the external user is maintained in OID.

    Query:
I need to configure authentication for an application for the employees present in the AD and present external users in OID. I have to join the profiles of employees present in AD and OID. Even if the employees are present in the OID, I don't want to configure for authentication of the OAM.

How can I implement this using OAM and OVD.

    I got your condition.

You said that OID contains external users as well as employees. You manage a container separated for employees in OID. If so, you job would be easy. If there is no container separated for employees on the OID and storing all users (employees and external users) in the same container (default: cn = Users, dc = xxx, dc is com) then you can get the list of AD users only with the following ldapsearch command:

    ldapsearch h Pei d 'cn = sleep '' w sub s b '' 'objectclass = user' SamAccountName

    Create three adapters OVD:

1 adapter used (this should point to Active Directory)

    2. users adapter (when creating this, you have to exclude users AD, just similar to find the above option).

3 create the adapter to store as the clubs above two adapters.

Now, OAM should talk to store adapter.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • What is the secondary text Mode?

On phones with classic phone keypad, secondary text mode usually iTap or not.  What does secondary text on Karma?

I see no difference when you type a message with the secondary text mode on or off.

    TIA

    Jefe-

Usually on other phones, you have been able to set. So, for example, I have Spanish as my secondary iTAP and iTAP English as my first. If I am crazy, I switch to Spanish. Usually, you press the star or hash key and it switch back to MultiTap, if that's more your style.

I don't know her like a basic question, but struggling to get this straight all in detachment.
I just wanted to know the steps to connect the text into a hyperlink when validating responses...

If someone can solve the example: here_ "go-ahead" should be a hypertext link and the link should point to google.com

    See you soon,.

  • Question about the flexible reference mode vs mode

Hi, help me to make it clear what mode should I use for my ar test?

If anyone can answer my questions, it would be useful.

    1. mode of reference

1.1 reference mode has some standard scenario to make VDI workload. would you share the contents of these scenarios?

1.2 how the reference mode simulates listening login for users of 400VDI?

    2. flexible mode

2.1 How can I decide which mode should be used for my test, the remote control mode, the passive mode and local mode?

in other words, what kind of test cases are recommended for each mode?

I know remote mode is 1:1 for the client and the desktop computer, passive mode is 1: n and local mode is 0: n.

2.2 how flexible mode to simulate the time to peak of connection for users of 400VDI?

    Thank you very much.

    Ayako

1 Yes "remote" mode and specify 400 as the number of workstations. You need 400 clients to connect.

    2. you can see the workload mix on the ViewPlanner UI page. But for the event log, you can only select the 'word'.

    3. There will be a PDF report at the end with all the stats.

  • Basic questions about the port of Vsphere mirror

I set up a lightweight VM that would deal with inter-VM traffic. To do this, I want to activate the duplication of port between virtual machines.

I have ESXi 5.5 Update 1 installed, use the Vsphere (no webclient) client. I see no duplication of port capacity on my Vsphere Client

    vsphere_esxi5.5_sc1.png

I have some very basic questions:

    (1) all documentation I've read involving 'Port mirror' is done via web Vsphere client. Vsphere is provided with Vcenter (please, correct me if I'm wrong)

    (2) only functions with "Distributed Virtual Switch", not "switch vSphere Standard" port mirroring. How can I activate "Distributed Virtual Switch"? What products can I download/install and try (suppose I go to the user a license for 60 days)

    (3) exist what API to enable/disable/setup Port mirroring?

    (1) all documentation I've read involving 'Port mirror' is done via web Vsphere client. Vsphere is provided with Vcenter (please, correct me if I'm wrong)

Because the mirror of port requires a distributed switch, you will need to vCenter Server and once in vCenter Server, you can the vSphere Web Client of the user or the vSphere Client (c# version).

    (2) only functions with "Distributed Virtual Switch", not "switch vSphere Standard" port mirroring. How can I activate "Distributed Virtual Switch"? What products can I download/install and try (suppose I go to the user a license for 60 days)

You can download the server vCenter Server (60 day trial) and you'll have an Enterprise Plus version for your ESXi host vSphere.

    (3) exist what API to enable/disable/setup Port mirroring?

  • Yet another question on the planning of the CPU

    Hello!

CPU Scheduling is one of those endless, and although I read a lot about it, I found different answers to the same question. Moreover, this is the last document on this subject and recommended... read http://www.VMware.com/files/PDF/Techpaper/VMware-vSphere-CPU-Sched-perf.PDF .

Is it possible to run 2 virtual machines at the same time in the same logical processor? Very basic question, I'll appreciate any response and if it has links to the official documentation, even better!

    Kind regards

Ah, I think I see the confusion. There is no such thing as using a fraction of a nucleus within a single cycle. You CAN use all of a nucleus for a fraction of the total cycles over a period of time, but a physical core is busy or idle. There is no in-between, especially since we are ignoring hyperthreading in this example.

All of a core to aid for a fraction of the total time in a given sampling period, is what gives the illusion of the use of 'part' of a core. Split in fact one heart in this way would require States and the architecture that simply do not exist in the x 86 world.

Note that in the article by Frank Denneman he calls specifically free cycles "shopping on ' Planner. In your example, there will be always 1 free cycle at any time. There are 1000 cycles per second in your original example, and many of these cycles may be free, but there is never more than one at a time.

To say things, otherwise, you cannot use all 1000 MHz in the first millisecond.

The paragraph you cited in the guide to management resources assumes a Jepp 2 GHz. keep in mind that any measure of frequency REQUIRES a time interval. There is no literal split 'given time' is implied here. What they're saying is that if over a certain period of time, say a second, VM1 only consumes 500 cycles and ask no more, then VM2 is welcome to help itself to one of the unused 500 cycles initially entitled to VM1, and cycles of 1000 that VM2 was already entitled.

I would like to know if there is still no ambiguity, or whatever it is that I does not really there.

  • Basic questions about the PL/SQL web services and data source names

    Hello

I've successfully generated a web service for a procedure from PL/SQL packaged JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0).

The following code was generated in the base class for web services:
     __dataSource = (javax.sql.DataSource) __initCtx.lookup("java:comp/env/jdbc/dbconnectionDS");
However in the weblogic server, the data source name is jdbc/Gisele for deployment fails in a first time.

What is the recommended procedure to solve this problem? The obvious solution is to manually change the source - that's what I did and it worked fine. However if I re - generate the web service I won't lose my change. Is there a better way to do it?

Another question - in the web.xml file that is generated, there is a resource-ref to the data source. I was hoping that change the data source name it would help, but it didn't work. What is - it used to in this context?

    Thank you
    Luis

I forgot to add, so in case some time later and you want to update the connection to your service details, all you have to do is to add the following entry in your weblogic.xml:
    .

    JDBC/ref_name_from_web. XML
    JDBC/new_jndi_name

    .
And in this way, you will not have to change any code level to point your web service to another connection.

  • Basic question on the lines in a text box

How do you get a stroke in a text box to automatically extend at the edge of the box?

If I could control the length of the lines as below just by resizing the text box.

    2009-05-11_122901.png

I know this is possible because I saw him in the old Pagemaker files.

Use a right-indent tab and apply underscore tab.

  • Question - integrate the shape text

I have text that overlays a circle. The text extends beyond the circle on the left and right sides. I am wanting to integrate my text in this circle, with my text being non-remplissage (taking on the background color). However, whenever I have incorporate the text that the middle part is very good (non-filled), but the letters circulating on the circle briefly take on the outlines incorporate it. For example, my "O" that rolls on the outline of the circle brings a part of the outline of the circle passing by my "O". How can I get the command to embed to account for the portion of the outline of the circle during the integration process? Maybe it's a question of how to eliminate the line after the fact, or possible, remove the outline of the front of circle to incorporate (don't know how). Appreciate any help.

    Kind regards

    Bryan

Put the text in vectorised text, use pathfinder at least before the type and the elected circle.

  • A question about the behavior of mode full-screen (1280 x 1024 1024 x 768)

    Hey guys.

I'm using VMware Workstation 6.5.1 on Windows 2000 SP4 as host and I use it to run Windows XP Pro SP2 on guest operating system

My screen in the host resolution is 1280 x 1024 and I need my windows desktop will remain at 1024 x 768 in mode full-screen(due to a certain application windows that don't work well in higher resolutions).

I have limited the maximum resolution of my guest operating system by manually adding the following two lines in the file .vmx with a text editor.

    svga.maxWidth = "1024".
    svga.maxHeight = "768".

So when I optimized the screen in my guest operating system, I have some display problems. Big black square appears as follows the movements of the mouse pointer.

Any feed back will be really useful.

    Thank you.

You don't need to change the settings of the virtual machine to do this. Go to Edition-> Preferences-> display-> check "Invited Stretch" or "Guest Center" depending on how you want the guest to watch.

  • Basic question on the monitoring of the slopes

WARNING: I am a logic pro x newbie.

I've set up an audio track:

No matter if the route of entry of surveillance is on or if it is enabled, the sound does not come out when the device is 'play' (i.e. I pressed the play button).

I would like to sound out so that I can practice parts and hear against the main device.  (If I press file rather than play, his fate against the main arrangement.)

I would also like to be able to record a track while another track is simply monitored. I use this during the recording of the complex vocal parts. I like to play the game with a hand on the piano while singing.

I understand there are solutions by always using the button 'record' and then removing the tracks. But this seems like a simple enough features that I think that it is probably a better way.

    Thank you

    Monitoring of entry

If you have an active Audio track only the follow-up entry button and not the record enable button, then you should hear the o of that Channel input Strip regardless you are in play or record Mode.

If you have the record enable button, then the behavior depends on the key 'Auto input Monitoring '. If active (recording ➤ Auto monitoring of entry), then the entry is muted during the recording Mode.

    Play with keyboard

About reading as well as MIDI, while recording audio, you're right, you need to create a workaround and because it is not possible "out of the box.  To play your MIDI keyboard, you must select a software Instrument track. If you have active recording an Audio track for recording, then this software Instrument track is also recorded in the recording Mode.

    Installation program:

Here's a pretty simple tip to have a dedicated software tool Track/Channel Strip which is always "playable (it requires a bit of knowledge of the environment):

    • In the environment, go to the layer 'click & Port '.
    • Create software Instrument Channel Strip and assign it to 255 Inst.
    • Load a Plugin Instrument (i.e. piano) on this channel strip
    • Drag an extra cable from the existing output of the object of "Entry Notes" to that Channel Strip object
    • (Optional) You can create a button object to control the Mute button of this channel strip. You can put this button on a separate layer of environment, make it a floating window and place convenient anywhere on your screen. You can even assign a button on your external MIDI keyboard to control this button so that you can play it "along keyboard' on and outside.

    What you have done:

    • Any incoming MIDI signal is now sent "parallel" to this software Instrument Channel Strip (255).
    • If you have created a track for this channel strip, you can have displayed it in the mixer (or you select the button display the mixer 'All')
    • When you play your external MIDI keyboard, it will be routed to the Channel Strip and you can set the controls on that strip of Chanel
    • Whenever you need to hear this channel strip, just mute it.
    • Your external MIDI keyboard will still be routed to any selected track in the track area and its MIDI signals can be recorded as usual.

  • A question about the predefined text typewriter and rates.

How can I do so that I had to have 2 pieces of text separated into 2 layers different length different, the typewriter effect works at the same rate for each of them? As in, I want to ensure that regardless of the amount of text has a line, she always "type" X-characters-per frame. I know how to set individual speed using key frames (text > host > range selector > opacity), but I want to so he types at the same pace.

If it helps to visualize it easier, I want to replicate the appearance of a of the classic RPG the text like in this video. No matter is the number of characters in each text box, he always hit the same rhythm of characters (unless you decide to speed it up); the only thing I can control is a general speed in which printed characters, but they never print the same pace, just print at a rate so that all characters in the layer out in x-amount of time.

Sorry if this is a difficult thing to explain, but someone capable of understanding how this is easier? Or do I just manually adjust each keyframe so that it seems to print out to a uniform speed?

How can I do so that I had to have 2 pieces of text separated into 2 layers different length different, the typewriter effect works at the same rate for each of them?

under set advanced the 'Index' units, set keyframes for start in the same place in time. your text will be held by index number of characters and not the percentage of all characters = same speed

I did thousands of transcripts in preset of the typewriter and many years ago, we found that the index is much better than percent for many reasons.

It is from the help files: text in After Effects animation

    Note:

You will be perhaps easier to think in terms of number of characters than percentages for the Start and End of a range selector property. To display these properties by number of characters (including spaces), choose Index for units in the advanced properties of a range selector group.

  • Question about the Maximum protection mode

DB version: 11.2.0.4 3-node RAC (primary)
    Platform: Oracle Linux 6.4

We are at the stage of the design of our installation of DR. This particular DB stores retail banking information. Each transaction is important.
So, we thought to have standby mode Maximum protection for our side. We have a good network of low latency. We expect not to have as a standby DB.

    Question1.
Lets say we have several sessions connected to the primary DB. In A meeting, for a particular Transaction if for any reason any primary DB gets acknowlegment on standby it again is applied while the session will hang. Right? What other sessions connected to the DB? They all have to wait until the transaction of A Session receives a confirmation of sleep, that take effect pending?

Question2. Is there any circumstance that the primary DB stops due to lack of transportation again in Maximum protection mode?
