Batch processing of an image by adding a different number of a list

Hello

I wonder if the next task is possible with Photoshop or not:

I want to take a picture, add the first number and save it under a new name. So, I want to return to the same base (without all the numbers) image, add the second number in the list and save it again with his own name. And so on...

I hope it is more or less clear. So I have a list of numbers and a base image, and I want to create for each separate image number containing that number.

I know that I could solve this problem via a small program of coding, but before starting I would like to assure you that there is already a solution to this problem. So my question: is the batch of Photoshop in a position of more help in this case?

Thanks in advance for any helpful answer!

See you soon

    Is it possible to batch processing with an image overlay in FW CS4?

    I'm trying to resize several hundred images and place the corners rounded on them.

    If this cannot be done in FW, does anyone know of another program that could do this?

    Hi Marje,

    It is possible to include resizing and image overlay in a custom Fireworks command that can be used in batch mode.  For starters, you can check out this tutorial which deals with the first step.

    This article describes how to perform the resizing of the image and the overlay (in this case, a watermark) and then how to record the steps and turn in a custom control that can be used later in batch mode.

    Once you have registered the custom command, click on file > Batch process, follow the steps below:

    1. In the first window, select the images you want to process.
    2. On the next screen, open the drop-down menu commands , and select the custom command you created (it will probably be on the bottom of the list), and then click the Add button to include in the list of the batch process.
    3. Finally, on the next screen select the location of the processed files and possibly save the script of commands for later use.

    Good luck!

  • Batch processing of multiple image files?

    Hello

    I want to apply an effect that is available in a plugin PS for a sequence of images, which is then converted into a video.

    Once I have the first image as I want, how I have lots the rest... ?

    See you soon!

    In PS, I would create an Action so that the first image (the first image in your sequence). Then go to automate > batch (exact syntax will differ from the version of PS), point to the Source folder, set the Destination folder, verify that the Action appears and then simply press OK. According to effects/filters/Styles, the number of images, and the speed of your system, you need get a cup of coffee, or he could go so fast, that you spend only an anticipation of the moment.

    I do 100 images with scale, Mode change and can treat ~ 300 Photoshop PSD in moments - no time for coffee!

    Once completed, simply import your sequence of images into the Destination folder. Never leave, never PS crush the originals with a backup in the same folder.

    Good luck

  • Images of different dimensions of batch processing

    Hi all!

    I tried to do for a while and I'm stumped, so I would like to know if it is still possible. I'm trying to understand how to create an action that...

    • Takes a jpg file
    • draw a shape
    • mask of the image
    • Adds another form

    So that I can batch process a ton of images.

    I managed to do something like what I'm after, but the thing I have a problem with, is that the original images will be have different dimensions.

    I have attached a picture for example that would be the original (start.jpg), which is the desired end result (done.jpg) and the .psd (link)

    IF to do a step at the heart of the action where I need to intervene and to resize the image flat slightly to fit the canvas it will save even one time charge.

    I know the opening and registration will be supported of the functionality of treatment using batch and the result must be a jpg file.

    Any input is welcome!

    This Script would choose one or the other Action depending on whether the active image is wider than it is tall.

    You must insert the correct names for appropriate Action and the defined Action, however.

    // 2012, use at your own risk;
    #target photoshop
    if (app.documents.length > 0) {
    var myDocument = app.activeDocument;
    if (myDocument.width > myDocument.height) {
              app.doAction("Canvas landscape", "bfunk")
              }
    else {
              app.doAction("Canvas portrait", "bfunk")
              }
    };

  • Is this possible? -Combination of 2 images batch processing

    I haven't used Photoshop before and I need some advice before you buy.

    I create animations using Rhino/Bongo/VRay (if it does not mean something to you, it's the Keyframe/NURBS Modeler facilitator /Renderer) whose output is a large amount of still images, each image can get coded in an AVI file. Before the encoding process I would like to combine two sets of images. A series is the perspective view of the object of the animation and the other is a superposition of the company logo and animated data views. All images of these two series being unique, I would like to combine animation-001 with overlay-001, 002-animation with overlay-002 and so on until the end. Note the overlay is a PNG with transparent background.

    Is Photoshop the right tool for me?

    Bravo for any help on this matter,

    Danny

    The bridge is Adobe file browser application. It is more than that, but it opens folders of files that you can select and do different things with.

    With a program called ExtendScript Toolkit that I use to write the JavaScript for Photoshop, Photoshop should have. I am very inexperienced with VBScript, so I could probably help you with that.

    Using a simple script, you could do a fileset at a time and the process through them with the batch processing function, so it will open the animation file, find the overlay file appropriate, combine and save in a combination file, and then close all 3. Then move on to the next round. Or you can configure the script to loop through doing the same thing.

    Photoshop allows you to run scripts on the fly. Go to file > Scripts, and you will see a list of script files preloaded. You can click Browse to run one that has not been preloaded.

    To preload a script, it must be copied to the appropriate folder where Photoshop load scripts at startup. Usually the folder where the application is running from / presets/Scripts settings

  • Batch processing issues

    I'm scanning a large volume of slides. I'd like to be able to batch process them for the basic settings. I found more frequently than scans of opening, adding a curves layer and hit the auto button does a good job at the beginning of the restoration of the color. I could add an action and that with the exception of a question of batch processing.

    ISSUE - when I check "Override Action" save under "orders", the File Naming section is grayed out. So I did not have the ability to specify the naming of files when I run a lot.

    QUESTION - It seems that when I check "remove color profile warnings" the batch will continue using the color space of the image to be processed, not the working color space. It's fine for what I do now. However if I wanted to use the working color space, I simply include a step in the action to convert the color profile of the job profile?

    The Destination drop-down list control if these fields are assets or grayed out, if you change from Save & Close file you will be able to change these fields. Note, however, that if you use the folder option, then you will need a step save slot in your action otherwise they will not be saved.

    If you want to automatically convert the images you open the color profile of work then go to Edition-> color settings and change the second dropdown RGB to convert RGB working.

  • Batch processing and learning actions?

    Hello world

    Some of you may know me from the Dreamweaver forum, where I am the unfortunate creator of this discussion.

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/2153994

    I'm virtually useful a newbie to Photoshop, as I the have not used since version 5, (i.e. 5 CS5 not) I use it since version 2 and I'm sorry to do this, I moved to Fireworks, and while I don't know how to use Fireworks batch processing, I have no idea how to achieve what I want to do in Photoshop.

    Nancy O, suggested I use Photoshops 'action' to achieve my goal, so to that end, I was wondering if anyone could suggest for me the quickest and easiest for 'Up to speed' with the use of batch Photoshops / action.

    All suggestions, be it video or written would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your time

    The plugin Image Processor Pro script is more powerful.  It may even be in steps of actions. The setting that you use in the dialog box save the scripts > PLC > Image Processor pro... step will be recorded in the action by the plugin script step.  When you play the Image Processor Pro script action will work around poster its dialog box and use the setting saved in step, unless you put on the dialog box in the action stage.  I have a single action has a length of Image Processor Pro.  This same test of the Image Processor Pro script save 9 jpeg files for each file processed image ration cropped and sized for the different aspects and dimensions of the screen I.

  • Script Batch convert all linked images?

    Does anyone know of a script that I can use to convert all my files related to JPEG? I have to give the ID file to the client with hundreds of related images and don't want to have to convert all the files PSD one (and link).

    Bonus: change all the names of the CUSTOMER files - NAME_001.jpg

    Thank you!!

    In my opinion, this can be done without the help of a script.

    You'll need a PhotoShop action and batch processing in PhotoShop to make the conversion from PSD files to jpg.

    Then in InDesign connect images PSD selected in the folder of links with the command bind again file Extensions that allows to choose the good suffix, jpg, be reprinted from the PSD with the same name, but a different suffix. (InDesign CS5 and above)

    EDIT

  • PS CS4 - how to perform batch processing which includes 'save' step and saves all the layers in PSD?

    I created an Action in PS CS4 to apply NIK Color Efex Pro4 to a JPG image, adjust the opacity of the layer CEP4 to 50% and then file > save as to a file in PSD format in order to keep the CEP4 and background layers in PSD format.  It worked well with the image that I was working in the creation of the Action - reopening of the PSD file, it showed the two layers as I wanted.

    But when I opened then four other JPG images, went to file > automate > Batch and applied this new Action to all open files, recording in the same folder as the original image, when I created the Action, all the PSD files created by the process of batch contain only one layer (Layer 0).  How can I me Batch process and always the CEP4 and the background of the layers in the PSD file?

    I swear it worked in the past, but I must be missing something.

    Thanks in advance for any help offered.

    See if implementing during a stage of duplicate layer in the dispute before the color efex pro stage of the work.

  • Is there an easy way of permutation of batch process chain?

    I create an IR time-lapse, and I need an easy/effective way to exchange the red/blue channels and do a few other things in Photoshop before transferring to Lightroom to finish the job. I know that you can batch for recalibration and whatnot, but it would really help if you could batch process basically everything that you have done in the history of an image in a set of 300 + and press 'go '. Anyone know if this is possible and how?

    Do an action that uses the channel mixer adjustment to apply the swap to channel, and then use the batch processing command to apply to your images folder.

  • Why do I need to use GIMP for batch processing?

    Dear Adobe,

    I am grinding wheel through thousands of images to display and model for an online retailer. Masks and Photoshop layers came in quite handy when I was doing the models

    but now that it's went down to reuse these templates, I have to look elsewhere.

    1. why any other piece of software on the market have a lot deals section, and yet you hide your?

    2. why not the image processor to resize horizontally and vertically, although it claims? In fact, he won't distort the image to resize, which in fact, I want to do it. I had

    to download GIMP to achieve this functionality, as well as to specify the output file and change the dpi. These are all included in GIMP but not Pshop. Thank you for that. And do not tell

    ordering me to go to stocks. It is perhaps useful to something of things, but it is hardly the best way to do this, save your exact measurements and then by saving or not saving, then

    See what's happening. Like I wanted it was in GIMP and its pathetic that 20 years, Pshop still doesn't have a credible batch processor, or tell me where it is now.

    Additional charges for this maybe?

    3. what has changed in Bridge CS6 since CS4? I see absolutely nothing different, but then the output is still limited to PDF and "WEB GALLERY" a dysfunctional glob

    code easily came out of jquery, but maybe you have impoved ending. My last experience with web gallery was so dysfunctional that I'll just stay to fix what has

    under the hood myself. I mean web gallery used as flash, then something else which is not common. Let's just agree that this is an option of amateur. Of course

    I don't know why 'exit' may include other options for the batch processing of files, since actually rename the batch works, but you are the decision makers.

    4. its too bad. This work has taught me a lot of new things about layering, masks and the functionality of the configuration section, I have no qualms with, however,

    considering how many companies you have purchased, you may want to include tons of features used in these programs, but it would be too the patterning

    expenses of Mgmt. Maybe we'll just fix the views of the window that we broke in CS4 and call it a new version.

    5. thanks for forcing me to discover GIMP, that does not demand a thing. I don't really like to be there yet, but we'll see if that changes with time. They actually have some

    different filters and rendering options that Adobe could have included years there are firearms, but even once, there are just simply not enough money for everyone at Adobe.

    Why?  Simple: because you know not how to use the application.

    You know, it never fails: the strongest mug shot, plus the likelihood of PEBKAC.

    In closing, I would like to remind you that you are not addressing Adobe here in these forums from user to user.

  • Batch processing with an Action

    Hi all

    I created an Action in Photoshop CS5.  I saved this action in a .atn file, then I loaded in the CORRECT for PES 10 directory.

    Once in PSE, I can go to the stock and I can see and use correctly said Action.  So I know it works.

    My question/problem: is it possible to batch processing using 'Treat multiple files' or something else using this Action?  I know there's the CS5 option is there and it is quite simple, however, I do not see this option anywhere in the PSE.

    I hope I'm missing something or there is just something I do not know.

    I appreciate any assistance.  Thanks in advance.

    You need to open the BatchWin, atn file located in (this is for win 7 and vista x 64) in cs5 (this are just actions that uses of elements to treat multiple files)

    (do not forget to put a copy of the original file somewhere in case you need it)

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Photoshop elements 10\Locales\en_US\Support Files

    Then add the steps in your action to the list, without any opening in the action and you will need to add the record at the end of the action (the format you want to save the files in).

    Then, save the game and put it in the folder of media files.

    added action example:

    example of how it looks in the elements:

  • FDQM replace it with security in batch processing does not

    Hi all

    I know that there is a recent post on this subject (October 2010), then of the apology for opening a new thread, but I have tried everything and cannot get this to work.

    We use version 11.1.2 for HFM and FDM and you want replaced by the method of security in our batch, as some data will be entered manually in HFM and we do not want this deleted when the package is run.

    I tested using RRS.txt, RS.txt and R3.txt as the last part of my batch file name and have inserted a code in the action script LOAD to the output of the objLoadParam.varOptMethodValue which controls the value of the load method. In any case, it returns "0" (0 - Replace). To test again, I tested with RR.txt, RM.txt and RA.txt, and in these cases the return value is '0 ', '1' and ' 2' respectively as wudl expect (although she does not mention the possibility of using the 'Fusion' in the documentation).

    This could be a bug in the adapter for 11.1.2?
    Someone has seen this before and have a way to fix this?

    We believe that we have a work around, but it is not really ideal, if it is a feature that should be there by default.

    Thank you very much
    Stuart

    It is currently as a product enhancement request. It will be added at a later date as a load method for batch processing, however it is not currently available.

  • Out of sync a station with the model of batch process?

    Hello

    My project has 5 test stations are run in parallel. I decide to use the batch process model because I want that they start and stop together. Next to startup and shutdown, I have some part in the need for synchronization of the entire test sequence. But in 5 stations, I want a workstation without flash sync to these steps. I tried to use the commands synchronize with the precondition, but it looks like that other stations are waiting for that one I jump the sync. My other option uses rendervous with number of parallel thread total is - 1. I test it and it works. But I still want to know if I can use batch synchronize step or not because it offers synchronization of start and exit synchronization.

    Thank you!

    NTT says:

    Doug,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I want to have something happening parallel with other threads, but without effect by steps of synchronization batch. I have several workstations parallel to the Assembly line. They are sync due to the pick and place. But I want to have a process is functioning as the station manager who keep track of USE between the train station and other site conditions such as pressure, temperature.

    Thang

    As a general rule, the intent of the TestSockets in the process templates is that they will have a 1 to 1 with DUT match, taking your 5th corresponds to an object to measure? In other y 5 DUT tested at the same time? DUT often need things like logging database or report generation. Your 5th decision-making requires the generation of reports? If not maybe this 5th Jack is really more than one thread of utility and creating a new thread or performance during execution makes sense for her. If your 5th instead making it really fits under test DUT in parallel enitrely separately from others the DUT then maybe you should start up a new run for the socket using the sequential model and just run as your other shots are running with the model of batch processing.

    So, it really depends on what you use this 5th station/thread to find out which method would probably work better.

    Hope this helps,

    -Doug
