  You can ignore Safe Mode and everything just put new battery on the right in the phone and go into Normal Mode.   See, normally any battery charge lasts for 1-2 days BB (depending on use)...

  N keep press the BB button pressed for 2 seconds, this will show the apps running in the background... r normally apps like home, identified calls, browser, BBM n Messages should be there, not to mention that these if there are all the other apps, close them... Applications running in the background consume battery...

  Help! I have the 8900 and yesterday downloaded the new software V5 (I now V5.0.0.681), I also downloaded world apps and scan a single application the QR. I was surprised last night to get a warning of low battery, that I did not use the phone but recharged during the night when even and the battery is fully charged this morning. Now, 90 minutes later, the battery is at 50% power, and I did not use the phone at all (locked keyboard and black screen).

  I think you can try two things: the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

  Soft reboot:
  1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
  -Alt
  -Right shift
  -Remove
  (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

  Hard reboot:
  (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
  (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
  (3) replace the battery
  (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

  When I reinserted it all my media files - videos, sound time and pictures - were gone.

  This happens usually when the battery is too hot. If the battery is not hot then you may have a problem with the charger. Try another charger, if possible. If this is not the charger, then it is possible there is a hardware problem with the device and I'd recommend getting a warranty Exchange.
