  Download the operating system for the carrier and use the Application Loader within the Desktop Manager software (that came with the box) and select Arabic with the language options (if it is an option).

  Alternatively you could install the operating system of an Arab company (is to delete the vendor.xml file), but this is not recommended.

  The operating system of software downloaded from the Blackberry site contains all of the files required to recharge the o/s.
  The Desktop Manager software is NOT necessary!

  Once downloaded and installed, follow these instructions:

  • Download the file from the OS from the website of your carrier to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  • Go to c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  • Plug in BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of data you need to back up and restore during the process.   This happens usually when the battery is too hot. If the battery is not hot then you may have a problem with the charger. Try another charger, if possible. If this is not the charger, then it is possible there is a hardware problem with the device and I'd recommend getting a warranty Exchange.
