Battery management software

I have a new HP spectrum 13D-1300 I7/8 GB of RAM/256 SSD/Win8.1 pro

I was hoping to find pre-installed HP utility software for management of battery charge. Unfortunately, I do not see on the system. On other ultrabooks I owned (not HP), it is a software utility that allows you to establish the maximum less than 100% battery charge when the machine runs on current alternative constantly. This expands considerably the life of the battery by keeping to the maximum charge of % 60, which is optimal for the longevity of the battery. Someone knows if HP this download offer or purchase and if not, if there is a 3rd party software available for it? I searched without success and any information would be helpful.

Hi sootnsmoke

I'll tell you my experience, manufacturing of laptop (not HP) created a battery management software to manage their laptop batteries, the software costs only battery up to 80% and keeps the remaining 20% UN used, they thought that this might give the longevity of the battery, but you know what happened after that 20% got spoiled because she never used , so they informed us to remove this software also now, they took this software of their new products... I think it's the reason why

  • W550s: 40% to 90% battery management does not

It seems that the battery Manager software is buggy. Can someone explain the bahvior I see?

New W550s running Windows 7 Pro, includes only rear battery external. Since I typically leave it plugged, I took the advice of Lenovo power manager as well as a custom profile fresh levels which should allow the battery discharge to 40% and then load it up to 90%. I saw what this once, but now it is just stuck to one level.

Here is a recent experience. Computer is plugged, the level is 90%. I unplug it and work for a little while and drops to 85% level. I Plug and level remains at 85% - does not drop, is not going to the top. A few days later, I unplug and work and eventually the battery falls to 65%. Use it to back in days later, he is still 65%, even if I continue to use that plugged while.

I don't want to have to manually manage the battery, but that seems to be the only thing that works!

The current behavior is intentional behavior.

It there is no real way to do what you described, except Power Manager clearly has a similar function to operate on battery even with attached AC (Peak Power Scheduler in power programs).

  • A M40X-112 battery calibration software

    Hello.

I wonder if there is any software calibration of the battery for my M40X-112.
I know that many laptops have this feature, usually in the BIOS. Unfortunately I do not see this in the BIOS or installed WinXP Home.

    Can someone help me?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Hans

Sorry but I have no explanation for this. If you can't find a solution yourself why you don t contact partner services and ask them what may be the problem.

Sometimes the battery may present a false reading. In this case, it is recommended to reinstall the power management software. If you want to check the Toshiba download site and try to reinstall the latest version for your model of laptop.

  • Yoga 500 - missing in the download section power management software

My Yoga 500-ACL is formatted empty (no recovery partition) and with an installation clean windows 8.1, which is excellent.

However, the battery charge threshold is blocked to sixty percent and I don't see that the power management software is available in the section download to support.lenovo

It would be great if the power management software would be made available or any other solution is at hand. Preinstalled software, isn't supposed to be available online? Thanks in advance for help or advice.

Of course, should you add it. This software will allow you to change the threshold of battery charge on 500 of Yoga

  • Battery management or power?

According to Power Manager (2.5), my battery is in good condition. But when I'm running on the battery, everything shuts down after a few minutes when the gauge indicates that the battery is about 85% charged. Can I plug, turn it on and the battery meter indicates that it is 8% charged and load. It is extremely annoying. It's happened to me before and I've updated the power management software and things have improved. I've updated again (2.5) and I have a problem everything again. What should do?

Try the method of BIOS, I've mentioned, but it really looks like a physical hardware problem with the battery.

iOS is not running on MacBook Pro.  To find your Macintosh operating system, go to menu-> this Apple Macintosh Apple.

  • Battery Manager is too autonomous.

I really like using 'eco Mode' of the battery Manager to stop the charge to 80%, if I want to keep my laptop connected for a long time. Even when I'm mobile, I have yet to more than 80% charged battery until I'm at a place fixed & powered again.

Why can I not pay Manager battery to KEEP the eco mode game, regardless of how many times he sees that I am using the battery? If I know I'm going to need 100% of expenses for a longer stay mobile, I can put normal charge mode myself when I am charge before leaving.

I want my battery to last as long as possible in what concerns the total number of years & months holds a decent amount of load. 1 year, I get about 4.5 hours of use between 80% and 10% battery, WiFi, without the brightness of the screen covering or even turn off the backlight on the keyboard. Fees of 100%, the machine believes that 6 hours of use, but experience tells me that I can wait to see that figure drop quickly if I use 100% of cycles regularly.

I'm the only person who'd rather have a computer battery laptop reliable 4hrs for 2-3 years, instead of a battery of 6 h that turns into a no charge after 1 year battery?

So... There is no way to set the mode of operation of the battery Manager... ?

If I need to turn on or off the Eco Mode, I first provide administrative permission to access the program, and then make the change I want. Battery Manager, on the other hand, can simply cancel my selection without administrative authorisation. Why can't this behavior go off?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   I tried to scan the area of the Image, PhotoSmart, but get error that it is impossible to initialize the printer and go set up to the Director.

Thanks - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks – IT WORKED!  I think that some the most of the problem was installed several.  By uninstalling and from scratch, everything works.

  • Battery monitoring software shows 0% of costs - Satellite 1900

My Satellite 1900 ceased to charge the battery. It works very well on sector and says he is in charge, but when you check the Xantrex battery it says 0% fees. Up to this point, the battery appeared well with use of 1-2 hours to charge.

Is this a problem with the computer or battery, monitoring software, or the battery would have an instant failure? The computer had not been moved since the office then had not been dropped or hit.

I put t think there is a problem of battery or material. Looks like that the laptop works properly with the power of the battery.
Try to access the Toshiba Power Saver and go to the last tab called battery power meter.

Here, you can click the icon for individual battery for more information. Maybe the setting should be reset only.

  • Need a Wi - Fi for Satellite L755 Manager software

After I've upgraded to Windows 8 last year I'm confused in the face of the connection to the WiFi of my Toshiba Satellite L755, even me, I pilot last installed for Wi - Fi, but there is no software that compatible with my laptop Wi - Fi Connection Manager, I try several times to connect to Wi - Fi and it connects by chance only.

Is there that a Wi - Fi connection for laptop Toshiba Manager software can be useful?

In general you don't need special software for WLAN connection and it should work with Windows settings only.
Maybe it sounds stupid now what software do you mean exactly? ConfigFree maybe?

Wireless network adapter must be properly activated so that your computer can detect your WLAN. When you click on the WIFI symbol in the taskbar you will see listed all networks wireless detected in your area. Click on your WLAN and click on Connect. Of course you should choose option to connect automatically, so each time when the laptop detects your mobile phone WIFI connects automatically and you should have full access to the Internet.

  • Cannot pair the BLACKBERRY 9700 with P300 Desktop Manager software

    Hello

I hope someone can help. Im running a P300 of Toshiba Bluetooth enabled cell phone. Was there a Nokia N96 which paired no problem with PC Suite but ive tried everything with this Blackberry and the Desktop Manager software and I can't recognize the Blackberry works well with USB. IM using Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba 7.0, if that helps at all. Softphone is to date.

Sorry if its been answered a million times but his drives me crazy, I don't want to have to take the cable around.

    Can anyone help at all?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I doubt Bluetooth problem s I mean that you were able to establish a connection with the Nokia mobile phone. Up to BT stack is OK!
Did you ask the BLACKBERRY support for some details and additional information how do I pair it with a computer? I think that you should do this!

  • T460: Battery-management-Bug in BIOS update 1.10?

    Hello

A week ago, I've updated the BIOS of my Thinkpad T460 of 1.07 Version 1.10 and then some time later I noticed that from there on an internal battery pack was released before externally. Normally, it should be the other way around.

At first, I couldn't imagine it has something to do with the new BIOS but today I installed the old Version 1.07 again once and now it works exactly as before the update and battery packs are unloaded in the right order.

I have also heard Lenovo engineers and programmers read in this forum and so I decided to write about this problem here. It is perhaps possible to fix this bug in Version 1.10 with a new BIOS update.

    01/05/2016:

Today, I installed the update again to see if it is a problem that appear each time and at the beginning it was fine, one internal was released in first then the external track. But when I started to load my thinkpad I noticed that now, right here, it's the other way round, so the external battery has been charged to the first and not internal, as would be normal. So I think it's really a T460 BIOS Version 1.10 bug affecting battery management.

  • .28 battery Manager (use) accurate?

    Something weird with my phone.

For a week now under battery Manager > battery use phone indicates that Maps use 99% of the battery. (As in, cards and nothing else, no display, idling, nothing)

However, it doesn't show up as an application running and physically, I did not open maps for about a week.

I noticed something like this, after that I ran this live wallpaper with the map on this issue.

  • After Vista Ultimate Clean install battery Manager will not work Rundll32.exe error at startup

I did a clean install of Windows XP SP3 Vista Ultimate SP 1. It was a total reload once installation is complete I used the insall system update all the drivers. Now Manager of battery will not work right, when I boot it hangs with an error rundll32.exe. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and allowed me at least open the program a bit, but there is no power management in the Manager. He says that I can create a new, but he does not appear once it is made. I can't counter is displayed in the taskbar and at this point I'm kind of at a loss.

    Any help would be great

    Thank you

I have actully solved my problem. What I had to do was reboot the machine and after Vista installation was done I did the installation of battery first Manager and just downloaded from the section the T61 drivers (without using the update system) then once the battery Manager installation manual was full (it was then works well) I ran the system update to install the rest of the drivers and utilities Lenovo. If apperentally battery meter do not be installed via updater. My sugestion would be so to reload the machine once more and battery Manager install before running system update this is what worked for me.
