  It's very strange to say, how long your unit can work with battery power.
  For example: If you watch DVDs or play games, so you can use your laptop about 1.5 to 2 hours. On the other site to normal use with say MS Office applications, it is possible to use the machine more than 3 hours. The battery power is therefore highly variable.

I bought the battery 8 cells (40Y7003) the Lenovo Web site suggested according to my model number, but it does not fit!   So I want just to renew my old driver ATI MOBILITY x 700, it is now v6.14 and when I checked the site driver ATI, they have the latest one, v7.12. But the driver did not work on my laptop Satellite M70. It runs first validation to check if they can install the entire driver in my system, and it just says: "thank you for your interest in CATALYST, unfortunately, this software update can not be installed on your system, please contact the manufacturer of your laptop for the driver updates.

  Then I managed to get in this site, and I can't find what I need here: (.) So, my question is, does anyone know where I can download a good driver for ATI MOBILITY x 700 driver on my M70 laptop?

  As far as I know for Satellite L650 exist no high capacity batteries but only one original with capacity 4400mAh.

  Do not use other batteries which are not compatible to your laptop model and this largest battery does not fit into your laptop.

  What you should try is to reduce power consumption. Use the power saver Power plan. Reduce the brightness of the display, close all unnecessary applications and disable all devices that you don't need.

  In many cases (also for the M70 Sat) battery RTC is soldered on the motherboard. In this case it cannot be replaced

  The RTC battery provides the power to keep the current date, time and other configuration information in memory, while the computer is turned off. The RTC battery is charged by the adapter or the main battery while the computer is on.
  So theoretically if the RTC battery is empty, you could load it again to connect the AC adapter and execution of the laptop for about 24 hours.

  In my opinion your laptop must certainly have reason to turn off. According to the description of your problem my first property thereon is overheating. No one can say with certainty what is happening with your laptop here in the forum, but if you use your laptop in an intensive way, it is possible that the fan in the lower draw more than dust and now the dust blocks, cooling system. If you use your laptop on your lap cooling fan is blocked and material cannot be cooled properly.

  Usually when the material temperature is too high, laptop turns off simply without any warning. Initially, try putting the laptop to the upper post (four books) to be sure that your laptop can take a deep breath and just see if laptop will run a bit more as before.

  Anyway, it is not a solution and I think you should clean up your beautiful Satellite M70. Standby power is another issue and we can discuss it later. ;)

  the content of the extracted files in order to run the installation.

  Extract the files to a folder on the desktop and run setup.exe from there.
  Please post the result.
