BBC iPlayer TV Live plays not not in Firefox

I can receive BBC iPlayer catch-up and Live TV on my desktop of Windows 7 without problem using Firefox 20.0. My laptop and Notebook also run in Windows 7 and seem to be set up just like my PC. However, I can't get BBC Live TV using Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer 10. I get the message "content is not working. My download speed is not the problem. What else goes wrong on my laptop and a notebook?

Is the plugin Flash installed and working?

  • BBC Iplayer - Flash Player Error ("content does not seem to work")

    Hello

    I use a Mac OSX El Capitan-version 10.11.3

    Browser Safari version 9.0.3

    Flash Player version 21.0.0.197

    The problem:

    Various shows on the BBC Iplayer play and displays the following message: this content does not seem to work. "Please try again later".

    It occurs on all the shows, but a bit random. When I right click in the window of the video I get this, tells me that there is a "Flash 1024 error."

    Screen Shot 2016-03-27 at 3.39.47 PM.png

    When I copy the content, the error is:

    Error code: EmpBaseErrorVO

    code = 1024

    type = either reading is possible due to a mistake of the mediation

    Details =.

    1026

    severity = critical

    responsibility = MediaSelector

    Info = 1026

    I tried constantly to turn ugly. No online forums provide clarity. Can someone from Adobe explain please what means this error and what I can do to solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

    This started after 21.0.0.197 updated?  It worked very well in the previous (21.0.0.182) version?

    You have installed/activated advertising blockers?

    You access the site through the VPN?

    You have installed security software/utility?  If so, which?

    It works with other browsers (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)?

  • BBC iplayer is not AirPlay APPLETV since recent iOS upgrade 9.3.3. I used 2 iPads and 2 iPhones to do for at least two years, but now all content not mirroring BBC iplayer blocking Apple TV... Netflix still works!

    I used AirPlay Apple TV from Mac, iPad and iPhone without a problem for a while. Recently, just after the update to iOS 9.3.3 BBC iPlayer will not AirPlay without mirroring. If the mirroring, content blocks once streaming begins. All the settings are correct for the network and devices. Everything is up-to-date with the latest versions. Other media such as Netflix and Filmon still AirPlay perfectly if I suspect a conflict between BBC iplayer (who has not had an update for several weeks) and iOS 9.3.3 (which has been updated a few days ago and coincides with the beginning of the problem). Has anyone else experienced this problem and, if so, found a fix?

    Thank you

    John

    Equipment: Air of iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4s, 5s, gen Apple TV 3 iPhone, iMac 21, MacBook Air 13, Wifi lan 12 + Mbps.

    No, I cannot repeat your experience, your questions seem to be unique to you and your establishment.

    Try these steps, check to see if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

    1. Check AirPlay is on the Apple TV (turn market if it already is)
    2. Check that both devices are on the same network (settings > Wifi on the mobile device and the settings > general > network, on the Apple TV).
    3. Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
    4. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
    5. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    6. Restart your computer or mobile device.

    If you're still having problems, try to use 802.11n for wifi if you currently use 802. 11B or 802. 11 g.

    If your problem is AirPlaying starting a computer, try turning off bluetooth

  • BBC iPlayer does not directly load from my Firefox menu bar

    I can't load the sites of BBC iplayer directly from my bookmarks menu which is frustrating. I to the home/root of BBC iplayer homepage and access the site specific for example BBC One from there.

    It works very well.

    Can anyone tell how I can solve this problem in the case otherwise I will need to go the browser of Microsoft Edge.

    Hi, sorry for the delay. BBC1 works for me a bookmark - http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone

    So to remove all references to the BBC, as indicated under the heading "How to remove a single website to my story?" in this article - delete navigation, search and download history on Firefox, then try again the site (not related to an old favorite). Note: It may take a few minutes to complete the removal.

    If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

  • BBc Iplayer does not download

    I've been downloading programs from BBC Iplayer on my netbook with windows 7 starter for several years now. A few weeks ago it stopped working. The program I want to appear in the box to download the BBC Iplayer, but the download does not start. I checked the log of the iplayer and get this message "Cannot find any media that must be downloaded.". I have not changed anything on my computer recently. I tried to uninstall and reinstall iplayer, I tried to disable the firewall and my antivirus but nothing works. Any ideas?

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that the BBC iPlayer has stopped working and I appreciate the efforts made to try to fix it. Let me ask you a few questions to understand the question better;

    BBC iPlayer Desktop is powered by Adobe Air (Adobe Integrated Runtime). When you install BBC iPlayer Desktop also install Adobe Air components. If you have already installed Adobe Air, you need to uninstall iPlayer and Adobe Air file and then remove the directory location where it is saved. Us you take expert advice from the BBC iPlayer team support on this point, advice that have the resources and tools to help you better.

    See the link for support options: contact the developer.

    Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • "This content is not working" BBC iPlayer on Windows 8

    Original title: iPlayer on Windows 8

    I have a Fujitsu "Lifebook" running Windows 8. At first, I had no problems streaming the BBC iPlayer. However, it seems more to be able to do. I have only a short distance in any program was getting the message 'this content doesn't seem to work. It's a new laptop barely a month. What is the most likely cause and is there a solution?

    Hi Ron,

    -How exactly do you use BBC iPlayer? Have you downloaded the desktop version, or using it in a web browser?

    -What is your default browser?

    Here are a few things you can try;

    Note: If you use Internet Explorer as the default browser, and then you try the following steps.

    - Delete temporary Internet files.

    1. Open Internet Explorer.

    2. Click on the Tools button , and then click Internet options.
    3. Click on the general tab, and then, under browsing history, click settings.

    4. In the settings dialog box, click Show files. Remove all files and folders in the Temporary Internet Files folder.

    5. On the tab general, under history, navigation, click on remove and delete browsing history, and check.

    -Update of flash player.

    If you use the desktop version of BBC iPlayer on the computer, and then uninstall and reinstall the program and check if it makes a difference.

    If the problem persists, please post this question in the BBC support forums to check if there is no fix that they can help you.

  • Video Flash HD plays not smoothly on all new Mac Mini

    I just bought a new Apple Mac Mini (model discreet 256 MB AMD Radeon HD 6630 M graphics card, OS X 10.7.3 2.5 GHz). Something that I bought was watching HD video on the BBC iPlayer here site in the United Kingdom, but I found that it will not play it smoothly. He falls frameworks, particularly noticeable in the camera pans. I use Safari and the current 11.1 Flash drive, but I tried the last release candidate too (11,2,202,221). Videos 720 p 50 Hz, H.264 encoded, 3.2 Mbps and 80-100% CPU usage, it seems to me that I don't have hardware acceleration. Enabling or disabling hardware acceleration does not seem to make a difference.

    I'd like to test with other Flash HD H.264 videos, but I can't find. Can someone point me to some?

    This video uses the video scene (fully accelerated).  Most of the YouTube video should perform this way.  I hope that content providers more will move to this new Flash technology in the future.

  • GIF images play not when I close Firefox and open it again.

    If I visit a website (for example http://www.sakisgouzonis.com) all GIF images work fine. But if I close Firefox and open it again (without hovering over the web page), all GIF images stand still. I have to spend on the web page for GIF images start to play.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
