BBM and javascript error console

This appears as the only error with GET in red

GET local:///chrome/webworks.js

I have this in the head section-

BBM registers/can set personal/status message / but cannot send invitation - grey button - (understand that the application must be registered in order to send the guest)

Just to check, you see invite them to download screen, but invite is dimmed?

This is the behavior of the 10.0.9.388 if the application is not in the world of BlackBerry.

  • JavaScript errors and can not find file

    Since the 13.0 FF update, I have problems whenever I click on a link that opens a new tab or window. When I do that, I get a series of about 2 dozen pop-up windows with various Javascript errors.

    Because they all speak Web Clipper (an Evernote Add On) I contacted their support.

    They sent me a link and instructions for updating Web Clipper, but when I try to install it, Firefox tells me...

    "Impossible to install Evernote Web Clipper because FireFox can't find the file necessary."

    After a lot of back and forth, including screen shots of all 24 popups, Evernote support sending told me it looks like a problem with Firefox.

    So here I am. If someone is able to help me with this, please speak slowly and distinctly. I'm pretty good at finding my way, but I * am * over 40 years!

    The only other idea I can offer to the top for you is uninstall Firefox and start with a fresh install. I know it's a huge drawback too, but it sounds like that old version of add on has really messed up the program itself.

    If you feel it you can always create a new profile to use and make it your defect: create a profile

    Profiles are basically as user accounts for firefox, thus creating a new it is like having a clean install (although not really) and it will not also all user data (as the history of passwords, Favorites, etc.) You may be able to migrate these data in it though: recovery of data from an old profile

  • It appears two times after the opening of Firefox ' [JavaScript error: 'dir is zero' {file: "file:///C:/Users/... and a new window opens each time."}] Opening of the modules in the Tools menu crashes Firefox.

    Whenever I open Firefox, or when a website automatically opens a new window (NOT when I open a new tab or window) error message is displayed twice: ' [JavaScript error: "dir is zero" {file: 'file:///C:/Users/Steve/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/k8nfi7qa.default/extensions/%7B0538E3E3-7E9B-4d49-8831-A227C80A7AD3%7D/components/nsForecastfox.js' line: 323}] "when calling method: [ffIDiskService::get]"
    Then, after closing the window of mistake twice, an AnyColor start/welcome screen appears in a second, open tab, which I then close to resume with the first tab (active). If I try to open the modules in the menu Tools, Firefox crashes and a script error message. It then becomes "unresponsive" and I have to force - close Firefox and reopen.

    This looks like a problem with an add-on, especially the Forecastfox extension. To test this try to disable the add-on in safe mode, for details on how to see the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems.

  • Microsoft Management Console error: this function is not supported on this system. Also noticed that the automatic updates did not install it and returned error 80070005.

    Original title: Microsoft Management Console this feature only is not supported on this system

    I am running Vista 32 bit Business since an administrator account.

    Recently, I noticed that the automatic updates did not install it and returned error 80070005.   After investigation, I found that I could not open mmc at all and always get the message "this function no is not supported on this system.  No major changes have been made to the configuration to trigger it and I can't watch the event log because it is in the MMC.
    I have studied this question in line and tool the following actions, which none worked:
    carried out a complete antivirus scan (I use Commodo internet security)
    created another account administrator
    has run SFC (no problem)
    has run the registry cleaner (no problem)
    has run msconfig.exe and disabled all the startup process
    updated windows right click and run as administrator
    Started in safe mode and tried all above
    After that, I don't know where to go... it doesn't seem to be a download for Windows vista to reinstall mmc.
    I have about 50 updates critical, sitting in my windows update that can not install because of this problem.  Can anyone help?
    Jeff

    Hello Helpmehelpme,

    First, I would check since it is professional Vista was that computer on a field of work or it was already on an area of work? There may be group policies that are in place that prevent to run MMC.

    When did start to happening? Is there anything new on the system which has been introduced into the environment (software, hardware)?

  • What are the causes error Console report an error of TelemetryStopwatch every few minutes?

    In debugging my JavaScript code, I find that the error Console is very useful. In addition to the errors in my code, it shows also the error messages on the other peoples code for sites that I opened. It is a little annoying, because I have to click 'Clear' of each time or to scroll to see my error messages.

    To simplify things, I closed all the tabs and windows except my own window (without tabs) where I test my JavaScript program. All other error messages disappeared — except one. This isolated from rest message every few minutes in PINK (I guess that means it's serious) even when the window of my program is the only one open, without any label of:

    Timestamp: 14/12/12 11:47:39
    Error: TelemetryStopwatch: key 'FX_SESSION_RESTORE_COLLECT_DATA_MS' has already been initialized
    Source file: resource://gre/modules/TelemetryStopwatch.jsm
    Online: 53

    I clicked on the Source file (it is blue and underlined in the original) and jumped up to a list of the source of some of the files from the package of Firefox.app inside. Lines 52 and 53 as follows:

         Cu.reportError("TelemetryStopwatch: key \"" +
                        aHistogram + "\" was already initialized");

    Any idea that this is?

    -Gil

    Hello gil, usually after a new installation of firefox ask you to help by sending performance data to mozilla. It's their own countries nicknamed 'telemetry', so the error you see is probably related to this feature.

    According to #732874 bug that will be fixed in the next version of firefox. in case you want, you can also disable the collection and presentation of performance data in Preferences > advanced > general for the moment...

  • My error console is always empty, even though I know that there are errors. Work in point 3.6. I noticed the problem around version 8.

    I'm a developer of web application using Windows XP. I work a lot in Javascript and depend on the error console to help debug my code.

    I have updated several times since the 3.6 version, when E.C. still worked. not sure when it stopped, but certainly by the version 8.

    Is there some ports it uses that would affect a victim?

    Any ideas would be more useful.

    No problem here with this error appears in the error Console Firefox 11.

    Have you tried resetting the prefs?

    Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:

    If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

  • Tabular with LOV PPR and popup errors

    I have a tabular presentation with several fields, which uses a value of selection as part of its sql source list.

    The fields are popup lov is that there are too many options for a selection list has.  While these work very well by default, so enable partial-page refresh in the form of tables and add a dynamic action for when the selection list is changed to refresh the form, whenever I try and add a new line of the window popup lov throw errors javascript 'object expected '.

    Someone else has come across this or know of a workaround?

    The apex is 4.2.5

    See you soon

    Have not met before, probably because usually I avoid discounting on tabular forms.

    But some research, I believe that what is happening is completely normal.

    When the page loads everything first, the init of the widget in a table row contains the javascript function calls. This means that the various manipulations on the plain text of it will also handle content of the script (and name etc.). What causes more functions to create the lines are created, as a function in the global scope is created for each line and each element.

    However, when page html code is retrieved on the server is placed in the document jQuery.html () - which "eats" the script tags and. After the update, the init line is reset. Because without script tags are present more that no function or is created. Where a javascript error because a nonexistent function is called.

    Note however, that this works when you add new rows in an index position that a line of work previously. In your case, if after the initial page load, you need to add a line, and then use the select that triggers the update, add a new line again no will cause an error. Features are created in the global scope, so they keep existing.

    Workaround solution? Yes, okay. Ugly as hell, but what is the source.

    1 / get elements of the last row lov

    2 / check these points if the associated function already exists

    3 / if not, go get the original function, discussed in the text, do replace it and add it to the global scope

    Add this to the declarations of functions and global variables:

    Only works for apex 4.2 AND a wizard generated in a table (not apex.item!)

    function myAddRow(){
      apex.widget.tabular.addRow();

      var lRowNum = apex.widget.tabular.gNumRows + apex.widget.tabular.gNewRows;

      $("#"+apex.widget.tabular.gTabFormReportID+" table.uReport tr:last span.lov input[type=text]").each(function(){
      var lName = $(this).attr("name");
      var lCheck = window["genList0_"+lName+"_"+lRowNum];
      var lOriginal = window["genList0_"+lName+"_$_row"];

      if ( typeof lCheck !== "function"){
        var lOld, lNew;
        lOld = lOriginal.toString();
        lNew = lOld.replace(/_0000/g,'_' + apex.widget.tabular.pad( ( lRowNum ), 4 ) );
        lNew = lNew.replace('p_element_index=" +  escape (\'0\')','p_element_index=" +  escape (\'' + ( lRowNum )+'\')');
        lNew = lNew.replace(/\$_row/g,( lRowNum ) );
        console.log(lNew);
        eval.call(window, lNew);
      };
      });
    };

    Change the button Add line to now call "apex.widget.tabular.addRow ()" but do call "myAddRow()".

  • How to open the mobile firefox error console?

    Hello! I developed a Web site for android devices, and for my case Firefox exceeds all other browsers. But the problem is that I don't know how to open the error console, which is absolutely necessary for a developer.

    I've seen some guides like this:
    https://quality.Mozilla.org/docs/mobile-Firefox/Firefox-mobile-enabling-the-error-console/
    that seems rather useful. However, I can't open the "preference" as he says.

    Any suggestions are welcome. I'm open if you want to use the console via a remote computer, as doing the Opera or Chrome; or simply view all on the mobile device itself. I'm also happy if anyone knows how to open the preferences window. I use Firefox 15 on Samsung Galaxy Tab.
