  You can enter the wrong email address. I tested 2 fake emails in the password reset page and received the green check mark telling me that the password reset emails have been sent. It is not a real confirmation that your e-mail address is used by Firefox accounts.

  This is done this way so that hackers and spammers can not cheat the system by typing many kinds of emails at random and wait to see if they get a confirmation 'this e-mail address is.   It's a scam!  There is no such promotion.  Do not click on links in the e-mail (e-mail even addresses).  Do not open attachments.  Do not attend all the sites suggested by email.  Do not call them or provide them with any personal information whatsoever.  Cannot access to your computer.  Add sender to Junk Senders list and delete the message.  I do not know what is the scam, but it's probably an attempt to identify the flight or to collect other information, or to sell you some product or service you don't need, or confirm your e-mail address, address is real so that they can add to a list of valid email addresses, and increase the amount of SPAM you receive.

  You have been a good idea to check first.  You yourself have saved a headache on the road.  Good job spots and confirm before doing anything.  Microsoft is not those promotions If you see other emails like this, or making phone calls claiming that they come from Microsoft, simply delete the emails and hang up the phone.
