• BDP-S570 - does not connect to internet via wifi

  I just bought this today and it does not connect to the internet via wi - fi. I'm entering properly (my iphone, ipad and computers connect very well). I called tech support and they had no idea what either. I then connected with an ethernet cable, updated to the latest firmware and tried again with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? It shows that the wireless is OK, but Internet Access - failed. When I return to the guests and have it analyzed the available networks, it shows that I am connected... something is weird. I'm back if I can't make it work in the next day or so.

  Network problems can certainly be difficult to diagnose.
  Here are some useful steps to check where your problem is.

  Check the IP address: is it 192.168.x.xx? or 169.xxx.x.xx
  If you have an address 169 it is a fake connect.

  What kind of network do you have? It's a Modem/Router combo? This is a modem connected to a router and then your Blu - ray player.

  the router/Modem combos are more complicated, and you need to consult your provider of Internet services (ISP) to connect to help. (maybe a MAC filtering problem?)

  If you have a problem with your Modem/Router try get a router and connect to the modem, you can have the best success with a stand-alone router you will have with a handset as they are less complicated to use.
  If you already use a stand alone, try to temporarily disable your security and test it without warranty.

  is the firmware updated on your router (not the S70 but the router) the latest firmware is sometimes useful.

• BDP 3100 Youtube freeze and Yupp TV does not work after the last firmware update

  Hello

  My Youtube app on the Bluray Sony BDP - S3100 drive freezes when I play any video. It says LOADING... and plays the video completely. But the Player hangs and I have to be able to market. This started happening since yesterday is to say 26/06/2013.

  The other problem is with the YUPP TV App.

  After my latest firmware upgrade June 4, 2013 live channels on the YUPP TV app does not work peoperly. It says loading and will market every 5 to 10 seconds. On demand videos are very good. This began to happen immediately after the upgrade on June 4, 2013 (M14. R.0136). but after that, there was a more updated firmware that says that connectivity issues fixed on 08/06/2013 (M14 Version. R.0138). I've updated on my player. Yupp TV questions are still there. YouTube has been fine since then, but then the Youtube above issue started happening since yesterday and I have reported to the Youtube community as well.

  Could you fix Yupp TV, I'm sure that updating the firmware.  Also please check if Yout tube is with the firmware...

  At least I'm not alone, until a few days earlier, alls well, now, I have the same problem, so that makes three of us.  New default factory setting does not so I think a firmware issue, all other channels & functions outside of youtube look... very annoying

• BDP - BX2 will not play Bluray Avengers

  Avengers bluray will not play. Player says "invalid" and the display shows "cannot play the disc. Now, I did all the troubleshooting listed: firmware update (didn't even until now to do) - doesn't not work, plugged in external USB hard drive - has not worked, turned off live BD - does not work, disconnect the player for several minutes-does not worked, even bought a second disc bluray, thinking that it was a damaged drive (now I get this extra money) n ' has not worked. Talked to esupport online twice, first it was helpful, secondly a step so they told me to call tech. So I called and associated with all that was on the list of troubleshooting I had already done. It takes a minute and told me that the update of the firmware, I did is the most common. He was released in June or July 2012. Large. Bad news is unfortunately the Avengers movie just released 09/25/12, requires an update to be played. Frustrated is not the word to describe how I felt. There is no update and the person cannot say when it will happen. I never had problems before with discs bluray up to now. This single disc. I report to the person on the phone that I read that this happens to many people (films I've heard about just to name a few-Avatar, Zookeeper, John Carter, etc.) ensuring work my other blurays and the DVD version of the film works. Can't watch the extra stuff on bluray today. Can't watch it tomorrow. I have just to sit and wait to see if they will never be firmware update so that it will work. Why should really ever be a problem. Seriously a Sony fan for a long time. I don't know if it's going to be much longer.

  We recently installed an h.323 gateway to a remote site and calls are flowing to the remote site over the WAN. I have now tried AAR configuration however, this does not work, can you help me?

  I'll put the bandwidth audio remote location from 1 to simlate the test. When I do the test call I get the following error "not enough of bandwidth.

  I made the following config in accordance with the instruction that I understood from Cisco

  1. automatic license replacing routing allow true in service settings

  2 created locations (UK & US)

  3. has created the aar_css for access to the PSTN

  4 created groups of aar with the pstn dialing rule

  5 added the UK phone to the AAR UK group and taking into account the AAR CSS access to the PSTN

  6 added line 1 (in a udp) to the AAR UK group.

  7 added the American aar group to the remote h.323 gateway

  Is that all that I'm missing?  I can provide more details if it helps?

  Yes AAR is only supported between phones registered to the same CUCM. Yes, BDP works with cisco devices. Decisions are made as you can see based on obtained information of the appellant and devices on destination. If cucm does not, he cannot call the AAR

• OTP-S5100 - "unable to start the server" - but he DOES not see my computer!

  I had a devil of a time with this option. Finally, and without provocation, the ability to reference the media from my computer suddenly started to work a couple of months. However, as I add new video files, new files do not show upward (but in the same directory as the others). Finally, I tried to move all files to a new directory and then he set up through media center to access this directory.   I checked the settings of my PC (Windows 7) - Home Group (check), automatic WMP streaming (check), firewalls (none... check). New programs (none... check). Nothing seems to work.

  You may need to update your content to media library... I don't know how, but I use Tversity and I must have analyze directories from time to time.

• Help! -PDE-S3100 Bluray does not read My Passport USB hard drive.

  My brand new BDP-S3100 works well with everything... except that it does not read my hard drive 1 TB passport. I know that the hard drive and cable are fine, because I can access and play movie files using my old LG Blu - ray player.

  The player does not seem to recognize the drive, as it shows in the menu of the screen as "My Passport", but then it just keeps load information for minutes (I see progress in rotation of the icon), until it stops and shows nothing.

  I checked, and the Sony player has the latest version of installed firmware.

  In fact, I managed to solve the problem by unplugging the player for about 10 minutes (I should have tried this first)! After that, it will work very well and I was able to access the AVI files in my laptop hard drive.

• iPhone 7 more buttons outside does not

  I've had my iPhone 7 + for about 2 weeks now. Every once in awhile all buttons outside to stop, volume up/down, power, home. The home button will still record and push and give the sensation of taptic and touchID works. The phone itself still works and I can answer texts and which do not use notifications.

  The couple spent time he did, he came upon her in about 4-5 minutes, however it was about half an hour and still nothing. I want to restart my phone, but the switch does not work.

  I just experienced the same problem on my iPhone 7, I think it's a bug in iOS, but I am using iOS 10.0.2. Power + button low Volume allowed me to turn it off then turn it back on... Apple please fix this bug!
