BDP-S580 how to enter WPA key caps?

I am trying to enter uppercase letters for the WPA key on my remote control, but I can't understand how to move from lower case to upper case.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forums.
Happy to help you. In the lower right corner of the touch pad, you will see [ABC] [123] [! @?] or down for top arrow [abc] and choose [ABC] for caps.

  • Enter the key of Lightroom

I recently bought a Leica camera that came with a download free Lightroom. I couldn't download Leica off-site, so they advised me to do out of Adobes. I have now downloaded successfully, but it is only the trial version and I want to know how to enter the key I have without having to buy first

    Hi 0161rhinor ,

To convert a trial to a full version, simply launch the product and wait for the prompt of the upcoming trial. At the prompt of the trial, you can click on this software license and which would be you are asked to enter the serial number of the product.

Please try this and let us know if this resolves the query for you.

  • WIRELESS CONNECTIONS - HOW TO ENTER WEP (or WPA) KEY AGAIN

    Hello

I'm trying to connect my new laptop to my wireless network.  When I select it, it tries to connect, fails and a troubleshooting option comes up. I don't know why it doesn't connect - it's because I have not entered the WEP key and it is not just ask for it.  When I click on other available networks, it asks for the WEP key.  In XP and earlier versions of windows, if I remember correctly, you can enter into network connections via Control Panel and change the internet settings and add keys WEP etc.  I tried a left click on my wireless network - 'connect' option appears.  I tried to go to thenetwork and sharing Center and selecting manage wireless networks where no network is on the list.  I tried everything that was logical.  Even the smart phones have an option where you can "forget network" and then search again and re-enter security keys.

Now my question is, why didn't he ask the WEP key?  More importantly, how I have manually?  An instruction step by step would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

[Note: I wrote the WEP key because that's what I use, I mean any kind of key, including WPA, etc.]

    Hello

Log in to the router security turned off and make sure that the new laptop can not when the connection is open.

If it's the connection fail safety and make a new password.

If your hardware is compatible with WPA use it, WEP is not really fixed.

  • How can you find your wep or wpa key to go on the internet I have a linksky route

on the internet, computer wife XP runng had no problem, then when it turned on today that it asks for the wep or wpa key and I don't know what it is.

    Hi WILLIAMBERGEN,

In a wireless network, the WPA key is a password that protects the network against outside intrusion. If a wireless router is configured with WPA encryption, you need the WPA key for access to the network and to make changes to your network settings

We will check if the following is useful.

    a. open your web browser. In the address bar, type http://192.168.1.1 and press to enter. It is the default IP of many wireless routers. If this does not load a web page, see the manual of your router to the IP address of the configuration.

    b. on the screen that appears, you will be asked to enter your username and password. If you do not know your user name and password, try the default name of the user and the password of your router.

    c. If you are unable to log in or search for the user name and password of your router, reset the router.

    d. in your router settings, look for a "safety" or "wireless security" tab open this tab and the WPA key should be displayed.

You can contact the support of router for more information.

  • Manually enter the WPA key in Bravia, TV freezes

    Hey there,

I'm trying to set up my TV (model KDL-46NX720) with my wireless network. This should be pretty easy... Problem is: I don't have the remote. All directions, I found were using the remote control...

I tried to maneuver on mine it and enter it manually, using the buttons for volume/channel/enter/House on the side of the TV. In fact, I was quite successful and was able to select the right wireless network. However, I came across a problem as soon as I got to the screen that asks for the WPA key. It came with the scroll slowly flashing in the text box, while the 'k' has been selected below. It showed my old password wireless in the text box and absolutely not allow me to delete or edit - or even move the selection of the 'k '.

I tried to press the 'enter' all by pushing the channel up and down buttons. I tried to do the same using the 'home' button He would not even make something when I pressed the button "home" only - wouldn't take back me to another screen or the main menu... Nada. The ONLY THING that seemed to allow me to do was to change the volume. Whereas before the volume keys hands left-right scrolling capabilities, they suddenly changed the function to regain control on the volume actually...

Any ideas on what is happening here? I want to just set up the wireless to connect my iPhone and use it as a remote control (as I did in the past - yes I went through this before, but never experienced frozen screen password!)... and maybe just maybe finally get to see Netflix!

Really shouldn't be so hard... but alas.

Thanks for all the ideas and input.

    Hi phlyinphish9,

You need a remote control to enter the WPA key, but a work around you can try is to have the TV connected via a wired facility first, and then have your iPhone enter the WPA key through the wireless setup. Or if you have a set-top box remote, try to check if it can manage to the TV.

  • [JS SUI] How set enter key in listbox?

    Hello.

Only the event key entered does not work in this script.

I want to enter the key events and get the index of the ListBox.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    A couple more observations:

    1. the original script works if you press SHIFT + ENTER or Ctrl + Enter. (Edit: Peter beat me to it!)

    2. change the "keydown" to the "keyup" event makes it work (although not repeatedly on the same list point unless the selection is modified in between, which is a little strange).

    Hello

    http://gumbo.flashhub.NET/keyboard/

It is a small example of a 'virtual' keyboard that will enter the text into a textinput/textarea component selected. Capslock and shift key States really aren't quite right (really need control shift/cap lock combo), but there is a simple tab and backspace (delete) and enter the function key.

    hope this is useful

    David.
