• How turn off highlight text links after you have visited a Web site?

  When I do a google search or visit Craigslist or where ever, the text of the link that I had visited remains highlighted. No matter if it is day, week, month, etc., it remains highlighted.

  The link information is stored in browser cookies so either you need to remove specific cookies, information is stored in, or remove all cookies.

  It's the small jets Private Browsing windows are for btw. Prevents the traces of the history of navigation.

  The text box that appears when your mouse over a link and it shows the location in the lower left corner. Can disable you that? I find it boring.

  The easiest way is to use the add-on of status-4-Evar. With it, you can choose to not display the messages State or links, or display them in the bar modules or the address bar instead.

  This information should be useful.

  1. the HOSTS file would have an impact on all browsers. If you do not deliberately use the HOSTS file to block some websites, run the FixIt in this article to reset (clear on) the HOSTS file.

For example, I want that navigation on the site that I am building to have a style of link different text as a link in a certain part of the body copy.
