• Work with Bootstrap in Dreamweaver

  I am an intermediate user of dreamweaver, and I recently heard of Bootstrap. I also saw that dreamweaver CC 2015 supports integration "bootstrap".

  My question is this, and don't forget my skill level is intermediate:

  When you use Bootstrap, your pages should be the basis of all the bootstrap, or can you start a regular dreamweaver html file and use bootstrap to style only a few items on your site?

  If I understand correctly, "bootstrap" is a CSS (with a few JS fuctionalities so) file, and if that is correct, it's ok to have a start with your own CSS file, for example, main.css?

  Please enlighten.

  Bootstrap is a bunch of stuff all packed together. The site itself (getbootstrap.com) will explain itself, but a simple answer is that it is a combination of pre-written oriented files, best practices, with CSS, JavaScript and fonts (among other things more advanced as the LESS).

  You can do whatever you want with the Bootstrap included in your page. Use one part of it, or quite use of all this. How you use is entirely up to you.

  My favorite to use passages are fluid grid CSS, the CSS utilities and the glyphicons reagent. Too many link, but you can see the grid here and useful utilities like reagents images here. Glyphicons (see here) are fonts as essentially the icons or images for your site, but because they are the fonts they are rendered as a vector in any size and color, like text, they are ultra light and make the razor sharp on any device.

  Again, as mentioned, use as much or as little of the system you want. You can fully customize your Bootstrap version by visiting the Bootstrap customize section and using only the parts you really want to use, reducing the size of the download.

  Dreamweaver is exceptional for the construction with Bootstrap IMHO just for 2 reasons, live edit and finding of dependence. Because Dreamweaver is loading the page in a real browser mode it has an advantage. It loads all AJAX applications and realize how they are dependent on what you are viewing. So when you use these huge frames your display of dependent files is extremely accurate and how to find a folder makes responsible for certain parts of the very easy to find with a simple filtering pages. Otherwise, even with the tools of the great developer in browsers, it's just much easier to work in Live View mode which inspect in a browser and go back to your IDE to get the file you need. Dreamweaver makes it easy. And it's a very difficult thing to do.

• Question about images with Bootstrap galleries

  I watched the tutorial, I might add is very nice:

  1. on the 'DEMO', there are 6 images. All images must be shown or may be just 1 image that when you click on the modal will load containing the remaining images?

  2. If you want to add more than 1 Gallery, do I need to recreate the full tutorial for each gallery? I have 5 different galleries.

  You can call the modal window to open a single image or a button, if that's what you want.

  The way I structured this tutorial in particular, you should be 5 modal windows with a unique ID.

  • myModal1 - contains carousel1
  • myModal2 - contains carousel2
  • myModal3 - contains carousel3
  • etc...

  If you are good with AJAX/jQuery, you could call the Gallery carousel appropriate in a single Modal with GetElementByID instruction component.  But it's another tutorial.

• Course e-Learning Guitar beginner with Animate

  Hello

  I want to create a beginner guitar e-Learning courses using Adobe animate. I already know how to do basic and entertainment quizzes and interactions with Actionscript code. However, I'm not sure what is the best way to set up an entire course. Here are the options I am considering, could you please tell me which would be best?

  1. create the e-Learning course as a Web site. Each interaction new training would be on an individual HTML page with an object "flash" to 800 x 600. Results are saved to a central database, file, or LMS.

  2. create the e-Learning courses entirely to breast to animate it. Every frame of the main timeline would constitute a "new page", much like a Powerpoint slide. This means that the entire project and all assets are encapsulated in a single file.

  Finally, I would like to be able to deliver the course through a variety of formats; Tablets, HTML5, iPad, and Android. Would one of these approaches is more amenable to this path? I wouldn't have to recreate all the entire new course page-by-page for each new format delivery.

  (I don't want to use Adobe Captivate, while some of its functions are great, it's learning interactions are limited for what I want to do).

  the approach that would be easier to expand a SWF to a html5 project would be to use each keyframe on the main timeline as a separate lesson.  each key frame can contain a movieclip which would post this lesson of executives.

• How can I create a slideshow in Dreamweaver with Bootstrap model

  I am designing a site in Dreamweaver with a bootstrap model and want to create a simple slide show to fit in the middle of a page with transitions, only 6 columns wide.

  There is an online program called cssSlider, but it creates slideshows with too large file size and is expensive, so I hope I can create one myself just using CSS.

  Is this possible? If so, how?

  If so (and you have not made changes to the jquery file) ignore the feature of Linting in DW is a little overzealous.

• Help a beginner with the moving pages

  I'm kinda a beginner when it comes to web design and absolutely love muse.
  I came with a minor problem while doing my girlfriends website.
  Essentially "treatments for the eyes" and "Waxing" pages moving slightly to the left... The only thing different on these pages is the fact that the content goes beyond the browser window in order to have to scroll down to see the rest of the text.

  I think you answered your own question José!

  Page is deeper than the size of your monitor screen (it does not move on my screen to 1350deep) and produced a scroll on the right bar which bumps the page to take account of the size bar.

• Beginner with a MacBook Pro!

  Hi all, probably a very stupid question, but I'm new to Mac. I have an iPod, iPhone & iPad, but bought the Mac to try to centralize things. Currently, I have my music library on a PC & in iCloud but want to store everything on Mac as well as the cloud, so I have to manually transfer from the PC or I can it pulls directly from the cloud? Cloud content includes rips of CD with purchased content, so what is easier?
  Also, regarding the photos, I want to transfer my iPhone on the mac as we will store them in the cloud, once again, it's simple? very much appreciated

  Any help is much appreciated, and there will probably be a lot of stupid questions from me, as I am not particularly tech savvy, so apologies in advance.

  Moving a library: quick response if you use preferences by default iTunes settings: copy the folder integer iTunes (and to ensure that all of its subfolders and files) intact at the other disk, hold down the option/ALT key to start iTunes and on request to select a library select iTunes Library.itl file in the copied folder.

  When it's to a new computer put the iTunes folder copied to the default location of Macintosh HD > users > * user name * > music (or home > music) so you don't even have to start with the down option, iTunes will automatically look for what it y.  (Make sure that it is no anything already in the iTunes folder it that you want to keep because you will replace it with the one you are moving).  Don't forget to authorize computer in iTunes to your Apple ID if you use it to synchronize with Apple devices or play multimedia DRM protected (e.g., movies).

  Some elements used in iTunes related activities are not stored in the iTunes library folder, but in special folders.  If you move a library to another computer, you can copy these too:

  You will not be able to download this script on its own, because the agent script needs a file to run.

  What you need to do is to create a CountScript.bat file that runs "cscript count2.vbs".

  Then you zip CountScript.bat and count2.vbs in a ZIP file named CountScript.zip and CountScript.zip in the generator to deploy Script Foglight Agent.

  When this agent is deployed and created, CountScript.zip will be extracted on the target host.

  When you enable this agent, CountScript.bat will run and generate the named parameters.

• Beginner with the pen tool problem: not obvious on any shape layer

  I'm learning the pen tool. I made a line with the pen tool, but now I can't find out what layer it is on, and I can't caress as I wanted. All my layers are turned off and the form appears. However the research through the layers there is no vector layer that contains my line. In addition, I can't touch the line as the line options and filling are greyed out on my table of paths. I have attached a copy of Θcran to explain if all goes well I mean. I use CS2 on Windows 7.

  

  Your Layer palette capture you have no visible layer and targeted in order to trace the path would not be available and gray by Photoshop.  Target a layer visible and you should be able to stroke the path on this layer. Also, you should be able to add a shape layer by using this path of pen.

• Problems beginner with blues on all imported pictures. LR 3.3

  I'm upgrading to LR 3.3.  The problem I have is that on all imported images the blues are irresistible, almost iridescent.  The camera is Lumix GF1, Raw + JPEG.  Windows XP.  Also, I installed on my iMAC to LR3 and do not have this problem, that is, everything seems OK.  In addition, the same images in the camera and other Windows photo software (Picassa, Paintshop pro) look quite normal without this problem with the blues.  LR 3.3 obviously unusable in this State.  Previously, had no problems with LR 2.2 import.    Any suggestions, other than coming back to LR2?  Thank you very much. »

  Almost certainly a bad monitor on your XP machine profile. Picassa and PS pro are not color managed so that they do not use the monitor profile and show the color never appropriate. You need to calibrate your monitor on the XP machine. Macs come with patterns relatively good monitor built in and almost all applications color managed so you won't have this problem to the same extent. Corrupt the monitor profiles are extremely common on windows for some reason computers any and are a well known problem that you notice when using color managed apps. The calibration is performed using equipment such as the Spyder Pro, Huey Pro, or similar and is an essential part of digital photography. You are unable to achieve consistent and good results. If you are not critical and never print or share your images, the best thing to do is to go to your display properties panel and delete the profile associated with your monitor in the color management tab. This wil make windows assumes that your monitor is sRGB and effectively disables the management of color everywhere. As I said, if you care about the color, you need to calibrate.

• Please help beginner with CSS positioning fix

  Am can't get the items of paragraph to behave the way I want to that they in the header section of the page on the link below. I paragraph address remaining in the position. Paragraph h, however, does not seem to be contained by the header div. He moves to the left as the browser window is resized to be larger. I tried to add a right margin of the paragraph address but paragraph hours does not seem to recognize that. I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to find out what. The little weather widget has a similar, but not quite the same problem. He moves to the right.

  True enough. Do not overdo with inline styles. But to change an element on a page, it won't hurt.

• Beginner with questions of the base layer

  Hi all!  Been reading / looking for a solution to my problem, but can't find it - so now I ask the group.  I'm not a trained Designer, plus a young craftsman/teacher-type elementary school who want to have fun with pictures then purchased the package of the educator of the Adobe with the new Mac Book Pro last year.  CS3, I used PrintShopDeluxe () widely, and iPhoto, Photoshop, etc...

  I am not able to understand the functioning of the layers.  I create / setting up a certain print doc size (pixels).  I opened pictures (including large size I have handled/shrunk by Preview) and bring them into the doc very well.  But!  each photo has another layer and the first picture disappears when I add the second photo. THEN the layer panel goes to the most recent photo and I don't see anything on the other photo!  I thought that the info would build in the layers panel, but no, in that I have to return to the file open the recent item to see the other picture that I put. I've exhausted all the possibilities I can muster from drop-down menus. Why not the layers panel building of information with every thing I add?  Maybe I'm not adding things the right way?

  I know that I'm over my head with this program, but the tutorials are wonderful and so is this forum.  I am determined!

  So, thank you to breathe a big sigh and scribble a fundamental aid for me.

  You say you're "Opening" files. Who would not simply open a new document

  with only the single photo placed inside?

  Try to 'place' images in an active document rather than "opening" your

  images. To place an image, click on file > Place.
