  I have a problem with the screen flickering at first upward. (Computer Toshiba satellite laptop) I start the computer and once windows starts to load I immediately encounter a flickering (somewhat like a light bulb which is about to release) the screen flashes and then goes to black... I have so stop and keep trying to re-start. After 25 + times it finally it loads correctly. This may take 20 to 30 minutes each time it happens... which is usually every morning when I get up and turn on your computer! I searched on the web and see many other people having the same problem, but have not yet found a solution.

  TB V - 24.4.0, Win XP32, fired from OE to the CT today on the friends system is about to run Win 7 64. Original e-mail account is lequipetv.fr and it was able to import all the mail and setting of address book correctly in TB. One last question, I don't like having the pane complete message for security reasons, but when I go into this display/page/Message pane and uncheck it on every screen, every time that I reopen it TB, it gives the message pane on.   Try these options:

  * Hard Reset BlackBerry by holding ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or removing and reinserting the battery)

  Messages > saved Messages

  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)

  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)

  * Clean and reload your OS.

  • There is an option in the contacts window in kind (names) of > name -is that what you mean?
