  Maybe that I miss the question, but I think you are looking for a good definition of the metadata model or same good architecture of content server instances themselves.

  You wrote that you have lots of files from one application (1200 check-ins per day) and you are limited by the recommendation to have maximum 1000 files in a folder. It is a bit of a mix of apples and oranges. Records are a logical representation of file storage, who must somehow match what users a) are used for b) is useful to organizational processes.   You can use a chart of the LabVIEW intensities for this kind of display.

  Maybe not the best way, but it is possible.

  I think upgrade to 2015 CC and I don't want to continue to use it yet.  However, it still is not part of the CC and the latest version is always CS 6.

  Yes. You can get the quirks with several versions installed, but CC added on top of used CS6 PS CC for me the last time I did this sequence.

  Note that EN CS6 will run under your subscription of the CC, not the original of licence #. You get disconnected, so ask for a license number or give one of his weird messages (does not work in nonseialized blah blah). Just take exit, connect to your subscription, and then open them IN. Log in and open, but will not ask for PR CC.

  If ever, you get rid of the subscription of the CC, you may uninstall/cleaner/reinstall CS6 with your serial number to use.

  My use case is to predict the market price of stocks based on historical data.

  I see there R packages to do. Some popular methods that are widely used are ARIMA (Autoregressive integrated mobile average).

  Is there such an offer out-of-the-box in the MDGS?

  Pointers / whitepapers, or do we use component regression?

  MDG does not have an implementation of time series which is precisely part of the SQL in the algorithms of db.

  But AAO (Oracle Advanced Analtyics, ODM is a part of) has an implementation of time-series Oracle which may be useful for you:

• Best approach to editing on two computers

  I usually use my desktop PC to change my photos, but will be traveling and would like to be able to work on my laptop while traveling.  I wonder what is the best approach.

  As a backdrop, all my photos are in a cloud service (OneDrive in my case) which synchronizes the files in directories identical on desktop or portable.

  I have identified two approaches and would like a recommendation on which is better.

  1. Move the catalog to the cloud synchronized directory structure
     I know that I would need to make sure that I had that catalog open on one machine at a time and which would need to be sure that the synchronization is complete before starting an editing session
     
     
  2. Export a catalog of files that I would like to change and the re - import when I finished
     Because the negative files are in the same file structure, I would only export the metadata, not the negative files
     I do my editing and then re - import the catalog to my master catalog when I come back, once again, leaving only negative files.

  Is there a benefit / cost to both approaches?

  I'd go with this method providing you are careful with the sync, upload in trip etc.

  Much depends on the frequency at which Exchange you between computers. More frequently, more looking to maintain the catalogue on an external drive. It's convenient when you go between the office and personal computers, but a player allows use more Lr offline, especially if you have generated a lot of intelligent insights. When I travel I use this method, and it replaced your option 2 for me.

  The method of cloud can be fine if you can wait to download sync end after the closure of Lr on the machine and wait synchronization to download complete before the opening of Lr on the other. If you are logged on a trip, and upload speed is good, then you win some backup benefits too.

  Another idea is to use the mobile features if you have a subscription to the CC. Synchronize a collection of Mobile and you can make adjustments to broad brush on tablets or phones, and adjustments will automatically return in your catalog. You can also use Lightroom Web to make some adjustments in a standard browser window, and in all cases, you can generate JPEG files if you need to send them to people.

  There are a variety of approaches and individual circumstances.

  I have a calculated account, trying to get the average to the level of the child of the period, but have the Parent period level make a right calc on the totals. My cube is configured like this:

  You probably don't need to use all balance of average time for this calculation. I suggest defining members in time balance zero, then label it as 'Dynamic Calc' and label it as "Two-Pass", ensure that the income / hours calculation after the period roll-up.

  I think that you would give the desired result.

  My question was generic Time Design and model Crossover of the year, although I read on the same messages in the forum but I'm unable to view the same.
  A design generic time dimension would have design time divided in two dimensions while the exercise includes the months, years into one single so dimensional.

  (1) someone can pls help me with an example for both? so to understand them more logically.
  (2) can be used for either ASO and BSO cubes?
  (3) I read somewhere that - in the generic model, months, quarters and years have no identification exercise so that in the crossover model year, months, quarters and years have the job of identifying wired in the names of members...   What you call generics would years periods (month) and neighbourhoods sometimes weeks in one dimension and the years in a separate dimension. It is good if you want to cross tab years which intersect with periods of declaration. It is also good in a model BSO becaue you can make few years and reduce the time of calc. It is not good if you want to go to day and want the fisscal and the Gregorian. It also complicates certain calculations.
  In a single time dimension model, you have the quarters and the weeks of the month and day in a single hierarchy. You need to concatinate the year descendants to make the unique member names. This works well if you do the math but can make very large size according to the number of years.

  (2) can be used for either ASO and BSO cubes?

  Yes, both can be used in each model. If you use the wizard of time in ASO it will create as a single dimension with a number of dimensions of the attribute.

  (3) I read somewhere that - in the generic model, months, quarters and years have no identification exercise so that in the crossover model year, months, quarters and years have the job of identifying wired in the names of members... I don't know what the ID exercise means more here! so help with that

  Hello world. I'm working on a datasheet that has collected the data points for all day for the past 15 years.

  A column stores the date and column B contains a numeric value.

  I want to do the following:

  Create a new table (call it table #2) that:

  (1) is now a time series on a monthly basis (column A contains "year month"). This is why the table contains a header and 15 * 12 = 60 rows of data

  (2) B Col contains the Max value of this month.

  (3) C Col contains the value this month min

  Table #2 should be calculated automatically because I need to find these values for several series. Any ideas?

  I doubt a broken screen is covered by the warranty, assuming that your warranty is still valid. But you can also contact the service out of warranty repair of Dell which should be able to tell how much they would charge to do the replacement in their service center.
