Best idle 1080/60 p (setting an optimal sequence) export performance

If I have some shot at 1920 x 1080/60 p clips, I want to export 1920 x 1080/30 p, with a 50% reduction in speed, which will result in the best quality of idle?  Should I make a timeline of 1920 x 1080/29.97 fps sequence and change speeds of clip to 50% then place them on the timeline?    Or should I do the sequence 1920 x 1080/59.94 fps then put the clips on the timeline to sequence to 50%?

I guess what the parameters of the optimal sequence to use for slow motion video shot at 1920 x 1080/59.94 fps and exported at 1920 x 1080/29.97 fps with each speed clips set to 50%.

-Roger Uzun

MO slow spell perfect for me an exact calculation. Change the settings of the sequence to the tempo makes you in finally and reduce speed on clips from Assembly to exactly 50% then export in 30 frames per second, this 0.3 fps makes a tiny difference.

Or do both and see what looks like the finished film and then decide, exporting in 29.97 FPS, the calculation of the reduction of the speed of 49.95%

Even more slow and made movement in 24 fps means 40% speed reduction.

Don't use the OPTIMAL storage parameter in the rollback segment.
But how not to use the OPTIMAL storage parameter in the rollback segment?
    Thank you.

If you use undo_management = AUTO (in 9i or more), then there is no "BEST" setting

"OPTIMAL" is when you use the manual Undo with Rollback Segments created by the DBA.

If you use the manual Undo management, check your Rollback Segments. The optimum size would be visible in V$ ROLLSTAT.

    select a.segment_name a, b.xacts b, b.waits c, b.shrinks e, b.wraps f,
          b.extends g, b.rssize/1024/1024 h, b.optsize/1024/1024 i,

To unplugged the Optimal adjustment you can run

    alter rollback segment SEGMENT_NAME storage (optimal NULL);

Note that if you unset OPTIMAL, then your Rollback Segments will remain in very large formats, if and when they grow up running of important transactions ("OPTIMAL" is the method of pre - 9i to Oracle automatically reduce Rollback Segments). You can manually SHRINK or DROP and then CREATE Rollback Segments.

  • Best way to display a set of data rows (15 + columns)?

    Hey,.

I have a set of data rows in a data from a JAVA call control. Rowset contains about 15 + columns of data that I need to display to the user in a grid. What is the best way to achieve this? When I try to drag the control of data lines in the AMX only obvious choice page seems to be seen list but I can't just use some columns in a list view. Or an iterator. I guess I should use iterator somehow, but what is the best way to present this data?

Manually, you can go and edit the list to add more columns and place fields in them.

Check out the application workbetter to see some models list (for example, people discovered) sample.

You might want to rethink your design and have a limited set of fields appear in the list, and then when you select a list item data show the rest of the info.

a very large list is perhaps not ideal for a mobile screen.

  • Best setting of the sequence

What is the best configuration of the sequence combining clips AVCHD (1920 x 1080) for a possible release on BluRay and HDV (1440 x 1080)?

If you use both types in the same project, I'd go with the sequence of 1920 x 1080.

  • Best fps for film loop setting.

Hello, I use Adobe Flash CS6.

    It is a simple question.

There are 2 bitmaps, image A to image B

and I put in a movie clip as a AABBAABB symbol and I put like 30 fps fps,

but 1 frame of 30 frames per second is 0.03 sec and 1 frame of 15 images/s is 0.06 sec. This means that 2frames of 30 frames per second = 1 frame of 15 frames per second.

so if I have reorganize them as ABAB with 15 frames per second, it plays like 30 fps done in this situation.

So, I have a question, what setting is better?  15 images/s is much better for the old PC?

  • Optimal catalog size / Performance issues

    Hello

I was wondering, is what size a good catalog - if inverse geo-location and facial recognition is enabled.

Problem: So far, I've had a single catalog for about 30,000 photos. I recently reinstalled my PC and thought, that it would be beneficial (after various OS upgrades and Versions of Lightroom) to make all things new. However, despite the powerful Hardware, it seems that Lightroom is facing serious problems with the number of photos in this catalogue and says little. Now, I wonder if break the number of photos in smaller catalogues would help.

    Hardware specifications:

    CPU: I7 - 6700 k

    RAM: 64 GB

    GPU: GTX 1080, 8 GB

Lightroom is installed on a SAMSUNG SSD Pro 850 / 1 TB

The pictures are on an other Samsung SSD, EVO 850 / 1 TB

    Software:

    Windows Pro 10

    6.6 Lightroom

Do you have any advice? Or can Lightroom generally manage the number of photos easily and more exist somewhere a mistake?

    Thanks to advandce

    Michael

    @trashner @dj_paige: thank you both.

6.6 Lightroom formed - what I would call 'the perfect storm '. 6.5.1 also first, problems of performance handling of faces in the largest catalogues (I'll explain later). With 6.6 and known issues of performance and memory, by head screeen personas to a wiered Lightroom application behavior difficult to answer and sometimes. Why not everyone knows this? I suppose that, because most of the users to install LIghtroom 6.6 as an update to an already existing and fully indexed catalog.

Then, my experiences with 6.5.1 were as follows: generally more rapid then 6.6. But, when I went to the screen personas, the application started late, but, fortunately, to a degree where it was still a little sensitive. So while 60% of the faces (30,000 pictures, which took more then 15 hours) have been recognized for the complete catalog, I had the opportunity to 'play' nearby. And I discovered a few interesting things: once again, the application when booting with the root directory of the catalog is still slow and accept suggestions of name is not funny at all. But I have the files/catalaog organized in folders and subfolders (year and month can, for the most part) and began to experiment with subfolders as starting point. And all the sudden Lightroom has started to become much more quickly in many ways. Face recognition from one subfolder to another (on avareage 300 Photos) began to speed up a lot and also work with name suggestions, etc. became easy. When I went a hierachy upward (meaning a year), with sometimes 6,000 or as little a few hundred speed, was a kind of uproportional goes downwards or upwards depending on the number of photos in this directory. While the indexing/recognition was still not fully filled 6000 pictures mean, hard to work with it and 500 is very easy.

Then, I started to activate up to 1000 subfolders and waiting always face rocognition was completed. That took a few minutes. I repeaded that for each subdirectory and been fact within 2 hours for the remaining 40%. In this way the recognition of work face 3-4 times faster, then having lightroom do the recognition for the entire catalog at a time.

Then I started to work on the suggestions of name etc. also based on subdirectory to subdirectory, which was still much faster, and then the applicaton behaved when the entire catalog has been selected.

    Conclusio

-With the help of 6.5.1 instead of 6.6, was an important stepp.

-However, the answer to the question of the optimum size of catalog would be:

    (a) catalog can be very very large

    (b) but to speed up the recognition of faces and to work with her, breaking the process into pieces of 500 photos.

    Haha

Hi haha, you use a single InDesign file to create several articles? You have experimented with different layouts in the same InDesign file? That would help with your particular workflow.

Export of specific page isn't on the roadmap. On the plan where to make a feature request, good question! I don't know actually. But, you've done pretty well just the feature request. :-)

  • Setting the presets for export assistance. FLV

I need help to customize the presets to export a file to the .flv format. Here's what I need Adobe export to:

    320 x 240

    4:3

    800 Kbps

    29 97 fps

    Audio - 44 khz 66 kbps stereo

You can accomplish almost all in the first of 12 elements, but there is a problem reaching the exact audio sampling combination speed/flow that you list.

In first Elements 12, go to publish + share/computer/Adobe Flash Video and presets select = FLV - great NTSC Web Source (Flash 8 or higher) On2VP6 MP3 FLV

On the Advanced Settings button and video tab, adjusts

Remove the link between the height and the width of the frame and the type of

Width of the frame = 320

    Frame height = 240

    Bitrate = 800 kbit/s (kilobits per second)

On the button tab / Audio advanced, adjusts

    Output channel stereo =

Bitrate settings - This is where it gets complicated... There is no set rate/frequency = 44 kHz sampling or other. There is no audio bitrate of 66 kbps (64 Kbps is closest to you), it seems to be a sampling frequency associated with export, but visible once you have export and examine its properties in a program like MediaInfo.

    Here's what I found

If the audio bitrate is 64 Kbps, sampling rate is 22.05 KHz

If the audio bitrate = 80 Kbps, sampling rate is 22.05 KHz

If the audio bitrate = 96 Kbps, then the sampling frequency 44.1 KHz

If the audio bitrate = 128 Kbps, then the sampling frequency 44.1 KHz

Are there trade-offs for you, or you must have the exact values you posted?

    H.264 AAC F4V

If you export your Timeline as F4V, so you can create sampling rate of 44.1 KHz and bitrate 64 Kbps.

We can discuss the other parameters not mentioned later once we have worked around the core ones.

    Please see the bulletin.

    Thank you.

  • If my support is 1920 x 1080 I can create a custom sequence?

    Hello

Currently, I work on FCPX and want to upgrade to Adobe, but before I do I don't know if she will achieve everything that I need.

I work with the media of 1920 x 1080, but we deliver in several aspects.  FCPX allows me to create sequences with any aspect.  First can do the same?  Without media strectching.  For example we deliver sometimes 960 x 544 is this something I could create in Adobe?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Where to place the sequence inhabitants in a setting of the sequence? up, down, left, right?

    Hello

I have a sequence with multiple images and I need overgive of some values in an image to the image through sequence inhabitants.

Where should I put the local sequence? On the top or bottom of the frame? Perhaps on the right?

If I put them on the right side of the frame wiring looks good in one but it's ugly as part of another.

    How are you?

    Greetings

    Johannes

    Hi Johannes,

Although this is not necessary, it is better programming practice.

You might need to make changes in the future, or to use the code in another, similar project, then its way easier to implement when you used a before state machine. And this isn't a lot of work changing a sequence to a statemachine, except that you have hundreds of frames/States.

Back to your first question, it depends on your taste where you place the tunnels in the sequence.
