Best setting of the sequence

What is the best configuration of the sequence combining clips AVCHD (1920 x 1080) for a possible release on BluRay and HDV (1440 x 1080)?

If you use both types in the same project, I'd go with the sequence of 1920 x 1080.

Apple "final cut pro 7", high res Pro 422lt 1920 x 1080 (odd) clips, is this gradual?, no sequence definition 1080 progressive

How can I make sure that I have the best setting of the timeline for my clips. I did all the settings of Mount clips but there is no progressive setting for 1080 p. Images originally dslr Nikon that I used mpeg streamclip to convert to prores. Thanks for your help!

The frame for you size source of material is HDTV 1080i (16:9). That only sets the size of the image, not the domination of the field, it's what makes progressive or interlaced. The reason it's labels with the 'i' is that when FCP7 was abandoned by Apple, they have never updated the software in order to take account of 1080 p contents.

To make your progressive sequence, set the dominant field to None.

In your screenshot of the properties of the element for your clip to the source, the material is interlaced. At the original camera file interlaced or progressive?

Also, the fps footage was actually 30 original and 29.97 not standard?  30 images/s is very limited its use.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

    SR - rox

No, the speed of the song has nothing to do with the equalizer. The EQ is on the sound, not the speed. Experiment a bit with the presets and you can understand a little better.

P.S. I wouldn't trade away normal EQ as long as you use the Sansa earphones... they are OK but only capable of so much

  • DPS: Judge to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the objects when the majority of the page is a photo. What is the best setting for the overall performance?

I am trying to decide whether to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the object when the majority of the screen is a picture (with a modest but important legend for children to read). The legend certainly makes it look more net as vector. But does the photo! The raster setting seems to make the lower-res images in comparison. In my first edition of my application, I thought that raster would be the best setting when the photo was the subject dominating the page. But now, after seeing how strong he looks like vector, (but with almost a refresh of the unacceptable time. Perhaps better on the latest iPad. Most of my readers/students in class will use iPad 2 s, which has a slower processor). I wonder if I should go through the trouble of changing States of photo objects that have the type as well to the vector. It doesn't seem to be as sensitive to a re - draw on the iPad 2 (non-retine)

Is Filesize hit if I make about 1200 on these objects range from Raster to vector? (It is a huge, highly interactive history book, so I'm curious if acutally go to vector on these photos would reduce the size of the file) What is the best setting for the overall performance?

I see the freeks screen outside for a bit if you try to pinch and zoom in a vector object (photo) vs raster. Which is disappointing. Does slow down load time/refreshment in frame, which is a little less. I also found that the drop shadows really bad that redraws effect in vector, almost vibrating in a slide show, for example. Thus, in cases where I need shadows, I'm sticking with Raster.

    All tips go ahead?

  • Where to place the sequence inhabitants in a setting of the sequence? up, down, left, right?

    Hello

I have a sequence with multiple images and I need overgive of some values in an image to the image through sequence inhabitants.

Where should I put the local sequence? On the top or bottom of the frame? Perhaps on the right?

If I put them on the right side of the frame wiring looks good in one but it's ugly as part of another.

    How are you?

    Greetings

    Johannes

    Hi Johannes,

Although this is not necessary, it is better programming practice.

You might need to make changes in the future, or to use the code in another, similar project, then its way easier to implement when you used a before state machine. And this isn't a lot of work changing a sequence to a statemachine, except that you have hundreds of frames/States.

Back to your first question, it depends on your taste where you place the tunnels in the sequence.

SSID names must be different between the x-ray of 2.4 and 5 Ghz ON the router. Yes, you will need to have the iPad to connect to one or the other. You can configure the connection favorite on the iPad to connect to the best radio or more used the radio if you need to.

  • Parameters specified by step do not match the settings of the sequence

I just upgraded from Teststand 4.1.1 to 4.2 and have encountered this

problem during the review of the existing sequence files.

When I open a file of sequence, select any stage of type sequence call, which calls another sous-séquence

in a different sequence file, I learned that the parameters used do not correspond to those required.

To be more precise, in the settings area of the stage, a red exclamation symbol appears at the side of the

subsequence called step, and the ToolTip is displayed when the mouse pointer is

hovered over the exclamation point States:

"Parameters specified by the step do not match the settings of the sequence."

The ToolTip goes on to explain how to solve this problem by clicking on the exclamation symbol.

I find also that by deselecting the "Prototype using sequence" tab in step Settings\Module

    solves the problem.

When the sequence is executed, no problems occur with execution, the test performs correctly.

Is it possible to clear this error for each sequence call not in one operation?

    Thank you

    Gary.

My apologies to attach a file of sequence buggy. I forgot to pass a parameter to the LoadPrototype method to preserve existing settings. I have attached a corrected version of the sequence file. I changed to update SequenceCall not only because of potential problems, reloading the DLL prototypes.

I would try to explain why you see cela TestStand 4.2. The additional results feature, we added to TestStand 4.1 needs to know what parameters are entered, output and input/output (i.e. what settings is pass by reference). Before TestStand 4.1, step of calling sequence does not store this information but rather dynamically got it and it appears in the column how go. Now that we store the past by reference with the step option, you can have an inconsistency between the option stored in step and the current setting of the sequence called. This inconsistency affects only additional results and not execution. TestStand 4.1, the sequence editor to not warn you on these inconsistencies. We have added the TestStand 4.2 warning so that you will have the correct information for additional results.

When TestStand 4.1 or 4.2 load a file of sequence from a pre-version 4.1 version, TestStand sets cervical optionally reference true for all parameters in the call sequence steps. This is why you see the warning for any sequence calling step created TestStand 3.5 If no parameters are not passing by reference. You can also see the problem if you change the option collar called a reference parameter in the sequence.

  • Best idle 1080/60 p (setting an optimal sequence) export performance

If I have some shot at 1920 x 1080/60 p clips, I want to export 1920 x 1080/30 p, with a 50% reduction in speed, which will result in the best quality of idle?  Should I make a timeline of 1920 x 1080/29.97 fps sequence and change speeds of clip to 50% then place them on the timeline?    Or should I do the sequence 1920 x 1080/59.94 fps then put the clips on the timeline to sequence to 50%?

I guess what the parameters of the optimal sequence to use for slow motion video shot at 1920 x 1080/59.94 fps and exported at 1920 x 1080/29.97 fps with each speed clips set to 50%.

    -Roger Uzun

MO slow spell perfect for me an exact calculation. Change the settings of the sequence to the tempo makes you in finally and reduce speed on clips from Assembly to exactly 50% then export in 30 frames per second, this 0.3 fps makes a tiny difference.

Or do both and see what looks like the finished film and then decide, exporting in 29.97 FPS, the calculation of the reduction of the speed of 49.95%

Even more slow and made movement in 24 fps means 40% speed reduction.

What is the best setting for H264 Blu Ray bit rate, which will play OK on most / all blu ray players. When you use CBR and VBR. What are the benefits of progressive and interlaced with regard to playback on all players.

You don't need to worry about compatibility with Blu - ray playback.

I prefer a variable bitrate for its effectiveness.  (Not necessary spending 25 MB on a framework in need of 10 right?)

Using interlaced or progressive will depend on what you shot.  (Take note that 30 p is an atypical, so do not pull that.  Pull only 720 p/24, 720 p/60, 1080 p/24 or 1080i/30).

What are the best setting of calibration screen for video editing, if you are shooting indoors, without natural light?

Not really related to Prem Pro, however:

Neutral gray scale to set the brightness (white saturation) and contrast (black crush).

    Conveniently located:

    Gamma: 2.2

White point: 6500K (5800K with ambient lighting)

    Brightness: 100-120 (cd/m)

Use a calibration device like SpyderElite (above applies). Grade with a neutral gray background low light level - easier on the eyes.
