  This story goes like this: our application is in the form of 10g. Now, we want to update this application Forms 11 g value.   The code is not DUPLICATED. The code to load and process is completely different from form to form.

  Looks like the old method of copy-paste-adapt.
  But it surely is something all forms have in common, no? Even if the code is not duplicated the process is (select the file, download it, treat it, call a report, delete temporary data). Look at what needs to be done in general, create an API on that and let your forms to use this API. Ways to form stuff can be done via the user triggers, procedures referenced/copied, etc.. If I were you I would go back, look at the code and see how I can do an API.

  As much as you cannot believe that it is a problem, it is indeed a problem. The reason that the application overview of Mac OS is so light and fast is that she is not completely and correctly implement the complete PDF language specification.   I work as an assistant COMPUTER in a company. Before my job, my supervisor used LiveCycle Designer to create all our forms. Much of this work fell on me now, but I'm trying to figure out which program would be best suited. I find LiveCycle to be somewhat archaic, and it does not sit well with other programs, even in the following Adobe. More alarming, that seems not be supported almost as well as any other program Adobe, as if he were to be progressive. I don't want to learn this program if it becomes obsolete as soon as...

  If you want stuff like that, stick with LiveCycle Designer, with all its limitations. LiveCycle Designer is therefore more part of the Acrobat, is Windows only, etc. etc. My impression is that Adobe is it gradually.

  InDesign is just an entry by creating a form in Acrobat. It's a comfortable and familiar layout for InDesign users. There is a large group of people who know how to create and use Acrobat Forms. No doubt some of the things you want from LiveCycle can be done by adding JavaScript, but it happens in Acrobat Pro, not in InDesign. You should spend some time in the forum of PDF Acrobat forms because you would spend part if your time in InDesign, part of your time in Acrobat Pro:

  A correction to the above – if you want the table to be modified/inserted you cannot drag and drop as a master-detail, because the detail will be in read only mode.
  Instead first drag the captain and drop as a form of ADF
  Then, drag the details below and drop it as Table of ADF.

  You can drag since the operations node in the data control the operation createInsert to add a button that will add a new empty row to the table.
