  If you are a developer of FMw 11 g installation, you need not configure the portal or the discoverer, unless of course you plan to use these products.

  It is not necessary. All you have to do is add the Variable environment of FORMS_PATH (EV) and include the directory where your files .fmb and .fmx will be created. This EV indicates forms where to find your forms Modules and libraries of forms (.pll/.plx) you can use in your forms.

  Depends on what you're trying to do - if you want to create an isolated test environment, then you can do this very easily by creating a vSwitch and by not assigning any physical NETWORK adapter. The virtual machine you want to isolate can be connected to the vSwitch and they will not be able to communicate with any other Vm except those that connect you to the vSwitch.

  As there is no LAN connectivity, a user would need the client VMware or delegated access via vCenter to access the VM.s.

  Don't forget to leave some points for messages useful/correct.

  I have HP Pavilion dv6-1115e laptop, which Windows Vista was the original OS. Recently I upgraded to Windows 7-64 bit version, but I still use pilots who originallay came for Windows Vista (no problem at all for the moment). Now I have thoughts of installing drivers that are specifically for Windows 7 64 bit to improve performance. So what I need to first uninstall each software driver and then install the new versions OR I can install them without deleting the previous versions? It would lead to a kind of shock?

  Hello:

  Normally you can just update the drivers without uninstalling existing, unless the installation instructions will tell you to do.

  Some driver packages will automatically uninstall the old drivers before installing new.

  More simply install on the current criteria. I rarely uninstall drivers before updating them.

  After you update a driver, you must always check the tab driver in the Device Manager for the device that you updated to ensure that the new driver installed. You can check this tab before update and then after you updated to note the date/version of the pilot before and the driver date and version later.

  If for some reason, there was no change, then I uninstall the current driver and try reinstalling the newest one.

  Others may have different opinions.

  1. I inherited an English identity document, and when I tried the spell check ran into a problem that has been updated in 'Language' 'Spanish '. The dictionary has already been updated with English.
  2. So, I chose the cursor of the object, so that nothing in the document has been selected and then clicked on Type > character and set the language to English.
  3. In vain, spell check always for the same reason.

  Language is a character attribute, so it must be set for text. It has nothing to do with dictionaries in the preferences of your choice.

  If you are sure that there are no words that should not be attributed to English, you can use find/replace to change the language, or redefine styles. or both.

  I use TCS2 with FM and HR.  My goal is the following:

  -to create a doc FM (with several chapters) and links to external PDF documents. When I generate the FM file in PDF format, it correctly will allow users to click on links and display these external PDF docs.

  -import the doc FM (with several chapters) in HR and create HTML webhelp. Ideally, having the links included in the docs of FM (in external PDF) automatically generate in the HR doc, so that the produced HTML online help doc may have clicked on links also open the external PDF files.

  Issues related to the:

  -best way to do it in FM? I guess I have to create my PDFs in a portfolio (package?), so external clients keep the documentation in the same place (because hyperlinks can damage, I guess)

  -best way to make it work in HR?

  -things to watch?

  Presents all works seamlessly in the framework, assuming that you use cross reference tools and the hyperlink correctly. Assuming that your external files are either 1.)  local for new image files or 2.) are in a static situation on a server that can be identified by a URL.

  The warnings are only external PDF files must be in the same relative location as the files FM where they are created, because the path information is used in the links, OR you must specify the static location of the external PDF as a URL using a marker rather than a cross reference hypertext.

  If you move the directories containing PDFs around after the fact, Yes, you will break things.

  (And when you generate your PDF files, it is recommended to open all the files in the book so that network errors and minor messages prevent files update targets).

  If you cannot keep the logical tree when you deliver your PDF documents, Yes, you will need to do the manual steps and create functions and so on and bind files in Acrobat format.

  It is worth it for most people to find a way to maintain the stability of the directory structure...

  You can create cross-references to anchor points and paragraphs. If you need create an anchor text in new.indd, then use as the target of the cross reference:

  You don't have to second service console, just a second link to SC.

  Add a NIC to portgroup SC (it can be standby NIC), which would be enough.
