Best RAM 1 or 2 GB

Hi all

I have my Ideapad S10-3 with 1 GB RAM capasity. It will be improved to 2 GB. What is better?, added with 1 GB of RAM again, or changing all with 2 GB...

TKS for your suggestion.

Hello and welcome,

There is only one answer possible... There's a slot memory... filled with 1 GB memory... If you want to update you will have to remove 1 GB and replace with 2 GB of memory...

that one you can use for your machine, please read here

  • Best RAM for vSphere

    Hello

I bought an Intel S2600CP4 motherboard as well as two new Sandy Bridge E5-2600 processors.

I was thinking about the best RAM to my system, I have 64 GB of ram. What is the best option? I already bought 32 gb 1600 MHz Corsair Dominator, but now I understand that it is not a 'server' QUEENS, more than a 'gaming '. Is this a good RAM? This will affect the performance of my virtual machines running on vSphere? Should I get another 32 GB of Corsair Dominator? Or should I get 64 GB of another brand that is designed for the server? How is bad to mix RAM from different manufacturers on a single server?

What is the best ram you would recommend for this configuration?

    Thank you!

When selecting RAM for vSphere, I would make three key recommendations:

    1. the more the better (but be aware that the free license can only use 32 GB and will refuse to start if you have more than that)

    2. faster the better (I think that 1600 MHz is good)

    3. in the event that run absolutely stable in your system.

Therefore, carefully test you RAM (with memtest or similar tools) for the stability of the system.

For me, it is not sensible to recommend a specific brand. Even measuring 'server' RAM that you can have a bad chip, leading to instability. Test whether this is the most important thing.

  • What is the best RAM for Tecra A3 upgrades

    Hello

What are the type of RAM I can install safely in my Tecra A3 better/faster?

I ran a test with 'CPU - Z', and it tells me I have a 512 MB of memory, having sat on the #1 slot, type DDR1/PC2700 / 166 mHz.

I would like to have at least 1 gigabyte of memory, but I'm not sure of the following:
1: the motherboard supports DDR-2 RAM or DDR-1 to faster bus speeds (566, 333 or even at 800 mHz)?
2: can I install another type of memory alongside the current (see above question)?
3: make a performance gain by having all the RAM in one slot/block, or vice versa?

    Thanks for the replies!

    Hello

This utility is not known to be, but I think that it provides the right information.
You know the software "Everest"? It is a hardware diagnostic application. It's not bad.

In my opinion, you should use the RAM modules recommended by Toshiba. In my opinion, you will get the best performance with these modules.
I found a few compatible modules:
    PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 2M 25)
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 2M 51)
    1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-2M1G)

It seems that these modules are SO-DIMM 200 pin - DDR 333 MHz.
In my opinion, you need to buy a 1 GB and use it in the slot one.
In the future you can easily switch from the laptop to 2 GB

    Hello

You simply take a look in the manual of the user that was preinstalled on your laptop.
On my laptop, the operating manual has been preloaded with too, and I could find all the necessary information concerning the upgrade of RAM.

The manual says you can use PC2-5300 modules if the A300 would support the RS690M/PM965/GM965 chipsets. But if the laptop is equipped with Intel GL960 chipset, so you can only use the PC2-4200 modules.

Using the Intel GL960 chipset you can extend the RAM to 2 GB (2 x 1 GB RAM)

  • Best Ram Module 8 GB DDR4 to 2133 MHZ for HP AU116TX

    Hello

I bought HP AU116TX HP and it came with 4 GB of RAM. I want to upgrade my Ram and I think a ram slot is free and I thought to upgrade to 8 GB of Ram in this niche, but there is a big question. Which one to pick?

I did a lot of research and crucial is off option sicnce they supported only the HP-Compaq series.

Corsair Vengenace is an option, but I'm not sure if I can go with him and im not sure what Max MHZ laptop Ram is supported. CAN someone help me.  Also, I couldn't find Vengenace with 2133 MHZ. research on the Internet the list only 2400 MHZ.

    Your manual:

    Manual

See p. 35. He did 2 slots, so if you want to switch to 8 GB you only need another 4 GB module. You are certainly better with 2 identical modules because of the thing "dual channel" and 8 gigs in dual channel is generally better than 12 single channel you get with incompatible modules. She will accept the modules DDR4-2400 but downclock to 2133.

Two locations SODIMM - customer not available/no upgradable DDR4 - 2133 Dual Channel Support (bridge of DDR4-2400 to DDR4-2133) supports up to 16 GB memory max system

    4 GB 2133 MHz 1.2V shared DDR4 820569-005

    8 GB 2133 MHz 1.2V shared DDR4 820570-005

The link above allows you to choose a 4 GB or 8 module in concert. Technically, it is supposed to be done by a technician authorized HP, incidentally.

  • What is the best ram from owc or critical

I think to upgrade the RAM in my imac late 2015 5 k.  Anybrecommendations on which is better?  Someone at - he heard anything about Adamanta?  I know that I can go back up to 32 GB, but don't know if that's an exaggeration.  8 GB won't be enough as I already was close to maxing outside of just the podcast, applications and tabs.  I was thinking to add 16 GB at 8 I or do I just do the 32 GB and do with it

Both are very highly recommended and both are very reliable sellers, none is better than the other... Your question is a bit like asking which is better a Mercedes or a BMW. Both are nice cars, which one you choose is strictly up to you.

  • G62-340US: the best RAM and SSD together for an older G62?

I want to improve my old and slow HP G62 with a new SSD and RAM and I have a few questions.

First of all, I found two very similar RAM packs on Amazon and I don't know what is the difference or one that will work with my laptop?

    http://www.Amazon.com/crucial-PC3-8500-204-pin-CT2K4G3S1067M-CT2C4G3S1067M/DP/B008LTBJFM?ie=UTF8&key...

    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B005LDLVAO/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk

Second, it is possible to install an SSD in the computer? And if that's the case, what is the recommended product?

Thirdly, if I replace my hard drive with an SSD, should I buy another copy of the operating system or is at - it a way to save that?

You want the package of upper memory which is the right speed and density of your laptop. The other memory is more recent and probably not compatible. The top of the page says memory is for a Mac that is not in itself a problem, but you may want to consider the memory recommended by HP:

    4 GB (for models 1.1 and 1.2 only) 599092-001

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-VH641AT-4-GB-DDR3-PC3-10600/DP/B0030L3B8E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1459805725&SR=8-1&keywords=599092-001

Absolutely, you can install an SSD on the laptop. Assuming that your 10 Windows is activated you can do a full system image bootable Windows 10 or you can install clean media media creation tool again and the activation of just MS servers identify your computer and you will be activated again even if you change the hard drive.

  • Satellite L300 - 22L - who to upgrade RAM?

    Hello.

I have laptop Satellite L300 - 22L. Can you tell me which is the best RAM to my system in speed and capacity?

    Hello!

Satellite L300 - 22L belongs to the PSLB8E series and is equipped with an Intel GL40 chipset.

This means that for the upgrade of the RAM you need of modules with the DDR2 667 MHz specification for a maximum of 4 GB.

Theoretically, you can buy modules with these specifications of each production, but I have good experiences with the Kingston modules. I always use them to improve my notebooks and never had any problems.

  • HP 15-r030wm j2x46ua #aba: CPU/RAM upgrade question

I want to upgrade my CPU and RAM, but notice 2 things.  1st - the processor is a N3520; is not it is welded to the card or can I spend it?  2nd-if the CPU is only N3520 RAM socket, then the max would be 8 GB 3DDRL or can I use a better?

Try to find the best RAM.  Now that the processor is welded for sure only 3 things I can do to improve performance.

1 switch for SDS for the OS and the current use of storage

    2. I do not have a CPU fan, so I guess I can install 1 I hope...

3 - find the best possible low-voltage RAM but still do not know that I can use.

I saw manual on how to open it and this laptop just crazy when it requires an almost complete dysection = /

You are right. He is a Bay Trail N Pentium processor that is soldered to the motherboard and a slot single memory with a maximum of 8 GB of RAM. Manual link seems to be down at the moment.

If you want to use more RAM, then you will need to install a 64-bit operating system. It's not worth spending money on more RAM if your operating system is unable to use it.
