  You asked the best video card for the GX 620 minitower then this would be the HD 6670 or 7750 HD.   Apparently, you do not have any dedicated now video card.  If we have linked is too heavy, you will need to give us an idea what you can spend.  Your will does not get a lot for less than $50.  If all want them you want, you can get a HD 6450.  I got one on ebay for $32.

  HP released a list of HP OEM video cards that will work in the h8 - 1280t.  Look at these specifications.

  The HP h8-1280 is since over 2 years and I don't expect HP to post additional updates.

  If you are having problems with the graphics card no - HP OEM then ask the manufacturer of the video card for redress.

  I must say that I'm quite disappointed with this PC.

  Unmatcheted RAM 4 and 2 gig from different suppliers.

  I found myself buying little ram Corsair.

  Memory locations only 2 and thus limited to 8 GB of ram

  And now a pathetic videocard poorly matched to the APU and piddly 300 Watt power supply.

  Never another product from HP... NEVER

  This will be the most expensive way to buy a PC

  Shame on you, HP and the glib and slick sales guy.

  This machine is on eBay in recent weeks with no interest whatsoever, I'm not surprised and really angry at myself for having been cheated in this thing. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

  You certainly have a Narra5 motherboard and now it seems that the HP Web site reflects that. Most of the HP quality consumer computers automatically detects the discreet graphics card in the PCI x 16 slot and disable the integrated graphics card that are on board. That is, if you plug a PCI x 16 slot... graphics card you no longer able to use the ports of the integrated graphics card. Finally, please check that the Sapphire HD 6850 will not be too long.

  The problem you are having is, most of the newer video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released on August 26, 2010.

  Some of the manufacturers have developed a VBIOS that will allow their cards to work with legacy BIOS.  I know that the EVGA has done with some of their cards.  I suggest to call their Tech Support (1888-880-3842) to see if they have a card that will work with your computer.

  64 bit certainly account for games... If you find a card that works and which has a memory of 128-bit interface you will be a happy player.  interfaces memory 64-bit will choke the 3D games

  It has been my experience that it is better to have a card of 128 bits with 1 GB of RAM than a 64-bit card with 2 GB of RAM.

  No it's just what HP suggested as an option to the configuration of the retail. You have the second-best video card, they offered, but you can install any express pci card, you can buy instead of the GeForce 7600GT. You also may have a power supply upgrade. Power requirements are generally overestimated for desktop computers. With a single hard drive and an optical drive, your 350 watt PSU should lead on any video card. If you have 2 hard drives and optical drives 2, 350 watts may be a bit low for a top of the line video card, of driving too.  Make sure you have the correct power cable as many video cards require a power adapter 6 pin how to plug on the map:

  

  If the computer does not have this power connector, an adapter to activate one of the molex (white connector 4 power pins) in one of them usually comes in the box with the video card.
