Best Vimeo export settings in 2014?

Hi guys, everything can you share their best settings at the moment? November 2014...

And I don't mean these regular export settings you can find on the vimeo site, I want to say those advanced settings that you find are the best at this moment!

Furthermore, I use avchd camcorder Panasonic AF100 AG, you can recommend a "workflow" for vimeo?

Thanks a lot guys.

Hello

Be sure to check the presets from Vimeo. Those that work very well.

Thank you

    Hello!

I had so much trouble with this issue and that's something that continually frustrates my boss. I have a HD video what are the settings for it

    23.98 FPS

    1920 x 1080, then a few lines down he says 1408 x 792

What should be the parameters when I do a new sequence?

When I look into the window in Premiere Pro I constantly have to "shrink" the image to fit the window, is that something I should do or he says that the configuration of the sequence is bad?

But more importantly what should be the parameters of export? I exported a long video of 4 minutes and the size was 1 GB, I know that it's too big.

I need to export without losing quality and export another one which is consistent with the limits on the size of Youtube and Vimeo.

Vimeo is 500 MB per week, sometimes I download 4 videos per week. I think that Youtube, you can download 500 MB at a time.

I need to get the smaller size with lose the least possible quality AND the best export quality settings, so I suppose I have 3 separate issues.

  • Best export settings Full HD for YouTube using Premiere CS4

    Dear all,
In advance, thank you for your time.
I'm downloading sports videos on YouTube especially snooker.
    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=s5qyGPld8U8
The videos are captured with a video camera high quality and then edited with Adobe Premiere CS4.
    Can I ask two questions:
    1. who are the best export settings for Youtube if you use a file of source Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 30 frames per second?
For the export file, I use the same width and height that the source file is 1920 x 1080.
However, the original file is shot at 30 frames per second, but I read somewhere that I have included use 59,94 frames per second for the export file, and it seems to work even if it doesn't sound right, it :-)
My current settings for my export file are:
    Video settings
    Main Concept H.264 video
    Width and Height: 1920 x 1080
    FPS: 59,94 frames per second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square Pixels
    Profile: hand
    Level: 4.2
    Flow settings
Encoding Bitrate: VBR, 1 Pass (I also use 2 because there is no worse that it takes just as long to return, pls correct me if I'm wrong)
    Target Bitrate: 4.8
    Maximum flow rate: 8.2
PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE ABOVE SETTINGS AND EXPLAIN WHY IF POSSIBLE, THANK YOU MUCH :-)
2 is it normal that the video export plays a lot on my PC but when uploaded to YouTube it jumps frames and it seems a little choppy?
I watched a lot of clips on YouTube in 720 p or 1080 p and v seemed good, when I looked at my that he wasn't playing as well as it does on my pc.
Should I keep in mind to help the YouTube Player by chnaging my export settings.
If you please comment on the above and also watch my videos for your comments on how to improve the quality.
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

    You are welcome

interlaced was sorta invented for use with the tv broadcast and the quality is very good and sometimes even better than progressive (even today) if there is a lot of 'Action' in a scene (less blur in the individual images if you look at the individual images to compare)... also, most DVD to date were burned of interlaced footage and many blue ray are too...

The DVD or blue ray player can understand what type of tv it is connected to (widescreen digital tv or old crt 4:3 tv) and deliver the right signal to make it all good look...

So there is no need to think progressive isn't automatically BETTER interlaced... it depends on a lot of things...

lets see if Ann weighs with cs4 settings for you... then read you these files pdf, hehe... you'll be an expert in no time!

PS... If you are interested, check out the news of color samples (you YUV and 4.2.0

I mention this as it might be more useful late re: reproduction of the right color on your exports (your color of youtube has been a little more 'saturated' IMO... very very green and very very red)... then at some point maybe that can be fixed up a little bit too...

  • Poor quality and poor framerate with best export settings

Hello, this is my first post, I searched the forums, watch videos on youtube, etc, but don't never came across something like this before, but anyway let's get down to the heart of the problem at a time!

I am currently using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (Version 6.0.2)

    Specifications of the PC

    -Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz

    -16 GB OF RAM

    GTX - 960 M graphics card

    The problem:

I have been using CS6 6 months now and not had a problem since day one.

The videos that I do are gameplay videos captured at 60 fps 1080 p with 36857 Kbps Total bitrate.

The videos where export with large 60 fps framerate, quality, as it should in the first place.

But everything changed one day after I did everything with the same agenda, as I did each time and video when exported was of poor quality and the rate was 30 frames per second.

BUT, when I am trying to check the properties of the video exported, everything is as I put is on the export settings, even if the vacuum has dicreased quality and bad frame rate (30 fps) up.

    I am exporting as follows:

    -Format: H.264

    -Basic video settings:

    -Width: height of 1920 1080

    -Frame rate: 59.94

-Order of fields: Progressive (it doesn't let me change it)

    -Appearance: Square Pixels (1.0)

    Tv - standard: NTSC

    -Profile: high

    -Level: 4.2

    -Rendering to maximum depth (verified)

    Flow settings:

-Bitrate VBR, 2 pass encoding (I also made 2 pass, but had the same effect)

    -Target speed [Mbps]: 36,82

    -Maximum Bitrate [Mbps]: 62.5

    Advanced settings:

    -Key Frame Distance 72 (verified)

Use maximum quality rendering (verified) use Previews (verified)

    I finally understood everything!

So when I started the project for some reason, I had chosen under the option 'Make and video playback' Renderer: Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) instead of Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Open CL).

After that everything worked perfectly as it should in the first place.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me understand my annoying error!

  • export settings of misunderstandings, Please HELP!

    Hello

I ask you to show me where I could find some tutorials or all that which teaches me what is the right export settings for each use! am a video editor and am on first pro

and what is the difference between the export button in the settings of export in first pro and the button of the queue which opens adobe media encoder? Please I want to understand

    Thanks in advance.

There are a lot, a lot of codecs to choose from and each, almost infinite combinations of settings. I understand that can be confusing! However, for many applications, there is no "good or bad", what suits the current needs. H.264 is currently the most popular choice for the web and mobile devices - it provides a high quality with less files than most codecs.

Now there are SOME things to be encoded in some way. For a DVD, you choose "DVD MPEG-2" and for the Blu - ray, the "MPEG - 2 Blu - ray" or "H.264 Blu - ray" for example. These methods of Directors require specific settings.

If you want to send a clip to a friend, you can use anything, your choice, but some codecs will create more voluminous than the others files, some have better quality, some are may not be not compatible with some devices. Again, H.264 is usually the best option.

Look under "H.264" and you'll see dozens of presets for various Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, etc), the Android devices, YouTube, Vimeo. These presets are a good starting point. Create a journal extract quality size and file reading, then try again, but maybe change the data rate and a balance that you are satisfied with your specific needs.

If you use the button 'Export' of the SOUL, it joined the machine. If you send the job to the "tail", which starts a separate instance of Adobe Media Encoder, which is capable of executing batches (encoding several files at a time), and you can continue to work in first when it happens. However, remember that coding uses a lot of resources, so, personally, I chose to leave the computer alone when he works hard to code something!

I hope it's a little useful. I'm sure there are more information available / related articles

    Thank you

  • Export settings

    Hello world

Although I had the first few months, I'm still a novice. I have some pictures of my hero4 gopro 1080 @ 29.97 30 fps and I have pictures of my drone that is 4 K video, 30 fps, 29.97

The video looks seems not very well in the first, but when I export it, or upload to youtube as crispy... Any thoughts on the best export settings to choose for this? Difficult to understand since I use two different rates of video, but I figure that there is a common practice.

    any help would be appreciated!

    Ray

There are several ways to get a new sequence. One is to use file > new sequence and choose a preset in the list. This assumes that you know the exact specifications of the sequence that you use and have the necessary expertise to choose a preset that fully corresponds to the length (frame size, frame rate, pixel aspect, fields, etc.)

Another is to simply drag a clip to a mounting empty by default and it should ask ' do you want to overwrite settings sequence clip? Of course, this only happens with the FIRST clip, you drag on it, so if it's a picture clip or video yet different from others, you can end up with "the right size" for your sequence.

You can right-click on a clip in the tray and select new sequence of the Clip and it's quite reliable! Of course, you must consider the flow of work and the so desired output. You mix 4K and HD clips, should edit you like 4K or HD? If you must provide only 4K, then change in the order of 4K and HD clips will be enhanced. But if you want to deliver HD, then edit in sequence HD and 4K will be reduced in HD, then convert them to the HD.

I still mainly edit with CS6 (long story) and who has the Scale to the setting option and I only activated in Prefs, so that any clip I'll just in sequence automatically adapts. However, CC now offers an option of game to the size of the image , and the advantage of this with the example to put a clip of 4 K in a HD sequence is that the clip of 4 K to insert as part of the HD, but you still have all the extra 4 K resolution available if you want to crop the image with effect of movement (pan/zoom).

Scale to frame or the value framework should give equal results if you do not zoom in the largest clip, using just straight up.

In any case, be sure to choose a setting appropriate to the sequence at the beginning of a project - disobedience can ruin the works, as evidenced by the many posters on this site. The sequence is the basis for the entire production. If this is incorrect (size of the frame, cadence, or aspect pixel, wrong field mess) the video can and will suffer to varying degrees. To check the current settings, choose sequence > sequence settings in the menu. Compare with the source item (right-click on a clip and check the Properties).

    Thank you

  • For interlaced video export settings

    Hello

I'm looking to export a short film, shot entirely in first Pro 6 - with many effects like color correction.

My images are 1080i 25 fps, once I have selected the preset under H.264 HD 1920x1080i 25 I get a standard set of adjustment, but my file comes to 4.2 GB. The VBR is set to 32 with max to 40.

These are the best parameters determined? If I lowered the flow at 20, he lowers it to 2 GB, but I still have the same quality?

Ive noticed too, interlaced does not work so well at the same time, if I were to export as fps will HD 1080p25 my video distorted?

ID love of trial and error, but each makes it takes about 4 hours! (and that's with VBR 1 pass)

In addition, I would like to export to Youtube and keep a copy on my PS3. I wouldn't mind the size, but as you know fat32 allows only 4 GB max to be transferred to a USB and PS3 is a Fat32 system if Im not transfer.

Would you recommend a generic export or another for Youtube and my PS3... keeping in mind that it is a short (20 min)

My recordings from cameras PAL to AVCHD to 21 Mbps or 28mbps in a progressive model.

I tried the rise of the film completed at 30 with a maximum of 35 and also exported to 20.  Seen on a 55 '' tv or projected only shows no significant difference.

The standard Youtube and Vimeo export presets work well for me, in general they export to 5 Mbps.

PS, I would export more precisely at the maximum rate that you can get over on your PS export

  • Still Image slide show is horrible... Export settings?

    Hello world

I'm trying to export a video that is basically a minute of images of high resolution (taken on a Nikon D800 & D90) disappear from one to the other every 3 seconds, and a piece of music played behind her.

I don't like what the final file size ends up being. I just need to export this video and have it look perfect. On my computer, however, until a dozen combinations of the file format / preset, they look completely pixelated and terrible. Best I've gotten so far was a Mp4 (forget the correct preset that I used, but I don't know I could understand this), but even that isn't even close to perfection on my computer screen, and I'm sure when it is big on a big screen TV it will look worse Eurorest. If I just show the pictures they look (they are really high resolution after all), so it's obviously something with the different export settings...

Can anyone provide any help / insight into what the correct settings would be for a project like this? Again once, the file size is not serious at all. Do not try to save space. I want to just this slide show to look as if I was flipping through a bunch of images on the computer in an image viewer...

    Thank you

Start in Photoshop.  Set up a script to batch resize images in HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, or near abouts.

Pp, create an AVC-Intra sequence, using the AVC - I 100 1080 p 24 preset.  Add images to it.  Add music and adjust as required.

    Predefined export using an H.264 HD 1080 p 23.976.

  • Export settings - incorrect page layout

    Hi guys,.

You wonder if you can help me, I hit a dead end! Thus, the first image shows a screenshot of my indesign document hence is the median line. However, the two images show the export. The second image is the first page where it ends and adds at the edge of the second page on the end, and then the third image is the second page, but seems to add at the edge of the first at the beginning.

I can't work out why. It must be of export settings (?), but I tried everything what it seems!

For reference, the background and the presentation is a document linked from photoshop, mounted at the waist. It works very well when you export as a spread, however, I need to export individual pages as for our printers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Adobe 2015.3 Premiere Pro export settings

    Hi people,

iMac (27 inch, at the end of 2013)

    3.5 GHz Core i7

    32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX M 780, 4096 MB

So, updated to 2015.3 and I see on the window of Premiere Pro export settings have changed considerably. One of the big things for me is I can not put my bitrates as I used a high-end and low-end, one pass, re-encoding, etc., which is kind of a big deal to me. Is there something I'm missing here? My old preset still life in Media Encoder but I can't get it to load first because those moments I export only a single video file.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Jim R.

Well, I don't know what happened, but when I opened just first again (and I did that several times today since updated the software) the old presets were back. When I installed initially 2015.3 he only had like 6 or 7 presets available, now they are all here. Maybe some kind of anomaly or something weird I did initially. Anyway, I'm back in business. Thank you!

  • High export settings

    Hi guys,.

Love the new application. You need just a few things (copy-clip-properties, speed, various transitions).

One of these things is high export settings. It is currently exported as 720 p in my opinion fairly low quality/Mbps.

I use a Nexus 6 p, one of the things I love is the camera great, but after exporting from inside the app they quality is destroyed. I know that you can export from Premiere Pro, but I am using the application because

I want to use the app for the small stuff. But this does not mean that it should lose video quality.

What is one thing that the guys are working behind the scenes?

    That'll keep! Very nice work.

    See you soon.

    Hi Leroy,

We heard requests for better export strong and clear resolution. Please stay tuned for that to be addressed in a future release.

Great ideas to accelerate your workflow mobile - thank you for your suggestions! May I ask what kind of project you create on the go?

  • In the new update, I can't believe that the default Source range in the export settings went from the output sequence.

Very very disappointed for someone who does a lot of export high speed it has great effect. Does perform a work around?

    Thank you

    Jeff

If you have activated the workspace, it will be by default Source range: workspace in the export settings. Go timeline menu burger/wing tab, and clear the work area. Who will come back you to the Source range: in and out sequence in the export of parameters.
