  Properly installed all updates of security except IE11 upgrade [has a full update of IE8 that should cover most security problems... [Since I use Firefox... or whatever it is, but it is to say... no biggie].

  I installed the updates [ie8, etc] 1 security and updates in batches of 20-30 for most recent first then older then. Then I installed the office updates and then a point net 3.51.research showed several versions of dot net needed.

  After each batch, I did a restore pt.

  Note: this repair facility corrected a connection problem that prevented programs and 32-bit browsers... including malwarebytes to connect to the net. I had followed the many expert suggestions to fix this problem without success before the repair facility.

  I am a user of hobby (Illy CS3) and have access to a printer to print anything bigger than DIN A4 and I need to make a poster.  I did a collage composed of pictures of friends with their good - gift is bubble.   I thought of exporting in .jpg format and uploading it to a photo service online for printing.  If I do the artboard, the size of the poster finished (e.g. 50 cm x 75 cm) it will work ok?  If so, do you have advice on settings, I use for the .jpg file?  Or should I do something else altogether?

  Update: editing has been done in CS4 on my daughter's computer, but if CS3 or CS4 probably makes no difference.

  A large size photo print will be expensive. Better to use a fast like Kinkos copy center. Call the digital print shop in your area and find out how big can then print. For not much more than a few dollars, you should easily find 11 × 17 or 12 × 18. More importantly shouldn't back off you as much as ten dollars.

  Any size you choose, set up your document to this format and fits all the illustrations. The finite resolution, across all the imported images must be 200 pixels per inch or better for best results. Use file > save a copy to save a print quality PDF file. Clear include Illustrator editing capabilities.

  According to the image that you have to work with, you could try an initial with the Quick Selection tool and refine edges.  Save the new output layer with layer mask.

  I don't think you understand the concept of Lightroom. The settings are stored in the catalog. They are not applied to the images. The catalog is the key. If the images in the main location are damaged or lost, then you can copy the backup images at that location and any adjustments that have been made will be implemented. The main thing you want to be sure to do is have a backup of your catalog, as well as a backup of your images. You can export copies of your images as JPEG, PSD or TIF images, and these copies will have all the adjustments included.

  I am doing for my application kinda like a panel where the user will have a JPG image which will be a map in the background and on top of that I need to have small images or icons that will be nodes of a network and nodes will have attributes that will determine the position of the screen to fit the map below.

  I'm new to Java and I don't know which is the best way to do it in Java. Can someone point me to the right direction?

  Most likely, you'll want to extend JButton or an icon to add the attributes, and then add an action listener so he can open a new window and display these attributes.

  I do not believe that the scanners large format are flat, if I'm wrong. In my view, they have a mobile head that scans the original bottle then made up the data with the software.

  It is not cheap, if the original can be easily damage they'll probably damage it unless you make sure that beforehand what they know about it
  and that they accept that they can scan without damaging it.

  Photography is a good solution if you know how the art of light and you use a long distance goal.

  The reason is shooting with a normal or wide-angle will give an effect of stretching the edges especially bandwidth due to the proximity of the camera to subject distance. The lens and the longer distance will accomplish the same capture without you stretching effect.

  Now, if you really have a service experience work fine arts or large commercial then scanning might be the way of.

  In both cases, I don't think you want to vectorize the art.

  We have all different ideas on sharing via "email address" and often features elements are not satisfactory for our purpose. You have perfectly described two features of pdf, share via the output to a pdf slide show (or video) or pdf.

  Both are quick and easy, but there is no direct way to display captions with images full resolution and without transition effects.

  You can use the function 'Print' with 'other options' Organizer configured to display captions, date... and specify one of many virtual printer drivers send the result to PDF instead of printing (standard in Windows 10). A quick and automated to produce a PDF without transitions and captions.

  Or you can use a free, good software like Faststone resizer to prepare your output with more control over the size and position of the legend.

  I have another problem: my use of the legends is such that I'm not all the legends that are shown, and I don't want each picture to have a caption (or title or date...) In fact, the text I want to appear on the pdf presentation would be specific to each image, with a different position depending on the image. It can be done with some work, and the result is much better.

  When I want to share (I like Dropbox, but other storage cloud solutions are good), I choose my output size: (rare), HD TV screen full resolution or smaller. The Organizer, I do a resize a selection based on the height in pixels, then another resize a canvas based on the width, in pixels, with a black background. Can I edit the files individually to add text (not necessarily the legends) where I want to. It's the only job that requires little time, but the result is much better than including legends, both for the appearance of the text and the coherence of the story.
