Beware of the Adobe Stock - nightmare Total offer

Has never been the expression "Attention to men bearing gifts" truer than the nightmare I went trying to catch Adobe their trial for Adobe stock.

Everytime I open photoshop an invitation to try stock Adobe bobs up - eventually it wore me down. He made it clear that I could try now - I would be charged for a month (£19.99) and then I could cancel whenever I wanted to. Despite the following venom - let say that I have benefited from 9 images "free." I said 'free', you will discover when you read about free images cost me money. As it happened that I found myself with only 9 images, that I wanted that the Adobe stock interface is not clear and it is very easy to find something that you didn't want - license that I shot first. Anyway - as a result of the poor interface and the very banal all of the images, I decided to cancel.

I went to my account are expected to be able to do this but it appeared all I could do was to cancel my subscription to all - CC is my job and I didn't want to risk it - also I had paid just for a new month, four days before. So I started a live chat - which lasted about 45 minutes with no results. It was obvious that the agent knew nothing of the offer and the only thing he has proposed to do was to cancel my subscription. Then began the conversation more confused as possible when he said that he 'bill' me this and 'credit', which - with the numbers that had absolutely no sense. Despite my pleadings, there is no way that he could not simply cancel my stock of Adobe and go back to my regular account. Ultimately I realized that for the 'free' offer, they charge you for everything new subscription even if you already have one, so in this case I was charged £38.11 on 21 November and then £58.10 November 23 and then another £38.11 on 24 November. So the offer 'free', if I had not canceled it would have cost £134,32 during the first month.

After much hassle, I have now managed to extract a credit note for £90,46 who wants to say that my 10 free photos (9 I wanted to sort of and 1 I do not have) have cost me £5.75 and over an hour of my life by train to sort.

It was really a botched job for a company the size and reputation of Adobe and I urge the people to not be tempted by their offers whenever they open Photoshop. Services like dreamstime.com offer a much better and more flexible (no I don't work for them!).

Hi MartinRTR

I'm sorry that you had a frustrating experience with the supply of Stock.

Whenever a regime change is made, this creates a load for the new regime and a refund for the unused on the previous plan.

In your case you did pay £38.11 to your CC plan Nov 20.

On November 23, the plan was changed to CC + Stock - fees of £58.10 and repayment of £34.30 of the original plan of CC

On November 24, the plan has been changed back to CC - costs £38.11 and refund of £56,16 of CC + Stock plan

Normally, for the first month of Stock is refunded within 48 hours, but as a regime change has been done in this period there was no refund for Stock.

I have will process a refund for £5.75 and have added some credence to your plan of CC - next billing date is Jan 24.

Kind regards

Bev
