Big delay opening first image?:

First image of the opening, short sniffer_gpu, takes 30-45 seconds to query the gpu.  And then he stops, and Photohop goes "not responding" mode for 30-45 seconds.  After the first image, everything works fine.  Extended PS6, I7, 64-bit processor, 32 GB of ram, beaucoup of available disk space, nVidia 680M GPU with 4 gig ram.  Card added to the supported file, is instantly recognized by first and After Effects and everything to work well in Photoshop.  It started a few weeks before, without apparent modification of the system or the software.  Ideas please?

  • SWF freezes on the first image in the browser, plays OK when opened in Flash. Number, nothing changed

    I installed a test site: [removed by the moderator at the request of the OP]

    If you click 'Show the gesture of task' a short clip should play. However, it freezes on the first image.

    If you download and run it locally in Flash, it works as expected.

  • Remove the application & substitute program for opening an image

    I try to open an image in the photo MS instead of opening with the program manager, I touched his request!   How to remove the application from the choices and put in the program?

    The problem is that I had installed the MS Picture Manager but she didn't open it because that would be the case with the first use of it.  Once I open it the file it automatically become the shortcut that I thought I had installed & problem has been resolved.  It is interesting that Windows XP has enabled the program closed install!

  • 3 related issues: slow movement; the photos are all from the first image; and no sound from the soundtrack to the DVD downloaded.

    I put a DVD in my computer. It plays fine in Windows Media Player. When I transfer to Windows Movie Maker Live, three things happen: 1) the thumbnails are all the same - the first image. (2) the movement is slow. I tried it accelerates, but it is simply not the movement in real time - either too slow or too fast. (3) the soundtrack plays for a fraction of a second.

    What is the problem and how to fix it?

    I converted DVD to WMV format. This fixes the movement of the image and I can hear the music (not quite synchronized), however the thumbnails are still just the first image. In addition, every single feature that I blow (editing, effects, forwards, etc.) the picture freezes and yet the soundtrack plays again.

    ===================================
    It is normal that video to be the first image thumbs.

    Since it was a DVD... I guess it's a big project
    and the gel could be due to a lack of system resources.
    If you wait it can dissipate.

    Some video converters are better than others... Freemake
    maybe worth a try.

    It is also possible that your video driver may need an update.

    Verify that the video driver is problematic is to
    reduce the graphics hardware acceleration:

    Windows 7 - reduce graphics acceleration
    (see following article)

    More low hardware acceleration

  • Open an Image in Photoshop puts a pink color on top of the Image.

    I work with the CC 2015 version of Photoshop. When I start a new image in Photoshop, everything is fine. When I open an image in Photoshop, it puts this pink color on top of images. I have a black and white image for example, and it opens in Photoshop causes the white part turn pink. Similarly just regular color images get a pink above them, as if I put a pink colored filter on top of the image. I scoured around and I can't seem to find an answer to the problem I have. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to mention that all open images mode is RGB.

    Looks like the problem fixed itself. I left on Photoshop and then re - open the photos everything was just peachy. In this case, even once, that I will remember to take a screenshot of it. I honestly don't know what could have caused this is the first place to be completely honest.

  • Just upgraded to Lightroom 6 but I'm unable to open RAW images. [Correction to Canon 80 d]

    I've upgraded to Lightroom 6 in support of my new camera (Canon 80 d) but I'm unable to open RAW images. Can someone help and tell me what I'm doing wrong please? Thank you Sandra

    You need LR 6.5.  When you first install LR 6, he moved to 6.0.

    Try to download and install the LR 6.5.1 patch here:

  • How to go back to the first image of a directory

    Hello!

    I tried the HOME button, but nothing happened.

    How can I go to the first or the last image without pressing on for many minutes right or left arrow?

    Best regards

    'Ctrl-Home to go to the first image' or Ctrl-End works, if you are in the library Mode AND have enabled grid display. But it also to change only the display of grid, not the big picture on the background.

  • Droplets not opening not Image - CS5

    I created my first drop and it is unfortunately not working - drop tests, but does not open the image you want, so never initiate the connection.

    Ideally the droplet opena an image, then runs two actions.  If I manually open an image and manually run the two actions, everything is great.  But when I create the droplet, the image never opens and then the actions fail (probably because they have no image to use on).

    I did research on the Internet, and tried the solutions I've seen who proposed to create the drop while Photoshop was opened in mode 'administrator', and then by changing the permissions (security) of the drop resulting it to run in administrator mode.  I'm trying this on a computer that is running Windows 7 and Photoshop CS5 (12.0.4 x 64), and I am the owner and the only user of the system, so the folder permissions should not be a problem.

    Any thoughts?

    Brian

    Try to change the following parameters in the dialog box Create droplets:

    * Deselect Override Action "Open" Commands since you don't have a step in your action.

    * For the Destination, choose a folder rather than save and close since you have a step save in your action.

  • How to open two images to mix or layers?

    I know that this will be a very silly question for hundreds of Photoshop users, but I watched many tutorials video and read the manuals and again, I can not open two photos in Photoshop to mix. More specifically, when I go to file > open, and select the file, no problem. The image is opened and is located in the workspace; However, when I go to file > open, and select the second image, problem!  The second image simply replaces the first image open in the workspace of th. I also see how others simply drag an image another image to combine; I just can't do it! What I am doing wrong, or what should I do to just be able to combine the two photos for mixing or layering.

    I really appreciate your help and your experience, and I'm looking forward to get your answers! Thank you!!

    "To load multiple images into a layered document, you can use the function"load files into stack", which is located under file--> script--> load files into stack.

  • First image too large

    I create a preloader to place in front of my movie files, but the first image of the film is so great that the preloader does not appear until the film is 50% load. I have a flv playback component, which is the reason why the film is so great. How can I get around the large file in order to make the preloader appear at the beginning?

    You can look it up in the help of Flash under MovieClipLoader documentation. It's pretty simple... make new a FLA is the same dimensions as your 'hand' content SWF, fps even and BG color... Open the control panel actions and paste it in there. (Make sure and save this file as myPreloader (or something) in the same directory as your main SWF file.)

    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("holder_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth ());
    var myLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    var myListener:Object = new Object();
    myListener.onLoadProgress = {function(bytesLoaded:Number,_bytesTotal:Number):Void}
    make preloading stuff
    };
    myListener.onLoadComplete = function (): Void {}
    do something when it's done loading
    };
    myLoader.addListener (myListener);
    myLoader.loadClip ("main.swf", holder_mc); Replace main.swf with your name of sovereign wealth funds

  • Open an image without downloading

    Hello
    Often when I left click on a hyperlink to an image, Firefox will ask me where I would like to download. However, my goal of clicking this link should just open the image in a new tab. When I went to find the default option for opening a picture, I didn't choose "Preview in browser" (a choice you get to open .pdf files, among other things). What I am doing wrong? I don't want to download image URL which I click.

    I found an extension that allows me to do that, but I can not define the behavior of the default extension. Basically, whenever I open a picture, I left click it and then select the option to open it in a new tab. It is quite heavy and clumsy behaviour, and I'd really appreciate a workaround solution.

    I already ran Firefox mode without failure, but without success.

    Thank you for your time.

    This is usually caused by the way in which the server sends the file.
    If the server sends the file to an image type recognized then, Firefox will display the image in a tab.
    If the server sends the file a generic type of content or another way that makes Firefox with a nice dialog box, then your only option is to use the extension "Open in browser" or possibly a special bookmarklet.

    You can use the Live Http Headers extension or possibly network monitor to check the HTTP response headers.

    If you use "FontExplorer", 'Suitcase', or any other third-party font manager, please disable it and see if the alerts stop. If not, see below.

    Restart the computer in safe mode. Some caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.

    Safe mode is much slower to start up as normal. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

    If you use no FileVault 2 in OS X 10.7 ("Lion") or later version, you can restart as usual (not in safe mode) when the login screen appears. There is no need to log on in safe mode.

    If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan") or later version, or if you don't know if use you it, you as usual then connect in safe mode, and then restart (not in safe mode.)

    If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.10 ("Yosemite") or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, request further instructions.

  • I want an add-on which opens the images in whatever program I chose

    You know how when you search for a folder in Windows Explorer, you right-click on a type of image file and there is an 'Open with' option where you can select what type of program with which to open/view/modify this image?

    There is an add-on for FireFox that allows me to do the same thing?

    For example, I go to http://icanhascheezburger.com I see an image I like and that you want to save, but I want to open in IrfanView to change before I save it. So in Firefox, I right click on the image and I get the "Open with" menu has if I click right ob the same file after saving it

    An add-on that can do this is Launchy - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/launchy/

    Although the description says it allows you to open links and mailto with external applications, you can also set it so that when you right-click on an image you can open the image in your chosen application. See http://gemal.dk/mozilla/launchy.html for more information about configuring Launchy
